The game is based on the famous Chinese historical novel by Luo Guanzhong (about A.D. 1330 - 1400).

The head portrait of officers are pictures from the picture-story book "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" which are colored carefully by our artists. All interfaces of the game are designed in a typical Chinese style.
II. Governing mode easy to get started with:
Auto setting and operation of governing affairs allows players to manage various affairs easily and spend more time enjoying its other facets. Since it's a lord-playing game, players need only to pay attention to the capital by ordering prefects and make policies to govern non-captical cities automatically and giving them commands when necessary.

Over 1,300 officers are available (including those recorded in historical books and novels).
Officers' abilties are distinguished in detail.

IV. The turn-based battle mode requires careful planning in deploying troops
Weather, landforms and even the height of the battlefield will influence any battles in the game.
Field battles and siege battles are presented differently. There are various siege vehicles for players to storm castles and also defending their own castles.
The troops formation system adds more interest to battles. Different arms with different formations have different enhancement effects.

Terrible English translation, riddled with typos and awkward grammar. Probably a very complex strategy game, but there are no tooltips to help you learn it, just a badly written tutorial explaining the bare basics. Utter waste of money. IN RESPONSE TO DEVELOPER RESPONSE: I can send an email to the address you've got listed here. The biggest problems are a lack of helpful tooltips and a very poor translation.
I think, honestly, this is one of the best single player strategy game on mobile. I do have some ideas that could be improved on in game depth. One of them would be the lack of number quantification of many aspects in the game. How many gold or wheat would be improved compared to the farming/commerce development? The stats for the children in the academic? Maybe after studying for some times the numeric stats should appear? Also the soldiers ATK effect compared to the number of troops?
I'm still waiting for the scenario maker, just add it already. If you're worried about the size of the apk i don't really care, phones today are getting better and have a lot more storage everyday i downloaded some games way bigger size than this game, and i know you want to make it that it support budget phones, but as one of the player who liked to create stuff i cant just ignore the fact that feature exist in pc. You can't keep this up forever.
Im happy with the game, also i like the family tree and succession, but the problem is the tutorial is very decent and limited, maybe you should focused on tutorial and bug fixs first, and thats my suggestion :) i hope you read this reviews
Came back its improved. But the translation is bad even from the very beginning. "Whether to start tutorial?" Want to start tutorial? Tutorial, yes or no? Play with tutorial? Theres a dozen ways to phrase the question but you guys did it completely wrong lmfao. But english is better i can actually sort of follow along now. Still needs a ton of work though its very not good
I love this game. Please add more details like export and import with another factions etc. Add more details for generals and city's. Thank you for making this wonderful game. Good luck 👍🏻
Need you fix or add 1. Auto battle can be switch to manual 2. You add create item but you don't add input item at create officer 3. Develop can auto calculate when change it don't need to remove all then input again (when gold run out) 4. Can do release char from captain 5. If just send resource don't auto release from council or academy else if i check to make them stay at that city.
I'v used to play this game and now i reinstall it, but why i must to paid the extra content "treasure editor" again?, i already bought it before, why it's said i must pay again for it? Is this scam or something?
The gameplay is nice. In fact, everything is good, except that it crash easily, especially after you spent considerable time and effort to conquer the city, then it crashed and everything start over again. And it cannot be saved during conquering city. So, if this keeps happening no matter how nice is the game it is equal to useless because you cannot play it.
I hope to raise my rating, but not having played anything even close to this, I am completely at a loss as to how I play! I just sort of fumble around tapping this and that, but a written manual, guide, cheat sheet, extra., would be great. The only manual I could find was Chinese (which I ran through a translator, but it is still gobbledygook).
For ages, I've been looking for what turned out to be this exact game. Civilization 3 and Rome: Total War are almost ex-girlfriends to me and The Last Warlord pulls me in as much as they did. The dedication these people are continuously putting into the game and the level of intricacy fill me with awe. Takes some time to get the hang of, but that time and effort are well invested. It's been a while since I played, but it looks like it's been improved upon constantly. Can't wait to dive back in.
I like the game. Only thing I wish it had would be historic events that occur during the gameplay, other than that thoroughly enjoy the challenging and variation gameplay available. On top of it, if you are finding the game a little to to challenging you can create characters to plant in your forces to help you get that little edge you might need.
The game has good bones, but needs some adjustments to be really good. One thing I'm thinking about right now is the really weak city develop interface. Its way too slow now to develop the cities after the latest update, and it really hurts the gameplay. Please put it back to where it was! Update: more balanced now, thank you!
Game keeps crashing. At first it would only crash when I sold certain items like the ore. So I decided I won't sell any ore. Then it just starts crashing while the turns are processing. So I just load and try again till it processes the turn without crashing. Now.. it just keeps crashing no matter how many I load the game. Crash after crash after crash.. Its a good game but not worth the time restarting the game over and over again. Just got it today and it crashed probably about over 50 times..
Love the game very much! It's very disappointing that the AI difficulty is horrible. Also there are no tool tips for officers special skills while in battle. Another issue is the tutorial does not cover transportation of resources and troops. There is a lot of work to be done but overall it's a great game.
Great mobile version and competitor to KOEI Sanguo games. Would be 4 stars but still needs polish and UI improvements. There are some untranslated portions here and there but not entirely gamebreaking. Badly needs an English Manual especially when it comes to the use/effect of abilities. Some possible User Interface improvement suggestions: I) Easier way to search for cities mentioned in event text (or if by clicking pops up minimap with city highlighted) II) Method to "shortlist" generals. Sometimes I want to "train up" certain generals but it is hard to remember who, or troublesome to scroll. If we could "favourite" so they appear at the top of Affairs list, it would be great. III) Unable to easily see which Generals have "features" which require deeds to unlock IV) Unable to easily see which Generals have high rapport with each other.
Game is unbelievably gorgeous but very complicated.! Too much for me, I really wanted to love it, 🥺
I want to like the game. It improves some aspect of the KOEI ROTK game that I was fond of in the past. Thank you for bringing it to a new modern platform. I have two major gripes on the game. First, it's clear the game is intended for PC due to the small fonts and small buttons. Two, the card debate thing is downright stupid and offer no reason to be included in the game other than to see Zhuge Liang can lose to a low level general. Fix the debate or remove it. It adds nothing and is tedious.
A GREAT ACTUAL mobile three kingdoms app with no BS micro transactions and feels like the streamlined ROTK games. Unfortunately it CONSTANTLY freezes, usually by ending your turn, or randomly during battle. Happens very frequently during battle, to the point of unplayable, which is a shame cause I see the love put in the app. Really hope this gets patched up.
**UPDATE** Even with a tutorial, overly complicated. I sat through a long tutorial explaining many, many options and started a new game, now I was taught so many things at once, I cannot remember them all. Tutorial should be during gameplay to get you started. Not interactive testing then reset you, expecting you to remember so many tiny micromanaging options. I wish I had never bought this.
I have A little exposure to SRPG. First time playing this style of game though. It seems complicated but I figured out how to do some basic stuff... A lot is still confusing to me. I avoid some of the game's features/functions/mechanics because of this... Despite that, spending time with the game...I enjoy it very much. Pretty fun once you know how to play a little. If possible, please add google play achievements. EDIT: Also what about google play cloud save? So we don't lose it. Thank you :)
I've read the reviews and have high hopes for this game (downloading it as I'm writing this review). I hate P2W and I'm always open to supporting great sounding games like this one. Plus it's ROTK, who doesn't love that storyline. However, I'll update when I put some hours into the gameplay. Issues: 1. When I go to options and try to change some of the settings the game crashes.-I found a workaround. Once you choose your scenario you can change your graphics and msg speed without the game crash
I bought this game when it was on sale and I'm regretting I didn't pay full price to support the devs even more. The game is just a masterpiece with so many features and depth and the best of all is that is one time purchase to unlock the full game no paywalls and microtransactions. Generally very happy the four stars are because there is not a full tutorial in this game and I'm really struggling to learn the mechanics of the game. Once the tutorial is done I will gladly change to 5 stars.
Treasure editor cheat i buy ok but i too lazy to edit and play. The battle system city seige is still very lame how i wish it like the koei from old school battle style, ps1 and ps2 romance of the three kingdom koei city seige with a city with 2 to 4 gate, a palace at middle. How nostalgic.
First time to play this epic game in PS 1. Until technology changes... available in Mobile..nice Mark 5. One thing, please change the profiles of the characters, to the realistic, like Lu But, his original.
This game has way too many glitches and issues. Horrible.
Rotk vets consider this as a home in mobile gaming; Full of features which builds up the flavor of the game and the art style is great. Players new to this type of strategy game or new to strategy games at all would have a hard time to grasp the basic means to maintain a smooth experience as it lacks a thorough tutorial, which I recommend would focus on how to stabilize internal affairs such as the economy and employed officers. Once the two issues are addressed, this game is 5-star worthy!
Keep it up . This game is still better than many other 3 kingdoms games.
Decent game but the battle options need to be clearer; a guide would help. For example, you can fall into a trap during battle very early on and just be incapacitated for the ENTIRE BATTLE. There are no obvious/visible options to recover from simple traps like that and it really ruins the experience.
Online game where it now wants more money. I bought an offline, 1 time purchase that has turned into a very different game. Really it's a bate and switch. May I suggest downloading one of the free Three Kingdom Games instead. Rather than fixing the problem they will blame Google and are very greedy with their updates. I will not be purchasing anything from this developer again.
