Good service. Good App. Always been a good experience. Think Bank has served me well for many years. I wish they were still a Credit Union, but we can't have it all now can we.
Easy to use, easy to switch between my business and personal accounts, has all the info I've ever thought to look for.
App could be better. It constantly errors when I try to check my balance and the credit card section asks me for my cell number every time I login even though I've added it dozens of times and its already in my profile.
Very slow transaction time! I also hate how every little thing has to be added to a temporary file before it actually happens.
It is hard to tell what the exact balance is in checking account. I know I could calculate this out myself every time I make a transaction, but honestly very few people I know do this and I can't find any reason why the app can't do it as well.
Great Bank and great app. Very easy to use.
I've never had any issues with the App but I do wish it had catagories of money spent and where, what, etc
The new app is okay. My biggest complaint is that it logs you out immediately if you change apps. For example, this means you can't switch over to the calculator app or another banking app without having to log back in. You can't do split screen either. This makes it more secure, but also frustrating. People are used to looking for the logout button (just read the other reviews). I do appreciate being able to view my Visa balance along with other accounts!
Sure, it's flashier than the old app, but it's certainly not more useful. They've removed the option for cross-account transfers, like others have stated, and I can't see a reason for it. The information layout is cumbersome at best, and information that used to be at-a-glance is now hidden in swipable cards. This is a surprisingly-disappointing move on TMB's part.

I think it's great. I check it everyday. All good It would be so nice to be able to stop payment right on the app. I've been having trouble with online companies trying that make it hard to get refunds or charging my account twice. When they are pending, I should be able to stop payment. I've started with Think when it was IBM credit union. My dad helped sign us up for saving at the time 🙂
Has some issues loading even when connected to a strong wifi or cell connection otherwise works as it should
Im with everybody else on this one...harder to navigate, way too much information, too many pages to navigate through and oh yeah there is no way to sign out of the app once youve logged in...the only way to "log out" is there is a button to remove all your info from the app and you have to set it up again the next time you open the app, set up a new pin, add a new fingerprint..etc. what a waste of time the other app was so much faster...dont fix it if it aint broke.
Think Bank has always been extremely helpful to me in every occasion that I needed help.
I liked the old look better, this app is not as phone user friendly. It is not convenient, des have a running tally of monthly Bill's being paid like it used to, nor does it list them in order of dates due. Each time a bill is looked at , it starts over at the beginning.
I am so happy to deposit checks by the app. It has saved me so many trips to the bank. Zelle has saved me some trips for cash to give to others also.
One problem i have frequently is when i open the app it tells me it fails to update. So I refresh the page and i get an error. No information updates. I cant see my balances, i cant see transactions. Please stop making changes to the look of the page (changing colors and logo) when your app doesnt function properly. Ive tried on different phones, different internet connections and uninstalling and uninstalling. Please fix your app before performing any other aesthetics changes. Otherwise great!
yep - from a security perspective, a crappy upgrade. they no longer permit you to log out which meams that your only protection is a 4 digit passcode. I wrote to their info center asking about this seeming decrease in security from the older version and they responded that they have now included fingerprint and facial recognition. thanks a lot - i don't own a mega expensive phone that includes that capability. this upgrade DECREASES security.
Waste of time to develop. Needless update to something that was already great. This app switch is like someone decided that a shiny app with more buzzwords like "fully customizable" would bring high value. No. That being said, this app appears to be functional. The tutorial was highly annoying upon initial login.
Think Bank app works seamless for me on Galaxy S9. Yes I know it's an old phone, but it still works perfect.
Love that it gives me so many abilities to manage my finances.
this new app is great! it's so nice that you can just close the app and it automatically logs you out. then when you go back in you can just use your passcode or fingerprint and start where you left off. I did call to see if there was a log off for the app and they were so nice and friendly and explained to me how it works :)
Great new look, and needing only a PIN number to log in is very nice! Also having access to the Visa Credit account without going to another website is a plus! This new version of the app does not allow you to schedule a transfer to another Think Bank account, it will only allow you to transfer to your own accounts. I will give it 5 stars when it is updated to do so!
Poor security for a bank account! Think has added full 2-factor authentication to the online web interface, but this new security is completely undermined by this mobile app. The app confirms your login the first time you use it, and then applies a weak 4 digit PIN from there on. There isn't a way to undo this short of purging the app... which is what I will do.
I find the app easy to use and all of the features make banking on the go very accessible. Only downfall is that it seems to be "error in updating" more frequently than I would like to see.
NEED TO FIX: when scheduling a transfer, the 'MORE OPTIONS' button NEEDS to be moved away from the 'SUBMIT' button. In my case, I was trying to set up a payment to be scheduled 3 weeks in the future but instead when I tried to hit the 'more options button, it submitted instead moved the money immediately. Thankfully I don't need the money immediately but this is just unacceptable. I SHOULD BE ABLE TO CONTROL HOW MY MONEY IS MOVED WITHOUT WORRYING THAT I MIGHT NOT HIT THE RIGHT.
Tagging Items - Great Features. Wish they would add the ability to send a copy of transactions via typing in a code. Go back to the old colors - so much better. Would give 4 stars just for that alone.
Since the change of the app, you now have to CALL OR CHAT with someone in order to make a cross account transfer. This is a feature is a reason I encouraged family and friends to get an account with Think. Removing that ability and having to speak with someone to move MY MONEY is a bit frustrating. Yea you can set up bill pay to a person, but that takes a day or two for the person to receive it. sometimes my child need emergency funds on a weekend and maybe at night when the bank is closed. B.S.
The way they do their security is so bad I can't access my account. I call and reset my password and a week later I get a message that my password has expired. I tried to update it yet again but the system hung up and now I don't even know which password they think I have so I have to call them again. It's been this way for a couple of years and they have no desire to fix it.
Their 2 step verification for logging in is terrible the only way to verify you are you is with the authy app which I try to use and they have my old number from over 2 years ago in there even though I have changed my phone number multiple times in peroson in a branch location. Also the nightly glitch where your account balance isn't accurate after 5 or 6pm is annoying as can be. I'm closing my account because it has become more headache then its worth terrible bank terrible app!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
