Thimble Insurance

Price went up a lot! After being a steady customer for two years, with no claims, they more than doubled the price of my policy without any explanation why. But said the price was because I was a good customer. I am switching to another app that has a better price than thimble does now. Thimble used to be the best until the absolute insane price increase.

I like the concept, but they advertised that they could cover my industry, yet the app itself says otherwise. Don't waste my time, that's a cardinal sin.

Easy to use & setup. No opinion on claims policy, never had a claim. Great for insuring individual contracting projects & my regular business activities.

Used to be great, but they recently changed how one can customize your coverage. Videographers/photographers used to be able to waive professional liability coverage, making it very affordable for us to get a general insurance policy for gigs at a great cost. Now it forces us to pay significantly more to have professional liability bundled with general, even if we don't need it. Please go back to how it was, I don't need professional liability insurance for my work and don't want to pay for it!

Really easy to use and get started. The only down side i seen is that you can't pay more then one month in advance so in the certificate it shows that the policy will expire in 1 months time. I always have projects that span 2-3months but the app makes it super easy to share and email the updated policy with the customer. Over all I'm extremely satisfied and will recommend Thimble.

This is one of the best programs for a Subcontractor/Handyman /person who can do pretty much everything. I love the way the program is set up. Now I've never had a claim so I don't know how that process works but the general setup of it is beautiful and the customers love it too.

Completely blew my mind. After filling out numerous quote forms for other companies and either getting denied for offering some relatively basic and low risk services, or getting ridiculously high quotes, I found Thimble. Thought it might be too good to be true how quick and easy the application was, that the policy covers me for all my services, and how affordable the premiums are. Hopefully they'll be just as good in the unlikely and unfortunate event of a claim.

I'm not one to usually right reviews but this company definitely deserves it! First and foremost, their prices are substantially lower than any of the competitors out there (like 50% lower in my case). Anytime I need to have a business added as a certificate holder, it's done in minutes! It's been by far the best experience I've ever had with a insurance company! 5 stars and highly recommended!

this app has been a life saver . my business is a start up and we have been denied by so many big insurance companies only because we have not been in business for 2 years. so im thrilled that i can insure my business and comply with the law. it was so frustrating looking for insurance and getting denied ... it wasvery difficult to secure jobs. BUT now we can add insurance for individual jobs, by the hour or day. this is the best options for my company and we are so happy to use it.

I have had thimble for the last 4 years when I established my business in 2019 March that year I feel secure with them knowing a large agency nationally used has my back for my small family owned business. When you don't have a lot of time. I personally think when it comes down to it you want a large insurance agency because they can afford the lawyers God forbid if you ever need one. The multi-million dollar lawsuit lawyers but do your job do it good and you won't ever have to use them🤞

I would have given 5 stars for how the app works but the policy costs are way over priced. I understand there should be a premium for the luxury but these guys are rapists! example; the same general liability policy they are selling at $157/week only costs 1600 for the entire year with a standard company. I would only use this as an emergency back up plan

really expensive. my 1 mil insurance runs $67 a month. I tried this app and for the same coverage, it's $199. WOW

Every time I open the app it acts as if I'm a first time user promoting me to buy a policy even though I've had policies in effect with them for over a year.

Cant describe how effective and affordable this company/app is. It has modernized an archaic industry that seems impossible to navigate.

Theres no coverage option for your equipment. No sense in paying a dime for anything that doesnt cover you and your property as well.
