Easy to use, crisp interface, shows relevant information. A few bugs that needs attention, such as prices not reloading properly for the next hour period (unless you restart the app), real time readings (pulse P1) stopping when exiting/entering the app and that the real time reading resolution is not remembered on exit so you have to pinch like crazy every time you go to the real time reading view. Nothing too serious though, mind you, so all good! 👍
Works fine most of the time but especially during high prices the app struggles to keep up and fails to connect to their servers. This is even more annoying when you use the integration for your heaters and you cannot control them anymore. Another big minus for the Mill power up. It offers less features than the Mill app and you can't even set a specific night temperature. You have to rely on the "smart heating" to lower temperature at night. I will go back to use the Mill app for my heaters.
I think this app is brilliant....shows so much data so I can time my electricity usage to when it is cheaper....especially as I've just invested in an electric car!!
Since last 2 updates the app has been slow and not showing the correct energy prices and consumption.
In short, recommend it. It shows me a good breakdown of power usage and its great on immediate use. I miss an analysis of power consumption relative to geographical area, not just size of house. There are notifications like "the price is high tomorrow at 9", but there is no view of recent notifications in the app. Lately, the servers seem to have been overloaded which gives some weird error messages on the client. U expect that to improve.
Love the concept, but the overall performance and response time of the app is very disappointing and amateur-like. Smart charging feature is completely pointless in my case, since it takes 10-12 hours to charge my car, and often all I want is to just charge the car in the few hours it might be cheap. This is impossible since the app doesn't let you pick what percentage you want to charge to, nor a price threshold.
Not sure if it should be a 3 or a 4 but given a 4 as the functions are easy to use and installed a Pulse p1 where you get live info on power usage with all phases showing how many kwh you use per phase. Negatives are hard to get direct contact if sonething goes wrong but so far next day answer by mail...not good enough as consumers should be able to get help at least via chat..( nobody there seems to be all the time )..to get a 5 they need to increase availability to within an hour...hire more.
Awesome support och service! Love the app!
When it works it's a great app. But the "unexpected error" messages when loading the tiles is getting pretty annoying these days. And this is blocking me for seeing all the relevant information, hence the 3 stars. It's just so unstable. You guys get it stable and I will give it 5 stars.
like the app and service. love that they offer a free api so developers can do even more! Although, lately the app's connection to the backend has become very unstable, limiting the benefit of using Tibber.
Overall really good app to view and manage your relation with electrical consumption if you have Tibber as your supplier. I miss not being able to view graphs in landscape mode, and it would be great if I could give a read-only account to my family members so they could view the price/consumption stats.
UPDATED - Please use other (darker) text colours, light grey on white is not easy to read 😳 Sorry but you lost 2 stars, but you'll get them back when you make the change 😁 ORIGINAL - Easy to use and just as it should be 😊 I have tried to get myself through the jungle of el-suppliers and Tibber cut a wide and clear path. Got to recommend this to everyone!
As the other Petter described - I love the App and it's functionality but it's crashing all the time. Works for a few hours/half a day and crashes again. Error message is always "unexpected error...." with an OK button. Maybe you should add a "report problem" button? Review is based on 1 week use apprx. since 03.Nov. 2021 - with tibber pulse installed - on a Samsung Galaxy S20 5G phone with the latest android version installed.
Very nice app, intuitive and easy to use. I love the power-ups that allows the app connecting to and controlling my electric heaters, allowing to set comfort temperature in each room and not using electricity when price is on top. Tibber team: Keep up the good work!
The app is easy to use and well designed I feel. But by God is it buggy. Home dashboard links failing to load, analysis screen not showing anything. And low responsiveness of the app in general. If these obvious bugs could be sorted the app would be golden
App has been working very well for years, but recently there have been unexpected errors way too often. Backend is obviously not able to keep up with the increase in requests because of the unusually high spot prices. In this day and age, scalability on this level shouldn't be an issue.
Very good app - and service! The only con I have is that the Android app uses quite some time to refresh data when opening the app. The apple app seems to be quite a lot faster. Keep up the good work 😊
Very simple and clean interfaces for devices and analyses. Well done! My only minor feature request would be to make the graphs nicer with regular major and minor units on the axes. Nice work, though!
The app worked fine for about a month, then started to glitch. Would not load at all, just blinking trying to start up. Uninstalled, then installed again, same problem. Liked it when using it, but the app should not be so buggy.
Super buggy. Only works about half of the time. Home screen sometimes fails to load. Some times it's just the real time view. Utterly frustrating.
Very good. I managed to lower my electricity bill by half. The only thing I did is to look when the price is low and plan my consumption after that( washing/drying). Nice integration with other smart systems. I'm now thinking about to buy solar panels and in the near future maybe EV. Good support to. Usually get answer quite fast. Keep up the good work!:)
Good start to know more about your personal electrical consumption. It lacks a bit in functionality, especially for longer time periods, which would help when identifying what appliance used how much power. Now you can only see live data for a few minutes. This should be longer to be of any real use. When comparing your usage to others, I suspect the data is not regional. Atleast it should tell you who and where your consumption is compared to.
Excellent apps, recommended to all
Everything is working fine and the app delivers the expected functionality.
Really useful to se how much electricity you are using. Lots of features that you are able add to it to get way better overview. Not at least what it current costs. I was able to she where it was most costly for us, now I know what I have to do to use less energy for my house.
Clear, concise and a powerful tool. Scheduling features in cooperation with Sensibo were not quite up to par but overall all other nifty features overwhelmingly make up for any slight technical issue. Top notch and recommended!
