Through the Word App

Reset my entire progress! I LOVE the content, no complaints with that at all, so it's hard giving it a poor rating. But can you imagine listening for months, 100% on the reading plans to then just the intro at 0% I don't know why I was logged out when it normally keeps logged in and just welcomes me back. I logged back in with the same information/ email and poof! Anyway, I'm still listening because Kris Langham is fantastic. But it was disappointing. Let's blame the devil.

Hey guys, love your app. Just one little problem, the audio doesn't allow play after leaving the app and going back in. Have to go to the passage side, refresh or change translation, go back to audio, and try to play it. Even when I close the app it still doesn't allow me to play audio. 😔

My husband and I LOVE this App!! We have been through Acts & the rest of the New Testament with Through the Word, and we are now in Genesis. It is a great way to have devotions as a family. The chapter by chapter teachings are solid, easy to understand, and biblically based. We cannot recommend this App highly enough! It is a blessing and a God-send.

Signed up & go straight to the notification settings. The screen goes blank & have to restart my phone each time I change something just in the notifications section alone. Won't use the app if right away I am having issues.

Amazing app. The first time I picked up my Bible I decided to read Revelation. I had no idea what anything meant and became discouraged. It was a long time before I picked up my Bible again. I wished this app had existed then. I just went through Revelation and they made it so easy to understand. It is designed to listen to a 7-12 minute audio clip and do some Bible reading each day...but I loved it so much that I did them all in just a week. I'm starting Daniel today and can't wait.

My experience with TTW has been an enlightening one. This app goes through the Bible one chapter at a time. With this app you get an in-depth understanding of the Word of God. It offers a convenient way of studying the Word and make things much clearer. In roughly 10 mins of listening you get a different perspective on how you may have understood the Word. This app makes the Bible come to life and helps you apply it to your own walk with God. Personally, it has changed the way I read the Bible!

Incredible app! I absolutely love it and every day on my commute to work and back I listen. Thanks so much Kris and team, for putting all of this together what a difference it's made in my life I can only imagine how many others feel the same way. God bless you all in ways only he see's fit.

Exactly what you would want as a Bible reading/daily devotional app. Unlike most other ones, this one really takes you through the Bible a chapter at a time and grounds you in the context of the passage and it's meaning, whereas other apps tend to have a teachers message using Bible verses to support that message. It has a really good introduction for using the app and it's easy to use too. Thanks for making such a great app! I can't believe I haven't seen this app sooner

This application (the content, actually) really help me to be more consistent to read the Bible everyday and I'm so happy that you guys can deliver it with a fun way. And it's genius that you can flexible added some short message before users can continuing their journey. Things that can be improved, the calculation of the percentage when finished/still in progress. I think the calculation can be more accurate. Thank you team & God bless!

Great bible studying and reading app. Great that each chapter has an introduction giving insight and context of what the Scripture was talking about followed by the actual scripture. It illuminates the whole experience

I am getting older and my eye sight isn't as good as it used to be, so this app allows me to listen and enjoy the reading of God's word to me. I also enjoy the explanations of each study. This helps me to understand and obey what God is telling me to do in my walk with Him. Thank you for your dedication through the word team, I truly appreciate all you do. Very cool. l love it. A very novel approach to consuming the Word of God. l already have a dramatised version of the KJV. Thanks for making it interesting, exciting and being very enthusiastic about it. God bless you and your amazing team.

I've been listening for a bit and really enjoying the content and the way it's presented. The explanations chapter by chapter or so informative. I'm really enjoying this app.

This app has changed my life on how I read and comprehend scripture. If you struggle with comprehension when it comes to certain parts of the Bible especially OT this is the app for you ...

I love this app and the pastors! My only issue is that the B sides are not working for me and it will crash. Leaving me frustrated wanting it to work.

I enjoy the Bible teaching. Some small bugs in the app, but fixable. Enjoying more in depth study of the Books of the Bible! Praise God!

I'm SHUT out, and I have entered password, and I used Forgot password, and it still doesn't accept the NEW PASSWORD, NOR the old. I sent an email on 3/27/2022, and STILL NO REPLY. SOO Im going to UNINSTALL and reinstall to see if that help.

The app is really awesome. It really keeps me in the word and makes reading the bible interesting. However the app freezes a lot. If the phone goes to sleep the app stops and will not play. I have to restart my phone to get it to play.

Awesome! Now I can download the plans. I had problems listening before because the audio stops midway. Thank you so much. The audios are such a great help and the app continues to improve.

First, I love this app. The discussions and each chapter is broken down so everyone can understand the Bible. I have enjoyed it and been blessed so much. The only major issue I have is they say we can download for offline use. However the only reason I am giving the app a 3 star review is because every time I have been offline it automatically starts at the sign in screen and not allowing me to access offline downloads. Other than that it's a great app to learn about the Bible.

I'm above all hills in love with this app the moment I listen to the pastor's lectures. It's totally the Bible app I've been looking for to grow stronger in faith. The only issue I got with the app is that when I downloaded the lectures offline and went back to my phone menu the lectures are lost. I'm giving this app a 5- star review, anyway, and surely sharing it with my family and friends.

A friend told me about this app and it has changed my life. I've been a believer all my life but never did a good job of reading the Bible or understanding it. Now I look forward to getting into the Word every day because of how each chapter, each verse, is explained simply. The Word has come alive for me and I praise God for this. I have told many about this app and some are experiencing the same JOY. Asked a friend if she wanted to study the Bible with me, we are now sojourners together. ❤️

I enjoy the readings by Pastor Kris and friends. The commentaries are great and informative. One thing that I have a big issue with is that there is no way to connect with TTW through the app. Finding their website is hard, and when you do the captcha in the website doesn't work correctly so I have been unable to donate or submit questions.

I have installed & uninstalled this app numerous times trying to get it to work. I am unable to sign in. I would love to use this app but I am unable to do so :(

For those of you who want to start a daily Bible reading habit for this new year or want to check out a new Bible App, I would highly recommend the Through The Word (TTW) App or podcast. This app has several amazingly gifted Pastor's who will explain each chapter of the Bible before you actually read or listen to the chapter in the Bible. They also have some awesome Bible Journeys. These guys even make the book of Leviticus fun to study.

Love this App as a new Christian i found the bible quite overwhelming. This really breaks it down into simple language that i can understand. I find the app easy to navigate and i love listening to the man who reads the bible. Such a soothing tone. Highly recommended if you struggle to understand the simple message or struggle to find time to study.

This is my favorite app for learning the Bible. They guide you through the Bible chapter by chapter with so much knowledge, background and grace. So easy to listen to, great chemistry with some humor thrown in for humility. Thank you for all the hard work and devotion that went into this app.
