Kids will have a blast navigating their Thinkrolls through a series of obstacles in brightly patterned mazes. Each chapter introduces a new object with unique physical properties which kids discover through hands-on manipulation. Little players encounter and use to their advantage force, acceleration, buoyancy, heat, elasticity and gravity to get their Thinkrolls where they need to go.
Thinkrolls has all the trappings of popular platformer and physics puzzlers, but it incorporates a wealth of educational content. It appeals to children’s natural curiosity and challenges them with gameplay that fosters creativity and out-of-the-box thinking. The 104 easy and 103 harder levels gradually build upon successive lessons to strengthen observation, reasoning, problem solving, spatial cognition and memory.
There's no failure here. As kids try different combinations to clear a path through the maze, they intuitively learn through trial and error what works. There's also a strong element of executive function. Kids must plan out their moves in advance, use precise timing and rely on their memory to reunite their Thinkroll buddies. Parents can virtually see the wheels spinning in their children’s heads as they orchestrate their moves.
CHAPTERS
Cookie
- Kids get accustomed to the fine motor skills needed to navigate the mazes as they munch cookies to clear a path.
Crate
- Any child who has pushed a chair up to the kitchen counter in order to reach the cookie jar will know what to do with the crates.
Balloon
- Buoyancy gets added to the mix as kids burst balloons on spikes.
Rock
- Kids get a crash course in Newtonian physics as they discover that dropping a heavy, dense boulder will generate enough force to break through cracked ground.
Jelly
- Bouncing on beds isn't necessary when there’s a springy jelly available to launch the Thinkroll out of valleys and up onto peaks.
Fire
- The crackling sound of flames will alert kids to a burning hazard ahead, but ice blocks put out the fire.
Elevator
- The culmination of everything kids have discovered and processed so far has them coordinating all the elements as they synchronize movements of two different elevators.

This game is great with my 2yo. Would be five stars but it doesn't support fullscreen immersive mode which is a huge problem because kids will hit the back button. Additionally needs to be more forgiving on swipes that start near but not exactly on the piece hitboxes.
The game is really entertaining, enjoyable and educational too but the downside is that your through the game so quickly and it costs 4€ but doesn't have a lot of levels: ( of it was half the price ok... But the next game 'thinkrolls2' is again 4€ and I don't know how many levels it has...
love this app! the grandchildren love the challenge of figuring out the way through the maze. they also challenge each other and/or work together to beat the puzzle. good learning tool and great fun!
I love that it gives the kids a chance to try a different solution in the spot, rather than losing a life and going back to the start of the round. This helps them to develop their problem solving skills
My son absolutely loves this game he plays with it on his iPad and now I have it on my phone for travel.
Great app brother obsessed he even say Rolly polly when he wants to play i played when ivwas younger too haha :)

Updating my review as the question I had was promptly and professionally resolved by the developers. We love this game and look forward to playing all the others made by you. I highly recommend this game, as it is not only a lot of fun and ridiculously cute, but also has the players practice strategy, planning, memory, executive and problem solving skills. Keep up the excellent work!
Great app for my kids 5 and 7. They have fun and I can see them working through problems.
Downloaded for my 4 year old she loves it. There aren't many good touchscreen games out there, particularly ones like this which are educating through basic logic in a platform environment. Excellent.
Now my 5 yr old daughter wants to play (learn) on this thoughtful app instead of starting at YouTube videos of kids playing with toys! You have done patents a great service!

On the easy setting, this is just the perfect difficulty for my four-year-old. Once he figured out how to get started, he didn't want to stop. When he gets to a puzzle he doesn't know how to solve, he thinks and experiments as opposed to giving up. The app is really polished and fun to play. I'm looking forward to seeing my eight-year-old play it on the hard level.
Adorable and intelligent problem-solving game. My 5 yr old finished the easy level pretty quickly and LOVED it! It builds in difficulty very smoothly, as it introduces complexity. I think my 2.5 yr old can also play this on the easy level as well. It is so polished, beautifully designed and probably great for an even old age group as well. Money WELL spent. LOVE IT! I want to play this one too!
This is one game she keeps returning to after playing one of those dressing or food making games and I don't mind it at all! Sometimes she gets frustrated but a little help stimulates her to keep going forward. They have kept it simple yet you need to use some foresight. The sounds, repeatability and cute icons keep egging her go at it again and again.
Love. Cutest game ever. My 3 year old plays it until I make him stop. He would play it all day. Simple and fun with challenges he can work through. Great sound effects and animation. Totally worth the purchase.

The best logic game for kids I've seen
Wonderfully polished and intelligently designed. Watching my autistic son work out the levels and ask for help when needed is a joy. Great sounds and character animation, eg. they look worriedly at the fire. It's sufficiently visually and sonically rewarding that along with the gradual increase in difficulty my son needs no encouragement to play properly.
A great game that encourages children to think logically in order to problem-solve for their little charters. Both my daughers love it! We've had think rolls for almost 4 years now and its been great. No technical problems with any phones or tablet over the years. And my youngest has one of those cheap o phones. Cute little circular cylinder all characters to collect and unlocked as they go through more challenging levels. The other think rolls apps are good too but this has been the favorite.
