Something isn't working here. I downloaded and never got to the title sequence. I only had a black screen. Uninstalled the app, downloaded it again and had the same problem. Irritating especially because I like the other War of Mine game.
this wasn't as good as the original... it's add on content... but it forced me into the outcome which i did not like. i know the creators are trying to get the point across but i think it could have been one of the possible endings. i am still playing the original to this day. you guys should adapt this to apocalyptic world n make it into new game. i would pay to play!
Absolutely brilliant game with a shocking twist at the end. I thoroughly enjoyed playing this. It took me a few attempts to learn what everything does but once I got to grips with it I was hooked. The story is gripping and keeps you searching to find the truth and surviving alone is extremely hard so plan everything carefully. Amazing game I highly recommend you download this.
I'm sure the story is good you'll just be hard pressed to read any of it, the merchants are as greedy as it gets, trade everything and its still not enough, i can't stay alive long enough to find food for myself, and it seems like you have to wait the next day just to go somewhere, waste of time. Definitely a game I would love to play if it was a little more intuitive.
Able to fix the lag. Not as smooth as TWOM. Can incorporate into TWOM rather than an individual app. No sure the new one able to tap on the TWOM resources to make the app size smaller. Thanks.
The game is nice the problem is that at the beginning when i have to trade materials for meds for the daughter. i have traded everything and nothing was enough for the merchant to accept trade. When i searched it from walkthroughs from other players, it only took a few items to trade a medicine for, which i cannot do. I hate it when i get a bad ending from an unfair situation. I like the game mechanics but this bugs sets me off
WORSE THAN BASE GAME Story:Though I admit the ending is more shocking than expected,but all the dialogues and notes are nothing more than five minutes,so the story aren't long.And the game has no multiple endings(WTH!?) Gameplay:This game is much shorter than the base game,about10-14game days,compare to the 45 game days in the base game, so a lot of the crafting is excessive and awakard,you don't need Heater,distiller,defence and you have one character only,so the human management is missing too
At first, I thought there're some of stories here, with different characters. But nope, only one story and a bit short. And on this version, you only controling one character, when he sleeps, you don't know what to do. Much better if there're some characters like the original version. But this game worth to try.
It's super sad for already being a civilian war game- developers just had to pull even heavier feelings into it. This game made me want to cry- and I'm used to witnessing sad stuff but the dialogs made me soooo sad. Great way to really immersify yourself and become motivated with a specific purpose to actually try to survive in the game- for your baby is all that truly remains. Along with the options in the menu with upgrades where it describes "teach" - I couldn't finish the game. ;(
Played the original, loved that. This one is a singular short story (game days, about 21- finished in real life in about 3 sittings but could easily complete start to finish in 1). If you liked the original, you'll enjoy it. Free with Google Pass, but I'd have been content paying the $3 for it.
Great game that inherits all of the great aspects of the original game. I would love to give 5 stars for this expansion (like I did for the original game); however, the final story archievement cannot be unlocked, which is why I have to substract one point.
It's a great concept, great game, but making people pay $2, than only having 1 story to where you can only last 30 days if you dont find your kid, or 10 if you find out what happened. Ridiculous, I wish I could get a refund. I was really looking forward to it because the last game was amazing.
Please help! The game doesn't let me continue, after I died on day 17 it ask if I would like to start from the previous day, I press yes and it just loops. I keep getting "day 17" and "Adam died scavenging." After awhile it just kicks me off the game and makes me reboot the game.
It lags quite a lot and the character often stops moving, so it forces us to leave the game and restart the day to progress, but it happens almost everytime.
I think this version of the game can be boring if you don't have kids, and it's also really short. If you do, it will make you feel powerless, then it awakens your dark part to save your loved ones. This is an amazing game to empathize and think on what happens during wars from a totally different perspective. Thank you for this game.
Absolute waste of money. A single short story. If you dont focus on the story the war will end before you finish the objective, that leaves you to focus only on the objective, while working on your safe house is pointless and an absolute waste of time, considering you will keep getting robbed and a fk loads of your stuff will get stolen. You dont get any new characters or stories for finishing the story either. Dont waste your money, if you're curious just go ahead and watch it on youtube.
nice plot, but the story is to short.. don't expect a full survival game like the main one.. for the developer team, please make a This War of Mine sequel.. i loved the first one, n i've been playing it for hundreds of hour now.. a masterpice.. best of luck to you guys.
More great content, but it is a very short scenario. Grab it if you love the original and can accept the short game with a good storyline.
Original TWOM is great game I spent countless hours on. This one, however, takes about 1 hr to complete.... Disappointed as it's not worth the pennies. Spoiler alert! Don't waste your time Looting the snow :D
Good game. Not as re-playable as the original, though. Now that I've finished it I don't feel like there is a point in playing again...unless there are multiple endings. Are there?
Just like the original the only draw back 1 story line This war of mine is an excellent app those of us who love the original find this one easy to play. really is a good game, what makes it loose all the points is that is so short. i finished the first story in less than 2 hours and then discovered there is nothing else to the game. no replay value whatsoever since that story is not long enough to try different routes. this should be a dlc or include more stories to be worth it
