Thinking Cleaner
Once you have installed your Thinking Cleaner module on your Roomba, you can use the Thinking Cleaner app to configure your Thinking Cleaner and connect it to your Wifi network.
Thinking Cleaner lets you control your Roomba in different ways. You can start cleaning, dock or start spot cleaning from the dashboard. You can also direct-drive your Roomba, very handy for when it has ended up under that bed again!
Use the 'Find me' option to make your Roomba sing a song, this way you can find it easily if it ended up somewhere out of sight.
Thinking Cleaner can help you to make sure your house is always clean when you get back home, use the scheduling to schedule cleaning (even multiple cleaning sessions a day!). Also, you can set up Thinking Cleaner to start a cleaning session automatically when you leave your house.
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

This no longer works with never phones/OS
The setup process went fine but then the app never takes me to the dashboard. Instead it starts over with the setup again. I tried the iOS version and it works fine. Also, the hardware and APIs (I am using it with a home automation software) are working just fine. If you could just fix the Android version, I would give it a 5 stars.
Update 11/2017 Now I'm the Pixel 2 and still the same crashing I saw on the old version. I must use an iphone to configure or manage devices. 2.1.0 did not help. --Original Review-- On first launch it couldn't configure the network, I tried an iPhone and it worked flawlessly. Came back to the Nexus 5X and it crashes every time it launches. Also requires an reinstall of the entire app any time a new roomba is added to the account. (As of 2.1.0 you can't get passed the setup without crashing, so no worries about even attempting to add new roombas.)
One Plus 3 setup issues. After Setup the app does not open the dashboard, it starts setup again.
I get notifications but it won't let me control it. asks me to configure my roomba. been like this for over a month... horrible.
I went as far as becoming a beta tester for this app to try to make it work but still I'm sitting at home and the vacuuming starts. This is across 3 different phones. The app is sadly still very buggy.
WiFi disconnect and reconnect issues. If power outage WiFi reconnection is an issue
I'm on Android 7.0 and now it's working! I couldn't get past the setup initially but now everything is great.
COME ON UPDATE THE APP!!! YOU TOOK MY MONEY AND RAN! FIX IT! LAWSUIT WAITING TO HAPPEN HERE
Pretty cool device but recently stop working as if it can't connect to the server also cannot login to account from PC either please fix great product
The setup didn't work. I had to directly connect to the wifi on the device, and use my browser to access the ip address so I could perform the setup. I then had to clear cache and hard stop the app so that it would open without crashing. Works pretty good at this point. My only concern is that the scheduled geofencing hasn't been successful.
App seems to be buggy for Android. Was unable to setup my Roomba using the app interface. I had to use my phone to connect to the Wireless SSID on my Thinking Cleaner (it broadcasts). I then used my phone browser to connect to 192.168.1.3 I was then able to setup my wifi using the browser. Afterwards, I was able to start the app and everything worked. App still crashes on Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Lolipop occasionally. Hopefully a better android update comes out. Supposedly the setup on iPhone is streamlined better compared to Android.
Though it's a bit rough around the edges, it does get the job done as advertised. I was able to install the module on my roomba 790 and it works pretty well. Ran into a few hiccups along the way like not being able to use the app to join it to an open network with no password ( though I was able to connect to the config page directly and configure it manually ). Additionally, when toggling options on the notifications page, it only seems to save my selection about 25% of the time. Overall solid product.
Isn't working, set up but no status no control, clunky set up still can't get it to work. Needs better set up instructions in app setup. Needs better reset function. Using netgear router wndr3400v3, wpa2-PS
Excellent once you get through difficult setup.had to use windows web setup and connect to rooma wifi as android app wouldnt work.once this was done android app connected.works well in smartthings
Scheduling is easier but the clock is not set automatically... You have to change your time zone using the web app for some reason. In theory you can run the roomba remotely on another WiFi networks, but it hasn't worked for me yet.
No connection and setting up is not easy need help/support !
Tried on 2 devices. One crashes, the other completed setup, but the device shows null Edit: Now working fine on all devices and Vera.
Updated apps fixed many bugs on the android device. ( im sure on ios also) Scheduler is now ironed out and respond time from my celphone to server then to roomba is much faster.highly recommend to roomba owners. Now if ip cams can be added to the robot lol!
Seems to be entirely abandoned by developer. App is unable to reconnect to a previously set up Roomba. Just stuck looking for the device. Good concept, but expensive to just drop after purchase of the module.
The app connects to the Thinking Cleaner but once connected the app wont load the dashboard instead it restarts the setup process.
