Thing Counter

Love the app, great attention to detail for such a simple functionality, the only bugs being (for now) that if you hold down the volume down button, the counter will continuously decrease (unlike with the volume up button), and the voice output will say the name of the counter regardless to whether the option is enabled or disabled, doesn't bother me at all, just thought I'd point those out for good measure.

Excellent, attractive, low permission, high functionality. I appreciate the voice counting option to make sure I don't misclick. My only suggestion would be to allow the + and - buttons to be larger so they are easier to click without dedicating full attention on exactly where on the screen they are. This is a very minor issue for an otherwise excellent app

This app is great! However, it needs more improvement. Please add a feature to have a delay before another count is allowed. Often times in ONE tap the score/count is increased MORE than one times, perhaps due to dust or the phone's touchscreen problem. So having an option to add some delay before another score/count addition/subtraction would be great to fix this issue. I'll change the rating to 5 when the requested feature is added or at least when I get confirmation. Thanks!

I work in asphalt construction and use this app on almost every job. Its a clean and simple way to count stall lines and various other striping components that need to be repainted. Only 2 suggestions I could give. First is to add an export option or an option that changes everything counted to text output so it can be copied and pasted. Second is to add a color wheel or larger color selection for each counter.

I LOVE this little app. I use it on a daily basis. I have several work projects that require keeping a tally while working them. This app keeps me from having scrap paper cluttering my work space. My only suggestion would be to allow a "remember this option" and only having to confirm clearing the counter once instead of each time. Other than that, it's perfect!

Exactly what I was looking for, very intuitive, and has every feature I've needed. My only suggestion is to consider adding a website or PC app that links to an account, so I can have the same counters on PC. Fantastic app and very helpful! Also, I don't think it even has ads.

I tried several counter apps and found Thing Counter to be the best for my purposes. I especially like that you can set up multiple counters and name them differently. The app can say the number of counts and the name of that counter. For exercises where you hold a position for two or three seconds to complete the repetition just name that counter a longer name so when the count is said it covers the number of seconds you want to hold the position.

It's a great app and the best one i found for this purpose after searching among many! 2 advices: to be able to pause the time counter. Once i initialize all counters, not to immediately start timing all of them. I wish to be able to set when to start counting the time and to be able to pause it when i wish, for example after a minute I'm not actively using the app. The second thing is to be able to see and modify the number of counting from the main drop down menu of my phone.

It's unbelievable that app like this is actually 100% free. It's got everything you'd need from a board game score tracker! The only thing I can imagine to add, is to make some kind of switch that would make all counters to fill the screen. For example if there are two players, by hitting that switch, each counter would take half of the screen. In that way each player could easily manage their own counters.

Fantastic app, and just what I needed for this project! I would love the ability to occasionally add a specified number of things to a counter, rather than having to click each time (and instead of having to edit the step size, which has been my work around). An export of some kind would be great as well, but I realize both are a lot to ask for such an already very useful free app!

Good, simple tally app. It has a great amount of features for a free app and it works well. Only complaint is that making a widget creates a new counter and it can't connect to an old counter. So if you remove a widget, you keep the counter, but it can't connect to a widget again. Which means if you want to keep all the history, you will have multiple copies for each counter.

A click counter for your phone. It has worked flawlessly on my Android. Multiple counters can be displayed and used simultaneously and sound and display can be changed for convenience. They only thing I can think of to make it more useful as a click counter would be the ability to save a record of clicks in time intervals, but what it does to, it does very well.

Excellent user-friendly app. I use it when knitting - so easy to just tap the screen each time I finish a row. I really like the fact that I can leave the screen on while using the app. I also like that there's lots of room for the name of each counter - enough for me to add details about what I'm knitting which is a brilliant resource when I'm inventing new patterns. A 'lock' feature might be an extra benefit for finished counters, but details are visible in the history if you clear the count.

I've been looking for a good clicker for my shiny hunting, and this one is perfect. I can color code, there doesn't seem to be a limit on how many counters I can have, and it's free, adless, and easy to use. My only two minor complaints are not being able to bind existing counters to the widget, and that the colors are a little off. But these don't really hurt the functionality at all, and I still think this is the perfect app for what I need it for :)

Love this app! It was exactly what I was looking for! I very much appreciate the customization options (sorting, color, reset value, count by, etc). I was so glad to come across this app finally. The only small suggestions would be to make it a little easier to manually input values, as currently it takes 5 clicks to get there; and also to include a half screen (4 x 2) widget that can show multiple counters. Thanks!

It's suddenly glitching. When I scroll down and back up it appears to have an inaccurate count of the top item at least, until I add another tick, then it's right, but it's broken nonetheless. IDK if there was a recent update or what, but I liked this app because of the easy "clear all" feature that the other one I was using didn't have. I'm irritated that now I have to find another app.

So I use this for RPG tabletop play, and it's perfect. Easy to customize, reset after a rest, and add new lines. My only gripe (and it's a small one) is that the number value is just slightly cut off on the bottom of the counter bubbles. A small visual annoyance in otherwise a perfect app. Edit - I decreased the display font size and it resolved the issue.

Finally found this!! I have an illness that affects my memory, and I wanted an app that would give me a simple button on my phone that I could push to record the time I take Ibuprofen or other "as needed" meds. All the "med tracker" apps are WAY too complicated for what I needed. You can choose label, color, and size of the button! Only thing I'd change is, it would be amazing if you could choose to display the time you last pushed it right there on the button. But thanks for this! Love it!!
