Been with out a vehicle for over 2 years and thankful to have this check depositing convenience. Still liking this app in 2022.
App works very well, with thoughtful details like the ability to view your balance from the sign-in screen, quick links from any screen to often-used functions, and very easy to use mobile deposit! We just switched to TFCU and it is a vastly better experience all around than PNC.
Easy to use but often it won't accept the picture of the back no matter what I do, and I end up having to deposit my check at a bank which is such a hassle.
Taking pictures for mobile deposits is a challenge. App is easy to use otherwise.
The app is OK, however when you get all done paying a bill,it spits it back at you (can't review try later 2 min later it goes through). Also on the deposit part, I usually have to take the back of the check a few times before it goes through.
app works most of the time. I've needed to uninstall and reinstall it in order to make it work in the past. it would be INCREDIBLY CONVENIENT if the developers could incorporate the move money external transfer features available on the TCU website into the app.
App is generally good. I agree with the people who say the photo capture for check deposit is a little quirky. I also think we should be able to pay off lines of credit and/or loans without having to make a phone call.
I only use this app to make deposits. It is very buggy as it often kicks you out of the app when you take a picture of the check. You will have to log back in and try it again. Sometimes it works - will take the picture and process the deposit. Other times you just have to close the app and try again another day.
Nice but still missing some options, like more description of the transaction vs just date, time and amount. My other bank app would include more vendor details so I could research the transaction better. Otherwise very fine app.

Even with the minor malfunctions here and there the app is 99% reliable and if there is any glitch you can reach customer service with the institution very easily and I am 100% appreciative and pleased with this Credit Union after years of trying local large franchise Banks and constantly being robbed for secret fees and access to funds given to other institutions that should have never been able to access my money, specifically regions and First Tennessee and Bank of America
Great app, puts everything you need in one place for managing your accounts. Very intuitive and user friendly once you get it set up.
Setup is painful, but it works ok once setup.
Absolutely perfect!! And if I do have a question, the customer service is prompt, clear, very knowledgeable, and super duper sweet and nice.
Basic banking is simple, but the menu for achieving anything beyond that requires guessing at the category and isn't always intuitive.
I am new to depositing checks using my phone. This app makes it so easy to do, plus it saves time and fuel costs to drive to the credit union inside of Thrivent home office. Thank you!
Was trying to deposit a check, endorse the back as instructed, took 15 different pictures on a dark wood kitchen table background and the app would not register the photo correctly. Had to put down a magazine for the check to lay on before it would register the image.
The mobile check deposit is the most frustrating thing ever... Doesn't recognize the signature on the back... Eventually give up after many attempts. Please fix this!!
This app is very reliable. When you're able to setup transfers to and from external accounts it will get 5 stars from me.
One of the main things I use it for, depositing checks, is very buggy. I often have to take the images repeatedly and sometimes just try again the next day
Never a problem. There used to be an interface problem but the latest update fixed it. Very happy with this app!
The photo program does not work easily. it often takes me 3 or 4 tries to get the program to accept my picture. Other bank programs work easier.
very easy to use! I deposit checks with my phone. The company is great to work with, they were very helpful and nice in helping me set up my account!
Took awhile to properly install and get working with check deposit, now works well. Now after a year and half still love the app, great for all my banking
Taking pics of checks is difficult and takes much longer than other programs. Even when the check is centered in the frame the photo frequently cuts off one end of the check. Waiting for the auto feature is confusing. . . can't tell if framing is off or if lighting is bad, ect.
