Ticklr - Ticker notifications

Loved this with my old phone and hoping it's still being supported. The scroll now happens right over the notification bar making it hard to read. It used to be under. Please fix it to move the scrolling text to where it's legible. Then 5 stars for sure. Ty

It was a good start to bringing back the scrolling notification bar but it doesn't have a solid color background so you are able to see your clock and signal bars behind the text making reading the ticklr notification impossible. It also lacks some of the great features like the ability to fast launch a reply to a received text by launching the texting app with a tap to the notification. Otherwise it seems stable but in its current state I'm uninstalling and looking elsewhere.

I removed this apps twice in a week. I install this apps on my Xiaomi Mi4C. First it seems working, and then I realized I have double types of notification, ticker and heads up. So I change the setting to stop peeking, which also causing the apps to silent mode. And then it stops working. I removed it for the first time. And then, the apps which I've change to not peek (before I removed), still silent after being removed. So I have to put it back, set the sounds on, and removed it again. I don't know why, seems just don't fit with my phone.

I missed the old style notification in android and although other apps do the ticker this masters them. Every app I use come through the ticker and I can easily turn Heads Up off. Sometimes doesn't have the app icon but not a big deal. Now if you could just find a way to integrate into Galaxy S7 AOD thsts be good.

Hasn't been updated in over a year, and now needs one. It looks pretty bad on Android 8.0 Oreo. Old review: My only complaint about pro is that the "automatic color" matches the notification's app. I wanted the notification to show the color of the app I am in. For example, if I'm on Facebook and I get a Gmail notification, the bar turns red. I don't want that. I want all notifications to be blue when I'm in Facebook, or all notifications to be red when I'm in Gmail. It works, but could be better. Maybe the devs could add this. Then pro would be worth it.

This app is excellent, brings back the ticker notifications from my old Samsung phone. The new heads up notifications are too distracting. One request id like to make is to have a setting to remove the app name being shown in the notification I cannot find that setting anywhere even with premium.

Works well when it does work, but I keep getting notifications even after I've dismissed them. For example, I have Hangouts on my computer and my phone. If I'm away and get a message, my phone gets a notification. If I respond to the message on my computer, the phone notification goes away... but if I turn on my phone later, it'll still insist on displaying the notification. Sometimes it'll even be a whole string of old notifications. Really annoying. It's still better than heads-up notifications, but I'll keep looking for another app (heads-off was perfect, until I upgraded Android versions!).

sometimes it hangs on the same notification, and that drains the battery. please fix, otherwise perfect.

Each notification comes up about ten times and it's very irritating. Other than that it works fine

Does anyone get multiple or double repeated notifications. It seems to keep running through all the notifications and won't go away till you have gone thorough each one.. Other the that great app!

The app does what it says, wonderful! If I have 10 alerts and the next 1 pops in, a barrage of tickr notifications are triggered

If I get more than 1 message from Textra, the notification will just say "x number of unread messages" instead of scrolling through the new message. Is there a setting to change that or is it something that you can add. Thanks

There seems to be an issue showing ticker updates with messenger unless the app is open (messenger). Only issue I've found so far. Keep up the good work

After upgrading to marshmallow it has stopped working, neither any instructions provided, sad

Opened the app. Used for 30 seconds. Came here to give 5 stars... Great app.. best alternative to heads up notifications and more productive method.

I'd always been annoyed by heads-up notifications but no other app I'd found prior to this had been able to perform kitkat's ticker notifications as well as this one has. Thanks for the great app!

So this app has been my saving grace, I was so sick of the headache each notification gave me when it covered half my screen. Only problem is with the samsung software update it stopped working!!! How do I fix it?

The best app ever . But on marsmallow you need to disable preview in pop up on the notification setting.

Brings back old ticker and so far so good. Quite reliable and stable. Might take more work to get it run the way you want it on Android M since it can't disable global heads up. Pro version costs too much IMO for an app like this and with very little feature added. Other apps I paid before costs about the same and do a hell lot more stuff. Other than that it is very good non-intrusive alternative for bringing back ticker notifications.

Has not been updated in over a year. Please update it! I've been using this app since I ditched my Galaxy S3. I would gladly pay a few dollars to get some extra features like setting a scroll speed.

Worked amazingly well on my one plus 3 but isn't working right on my pixel 2 XL. It won't draw over the status bar so it is impossible to read since my status bar and my ticklr notifications are jumbled together. PLEASE fix!!!

Live the idea... But Crashes multiple times a day

Shows every single notification on WhatsApp. If I have 300 messages, it'll scroll through every single one of them.
