This app is great! Check out the jokes they have, super funny!!🙂 current information with news,games an more! The only small thing that sometime gets in my way is how there is no control over how the app is open. It just automatically opened every time I open my phone. It treat itself like an screensaver. Over all I love this app. So go on an have a try an get SCOOP In!

I would like it better if it was an option to install instead of pre installed. My phone came with a lot of pre installed apps that can't be uninstalled. Not everyone wants to support Facebook, YouTube or Google. The news stories are also not balanced. Very left leaning and Republican critical. I get enough of that every day. Don't care how celebrities live, feel or think. There are a few good feel good stories, if they aren't the long click bait ones.

This app is so damn pesky that I'm considering dropping Cricket service because of it . It won't let you uninstall it and it's always there covering your phone's screen when you turn it on. You have to continually clear it off.

You are not the scoop. Get this trash off my phone and stop sending me notifications to look at it. Yet another reason why you're sniping off other devices but your own brands so this app can't be removed. I use unlocked global Chinese devices that outperform all of your devices usually half off near double the performance. Educate yourselves, people.

The "Scoop" seems to be a combination of real and personally unverified news. Overall, I think the experience was satisfactory, however I need additional information from Developers. Unbiased Report. Contact me immediately for further questions. 🙏 Thanks J.M.

I like this app , just hate the ads especially when it costs money to not get ads because u got buy a subscription , because everyone does that , it's nickel and diming everyone that needs to change ,

the SCOOP app is just beginning to dawn on me. I am a 'self-retarded' bloomer. Umm a late bloomer is a bit too underrated term for me. So is self-delayed. Actually, and literally, I am taking my slow sweet time indulging in this app. And it too, is getting sweeter.

Love this app it has interesting news. The layout is really nice. I love the fortune cookie and the random questions on another part of the app. And I love the games they are a lot of fun. Good job Cricket!!!

I like news, keeps me informed. Though I prefer it doing it once per day and not all the time randomly.

I'm a fan of this version. Maybe it's the green. Maybe it's the content composition, seems better tailored to me as far as customization / ad choices

Gets in the way when I'm in hurry to use phone. I should have a choice of what I want to see. I'd like to disable it more than keep it. News is not interesting to me especially sports.

On the first day using my new phone, a App Named theSCOOP Opened, and at all days, it opens the app, with news, I think they are fake

It's intrusive and the fact that is hard or impossible to "hide" because it is preinstalled on the phone makes it even more annoying. A choice to see this app full of articles about entertainment would make it more interesting if that is your interest. Or maybe an option to install it and then choose your interests. But personally I Hate It and have tried in every way to keep it off my screen! I hope you take some of my options for the content provided into consideration. Thx 😊

This app comes pre-installed as bloatware through my carrier. DO NOT INSTALL!! It is nothing more than an add carrier. The few actual news articles are from "sorces" I've never heard of. Most of the "articles are sponsored adds made to look like news headlines. Most importantly (for those with any kind of data limit or cap) it used 320 MB of data in 48 hours. It's always running in the background.

This application comes preinstalled on phones as a subscriber to Cricket. I love the idea they're trying to accomplish with this app, but it's very unnecessary. I quickly became frustrated when trying to use my phone for non-entertainment purposes, and felt like the app was a distraction. To disable the pop-up, I went into the app settings, and blocked notifications, as well as disabled all permissions. Haven't seen a pop-up from theSCOOP since.

App probably is good for some people, but for me, this app is a nuisance. Pops up every time phone is opened and app has to be closed before you can answer a call or do anything else. It does provide a lot of good information and and news items, but they are interspaced with too many ads and a lot of things that to me are junk, or just plain garbage.

Annoying. I understand that Cricket wants it's preinstalled software to be used, but don't force us to use see it every time we enter our phone please. Also, the settings button is useless because it just brings us to the play store, can't even change to dark mode which would be an improvement for the app because the white background is pretty jarring with all of the empty screen space there is on the app.

Cricket Wireless will not allow this to be uninstalled, and reactivates it after every (mandatory) system upgrade. It pops up EVERY time you unlock your phone and fills your screen, no matter what you actually want to do with the device you paid for. This is literally malware. Factory installed malware. It's an alternative revenue stream (contains ads) for the carrier at the expense of its users' time and sanity. So skeezy. Cricket Wireless and its parent company, AT&T should be ashamed.
