Worked great a year or so ago, added my photos and it stitched them. Tried same method, functionality has been removed.
Intuitive app that saves alot of time to import export to other platform for simple editing. Would be better if can do abit more like zooming in some functions
This app used to be awesome, I created a ton of great animated 360's with it. In the last few months though I am unable to produce anything of quality. I shoot 360 on DSLR so when I try to use my large image files in theta+ the app crashes, so I have to compress the image files by at least 1/4 of the original size which makes the end results look awful. The movement is very choppy now as well, where it used to be smooth. Sadly I don't think I'll be able to use this app anymore. I would 1000% be willing to pay for an upgraded version of this app that would allow larger image files and better animation, just saying. :)
I made the mistake of updating to the latest version and now it's impossible to save a photo in landscape format. If I photograph a landscape I want a result which is a landscape not a portrait! The previous version allowed me to save pictures in 1920x1080 orientation and resolution. Nothing is better is this latest version. It got worse. There also doesn't seem to be an easy way to rescan the thumbnails or change the folder where files are stored. This is a bizarre omission. :(
Difficult to use, despite somewhat regular updates. Can't move image around while touching up, you have to save each change then move the image as needed, repeat. Can't seem to save as a 360 image and little planet at the same time. Not sure there are other apps that could substitute. Can't pan around ages in the gallery to pick the desired image if you dont know what's on the back side.
A m useing A73 samsung i downloaded THETA+. This app is not working so what to do pls suggest Thanks
Love the user-friendly of the app , It shows some nice people actually put many consideration in to developing it ... But it eats too much CPU-memory , the only photo feature of it works for me ... it always crashes during video editing or freezes with 0% rendering ; I stopped and cleaned up all background apps even google , basic phone related apps ... Yet still crashes , but anyway Thanks , it makes great photos :-)
The app has potential, though it does not deserve 5 star but I still gave it to motivate & encourage the developers to do better.. BTW, the app fridges sometime, please fix. I use Huawei 360 photos
Great camera, let down by a terrible app. Crashes constantly, slow and poor interface...
Good basic editing app, works with all 360 photo and video. Love the animation of photos. PRO: free, easy of use, works with any 360 photos. CON: It crashes at times and limited editing. Note: app sometimes have to be deleted and reinstalled. I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 edge. 🤬

questionable privacy policy. only works with 360 files and not just any jpeg or video. if this is not intended, then it misreads all my files as corrupt. if you're looking for a tiny planet effect and you don't own a 360degrees camera, use MirrorLab for photos on mobile or Aftereffects for videos on computer.

Probably the best creating over capture, free capture... for 360 images, but unfortunately it drops the resolution on conversion, so ger really pixilated video. Not sure why as have created similar Footage with Insta360 One X same photo, but limited to built in free capture options. Disappointing the pixelated video results. Had potential and dosen't appear the developer responded to customer feedback...
Used to use this to edit my pictures on my Google Pixel phone and it worked very well. I have since upgraded to the Google Pixel 4 and this app no longer works. Tells me I need to install additional update to run, I click ok, and it tells me that it cannot be updated and then closes.
I thought apps were supposed to get better with updates... App is killing the space on my phone probably because it's kept images in its database since the initial launch of the app and there is "no way" to delete these ghost files just like there is no option to contact support. Epic fail.
It's my go to app for reframing but it has stopped working. It won't open. I hope this is resolved soon. Also I'd like for it to go back to the last photo edited when you click back to the gallery. Like it used to versus going to thw top of the gallery.
This is the most difficult app ever. I have been trying for an hour and can't even master a simple trim a video and set it starting view. This app is a major fail. The only thing that work are the filters which I have no interest in.
Please keep slow motion and some more effects thank you 🙏😊🤩🥳
Not sure what the opening ad is about and no "x" to close it. Also, the app really isn't very intuitive or user friendly. Would be good to make the animations even slower and have ability to choose quality or file size.
This app seems to be having really good features. But only the videos were showing in the front page. There was no option to view and edit images. There was no settings or filters either. So kindly fix this issue.
I've had a Theta S, V and Z1 and been using Theta+ for stills and video since 2016. I especially like the stereographic ( little planet ) feature for video. Using a touch screen to re-form a flowing spherical image is a beautifully "hands-on" means of creating art. It is like sculpting clay to me. Please keep it up.
There are no settings for selecting the output folder and resolution. secondly while exporting it will stuck at 71% and hangs. tried multiple times. In Setting>apps>theta+> data usage keeps in increasing. cosuming almost thrice of what actual video was! and still no output!
Can't share to or open to with this app, useless, thru gallery bowser is so slow and horrible, should be able to share picture i want edited from file browser or my gallery app of choice directly to theta, without that I will characterise this app as pretty useless. Doesn't even list pictures just taken, just pictures from weeks back, terrible in app gallery, worst I have ever seen and so slow... Delete
Wanted to make 360 videos on android. I found your app to be expert in it. But sadly.. can't even open a single video to edit.. though they are shown in the video section with thumbnails.. may be the update messed it all.. Lost a new user!!!
1/4/2020 The most recent update breaks on my Pixel 4. It is not correctly accessing my photos library. It does however show a few pictures probably from some other directory on my phone... But when I click on the photo I get the error message "Data is corrupt." This app worked great on my Moto X4. but opening the app for the first time on my Pixel 4 it requires an "additional download" before it will allow you to run the app. 5/11/2020 Still does not work on the Pixel 4 XL.
Well seen allot of up and down reviews, I had this app working perfectly on the Google pixel 1 and 2 plus the XL models, Will be trying this out on the new P20 Pro. This app could really use a more user-friendly livestream feature also the app can be somewhat temperamental when doing long edits. Keep up the work theta your camera cost me my life savings haha
Very nice app only one problem which is while I convert a 360 photo into animation in this app the final video becomes very low resolution while my photo is at pretty high resolution. At least give an option to render or save video into 1080p or 4k resolution.
it wont work videos on my blade spark android 7.1.1 it says that my 360 viideos are not supported.......... but many other people have made youtube videos showing works using my same cam, so i know it could be my phone, but WHY? plus, the videos wont even preview in the app, the pictures work great! but the videos NO! :(
Very badly designed app. The GUI is awful, chosing and saving files is tedious and performance overall is poor. Editing options are very limited and do not allow finer adjustments. size of saved panoramas is very limited. - update 2022-04-28: the app is getting WORSE with every update: the newest BS is that it is not able to switch from portrait to landscape mode when editing pictures, which makes it impossible to produce panoramas from 360 degree shots. PLEASE FIX THIS!!! :-x
