Think Dirty

I REALLY want to love this app, BUT when I'm looking at face primer and click on "our picks" I expect alternatives NOT lotion, cleanser, mascara, and anything other than primer! Also, when scanning bar codes to check items like toothpaste, shampoo, hair gels, and such I am having to enter so much information & it definitely takes more than "just a minute" of my time. KEEP TRYING

Good idea, but not there yet. Subscribed because I wanted to be alerted to products that I could be allergic to, but I rarely get hits when I search for products. I tried adding them myself (which takes some time), but it seems to take weeks for them to be added to the data base. It would be OK if I could still add these manually to my shelf, but that is not possible. So I can't add everything I already own to the app in one go, and (too) often I can't look up a new product I am interested in.

One of my favorite apps! I use it atleast once a week sometimes more!! It's very useful on finding good natural products. The only thing I don't like is that some ingredients aren't always listed that are on the product so I always have to check to make sure and I feel like I end up looking like a crazy lady standing on the store scanning a bottle lol but other than that it's amazing. I love that you can search for things that are natural to buy on the site as well 😊

I really like the app!! Areas for improvement: It would be great if they had a wider variety of items in their database. Also, when ppl submit items they don't have, it'd be great if they speed up the process of adding them to the database. Other options for places to buy products would be great!

I love the fact that this app is transparent without bringing or looking down upon other products, it just makes one become health conscious over what they put on their faces, what they use for cleaning, etc. So I'm enjoying it so far, although there are other products which I scanned, the app couldn't give me the information of the product I was scanning.

fabulous app!! it's quite annoying that the photo is instant for the barcode hahaha the biggest fallback in my opinion is that it doesn't read *all* barcodes. it would be convenient if it read the codes on MLM items, or didn't require a barcode at all.

Although the app doesn't have EVERY possible brand (yet), there's a lot of useful information about swapping less healthy items for healthier ones! The shopping links are also very helpful! I can find a good brand for just about every household/personal care product I use!

EDIT - Emailed the developer and app has been fixed! Wonderful support. Original - Doesn't work anymore unfortunately. Just opens up the initial load screen and never actually opens the app. Have tried reinstalling and no luck.

When it has a product's barcode in the app it works great and I love the idea of this service. When the issue below is resolved I will give 5 stars & would recommend this app to friends. My issue is that when I go to enter in a new barcode/product the app freezes and doesn't pull up my default android keyboard, doesn't allow the option to select or type in a different text box, and doesn't allow tapping a different menu in the app. Can only use the app after force quitting it in app manager.

App did not function well on my android device. Most of the barcodes I scanned didn't show up. When I tried to add the product to the database the app froze. Nothing was clickable other than rescanning the barcode. This includes the keyboard not popping up to type in the product name, the other options were not clickable and the app would freeze up. I cleared cache, tried both on and off wifi, restarted my phone and closed and opened the app again and it did not help. cool idea poor execution.

Great idea, but hardly any products were scannable. I entered in a few then got annoyed. No way would I pay for this service if I'm having to do all the leg work.

Disappointed to have purchased this app to avoid "free glutamate" (MSG type) ingredients, only to see that important ingredient information for these triggers i.e., "autolyzed" and "hydrolyzed," are left off of the App's ingredient list. Misleading on the part of the App, obviously looking to promote products that appear cleaner than they truly are. For those of us with ingredient sensitivities, it isn't worth it to pay. Just keep reading labels in stores, as clearly the middlemen misrepresent.

Every time I look for a product they don't have it. They have mostly popular brands even then it's hit and miss if they have all the products that brand carries. They have a option to submit a product but why should I have to do the work for them? Especially if I'm paying for a app?

I am glad I looked further into products being used throughout our house when it comes to hygeine & cleaning. Mother of 3 kids and I threw away/got rid of so much and started fresh with all clean and organic products! This app is extremely useful.

Gimmick!! This app collects tons of data and it is useless for user. You can search Google for the ingredients and find your self while giving less information to google. Not to mention you have buy subscription to access the free information.

After installing the app i opened it but not a single touch worked. Always the same result. No idea whether the app gets freeze or other technical problem. I can't even use it....

I downloaded and opened it. I just get the initial page. No idea how to work with it. I swiped up, down, left, right. Tried to tap the screen. Nothing happens. I have a Samsung A51.

Horrible, it seems YOU are doing the work for them I scanned a simple can of chicken noodle soup and THAT isn't even there so apparently their data base is non existent until consumers take pics send in all information on product at that time THAT product will b able to b scanned by anyone else to have Info .. deleting app

Love it, clear, concise, easy to use. Would help if we could scan a bar code of a product and then the app tell us that way

What a disappointing user experience. Scanned three typical household items from major international brands and it couldn't identify any of them.

I scan products in stores with this app and am shocked at how many products that appear to be safe have harmful ingredients. I highly recommend this app!

Not everything has a barcode. Scanned a few things, but nothing was in the app. Entered things manually, but the "capture image" for ingredients and description are always blurry and have to be entered manually. So it shows I haven't scanned it anything and doesn't give any information about the products submitted.

Doesn't work. Tried to scan at least 5 different products and it didn't find any of them. Also when you try to submit the item to their data base none of the option lets you enter any details. Would be a great app if it worked but I will be deleting this app.

Super easy theory, but I tried to scan a dozen products, and nothing was in the system. I tried bath and body works, sephora, nothing was loading. This app is complete bs and not worth the time or effort.

Super helpful and quick app that let's you see if a product is clean. I got a new popular moisturizer that I though was good but my face started breaking out. I used Think Dirty and found out it was an 8 on the clean scale! 😡

I think its pretty scummy to have to pay for information on which products have dangerous ingredients or FDA recalls. Like I get you have to make money but that's not the best way.

I love this app! although in the future I would love an option of plastic free packaging as a search option!

Keeps says "Something went wrong...." even after uninstalling and reinstalling - for 2 days now :/ Didn't get to use it once!
