its got a good design. the concept is excellent, but the execution is lacking. im incapable of playing the actual game. i can play high demand games on my device, so that is not the issue. the movement and camera panning needs to be smoothed out. if this changes, ill change my rating.
It is a good game, in general. There have few places to explore (aside volcano & deserted as in app purchase), numbers of animals to hunt and landscape is pretty. I hope there's more animal, resources and place to add. But to the cons, there still a challenge to move my character smooth, collect water not working most of time and ores melting need to perform 1 by 1. Hence, there still have a room for improvement like add more craft recipes, conduct farming features and taming animals.
It's a very good game...but my problem remains to be resource income. Like I can keep up with logs and rocks as well with blueberries and strawberries but with iron and coal is so much harder to camp areas with large rock deposits. An idea: Make coal and other minerals into their own veins to be discovered. Maybe add more animals and minerals?? I'm running out of things to do other than keep upgrading my home. Also, if you can, possibly do something like minecraft?? Thank you for a good game!!
Update: Fixes needed. *Controls - normalize walking movement. *Interaction with doors. Person gets stuck between the door.Inventory, Change to slide across search as it seems unnecessary to manually open the inventory continuously just to move items to the top boxes in order to use them.Lagging is evident. Not alot but does happen.Slow to detect change of items.Animals get stuck under the building. Cant punch while stuck with tool. App crashes when person dies, then a restart of app is needed.
This is a good game. It has lots of promise. As I'm currently playing the free version I can say it can be pretty buggy. I die and have to restart because my screen freezes, or I go in a cave and my screen freezes, forcing me to restart. Just to name two. The running controls are also very awkward for me. But other than that, I do enjoy playing the game now and then.
I rate it 4 star because I like the game graphics but bugs it's completely ruined it. Like the game when the you sleep it's always the screen black and I ending up close the game and playing it again. When you like to craft like pickaxe and other stuff sometimes it the time run-out and take the item they sometimes nothing in the inventory. I like it and I love it but request to fix the bugs at the game please. And you need advance for the game for the future I please to help. just text me.
I only have 1 complaint. Can you please move the map button somewhere else. Beside the stats bars would be a good spot out of the way. I accidentally press the map all the time as I'm trying to move. It's very annoying. Other than that, great game.
I absolutely love this game and would have rated it a 5, but the game lags too much...have to restart the game every time I try to enter caves, or respawn...the constant stopping and starting kinda ruins it for me...could you please try and fix that? I have the paid version, but still the lags drive me nuts...
I played this for a while just curious and devices I liked it... with that being said I bought the game thinking it would change like the description said it would be but nothing changed, no seasons no weather, no new animals, no new islands and when I got the canoe which is the only thing that was added after buying it I used the canoe to paddle to what I thought was another island but the game glitched and I lost everything, with over 500,000+ buyers that should be fixed
Any game that immediately wants access to all my phone data (photos, media, etc) and requires my email in order to play (cannot play as a guest, you must give your email so they can spam mail you for life), not to mention 2 ads before you can even play immediately gets deleted and a bad review. I have zero logged minutes as it is impossible to play without giving them access to your entire privacy.
Open world,but no gameplay guide. Have no ideal on how to collect resources. Have no ideal on how to build or anything else. Controls are not really responsive most likely because of no help on how to play. Put a guide for gameplay and will give more stars.
Lots of potential, can see it being similar to Minecraft. Still glitchy on respawning, and crafting options are limited. Went ahead and purchased it to support further development. Keep it up!
This game used to be awsome when I played it on my Samsung Pocket. But now... I don't even know what to say about the horrible changes, the game has become trash. So I plead to the devs pls bring back the 6 year back version of thrive island back or something similar to that I'm sure that will make everything better
Rating going from 5 to 1 because what use to be a good game has now been ruined and turned to garbage iv paid them in the past when full game was free and had no ads but now you have to pay to get access to almost nothing and now you get tons and tons of ads even after the purchase of the useless "full version" I hope who ever made all the garbage changes gets fired bin playing for years but now uninstalling until company goes broke and goes to someone that will remove all the newer updates
Looked really fun but it lags way to hard for me to be able to even play it. If this can be fixed somewhere down the line I will download it again and give it another try when that is fixed.
Well best, but I would like to suggest about the control, can you put some joystick or arrows to indicate the movement, so it would be easy
This game is bad. The graphics are bad and the game and surroundings look plane. It also lags alot and doesn't move to whee I want the character to go. This is an the immediate uninstall.
Basically I like this game, but as soon as I exit the bear cave, I again start at the point where game began. So after collecting minerals and all, I exit the cave, and now I'm at the first Island and need to run all the way to the cave. Same happens when I die or after falling asleep. Reply me once it's fixed.
VERY poor game!! The controls are just awful. All I was doing for the first 10 minutes was walking aimlessly in a desolate field. So pointless.
Game isn't anywhere near as smooth as the Photos make out; It's slow, It needs a Lot Of Work. Make it controller comparable make the characters animation somewhat realistic I feel like I'm walking a cerebral pauze around...
I have already paid for the full version of this game! Now it's asking for me to pay again for the full version!!! I have been playing this game for a few years now and I have always wished that it would improve. Sadly this is the final straw for me. Please refund my money!!! I will NOT PAY AGAIN!
The game is black screen there is absolutely nothing its black screen as soon as i created a new game and the game is on. Its just black i can only hear the sound like jumping and punching my phone is Vivo y91 c

I've been playing this for a while, to the point that I bought the full game. After 2 days, this app is stuck loading the menu. Now I have tried to uninstall and reinstall it. But I'm not sure how I can restore my purchase. I won't buy it again, definitely.
Love the game but couldn't play. It is black nothing is there and it would be great if we could login easily rather than giving lot of information about yourself
Good basic survival game. Has option for survival or creative mode. Graphics are okay but need refinement. Functions are clumsy but work. Animals are easy to kill. Gathering is easy. I've built a large two-story house, have stairs and storage crates, a firepit, and basic equipment. Need better placement for sleeping -- when I sleep in my bed, I wake up several hundreds yards away from my house. That needs to be changed so I can wake up where I sleep.
