The app helps me quickly fire off ideas and organize them into different categories better then any other tool I've used. These ideas then become projects with to-dos baked inside of them. I can't help but reach for it whenever inspiration arises. However, nothing is perfect, leaving room for improvement. A Gant chart would complete my experience and add real value to the product.
Pretty good app to take notes and lists, +1 for the smart Snooze feature. However it's disappointing that there's no reliable way of backing up all your data, even with Premium. The only option is to log in using a browser and manually export a backup, but an automated scheduled export within the app would be way better.
So as far as to-do lists are concerned, this is (imo) the best you can have. The free version in and of itself is so good with it's tasks and subtasks and reminders etc. The paid version gives you a calendar which is very intuitive and simple. The only problem I have with tick tick is that I want instant syncing. So instant that when I tick off a task in the phone, it should instantly reflect in the pc. And for some inexplicable reason, that's not there yet.
Amazing! Best app that syncs with my calendar. Easy to use and understand. Now feature is great. Scheduling with tasks and quick reminders with a simplistic design. Honestly, I can't recommend this app enough. I've been using it for 3 months now and am using it continually. After one week I went premium and I know I don't need to search anymore. I've found the productivity so I've been looking for!
Great and useful reminder app! Only thing missing I feel, when it comes to the widget, is the ability to have it automatically change from dark mode to white based on the time of day. All the rest of my homescreen widgets already do this, so it's kinda annoying to have to change the color every time to match with the rest of my widgets.
This app really has helped me with keeping abreast and organised with my tasks and to do list. The predictive text does become an issue when you are putting a date or day within your description field, it assumes and incorrectly pulls it through to the actual Date of the task which becomes quite annoying and time consuming having to work around - I hope the developers of this app read this and sort it out. Other than this issue I think the app is very helpfull & useful!
I had previous mentioned a glitch in the wedgit, it's been 5 months and was told that a team was working on the glitch. So far there has been no improvement. It's a good app without appropriate maintenance hence the bad review. This is update on the previous review (1*). The app has gotten way better, lots of integrations and quick features. There's is always room for improvement but bottom line is it's a great app and I highly recommend it.
This is one of the best Task Apps out there and I use it everyday. Having said that, I really would like to have the reminders on my Android Watch. I have sent messages to TickTick help centre to ask about this on several occasions but no-one has ever got back to me. There are plenty of other apps that have Android Wear capability so it is not unique or unheard of. Having this feature would, in my opinion, make TickTick perfect.
I used TickTick for a pretty long time before subscribing to the premium account. Both is worth trying as it gives you a lot of options to organize your notes. It also gives you the possibilty to set reminders and habits which is really really helpful and they managed to make it light and exciting.. since establishing habits can be difficult sometimes. I would definitely recommend trying it.
I love everything about this app EXCEPT...I would love to have the ability to use custom music / chose from a list of ambient music (white noise can be annoying). Play external music can cause me to miss the notification when the pomo ends. Having the music stop/starts is very useful however, I prefer music to white noise.
It has boosted my productivity 10 fold! I have Asperger's and a.d.d which means getting things complete is extremely difficult. Can't use Google calendar or any other apps, believe me I've tried. I can honestly say, with the newly addition of timeline view, if this app stays the same or only slightly improves, I can see myself using this for a very long time. Thank you for this, ticktick team. It has actually has alleviated my long term dysthymia, too.
This is the most useful app for real life as a habits maker and a planner! To developers. Please, do not hide 'Start focus' item at completed (for today) habit tasks. For example, I have the next habit: learn programming at least 30 minutes every day. But sometimes I feel desire to learn programming several times a day even when I already learned it more then 30 minutes. But I can't run stopwatch in the evening because the task was completed in the morning.
Fantastic. I cant really fault it at all. I am constantly amazed at the level of detail and simplicity at the same time. I moved an item to tomorrow and it asked me if I was sure as it had just gone midnight and I hadn't realised. I love the widgets on phone and windows, such detail to a good user experience. Like no other! The ONLY thing missing is an app for galaxy watch4, theres one for apple but not for Samsung or Google. Seems really odd and obvious chink in their armour, I mean range.
I use this for all my to-do lists, shopping lists, and all kinds of other lists and notes. I originally started using it when GTasks went out of support because it has a similar UI. A few things like list sections are not that easy to use but mostly it's quite intuitive, syncs across all my devices, and has all the scheduling, alerts, and priority setting that I need.
Paid version is probably great. I used this app years ago before it became cluttered with features I didn't use. Since my current reminder app became outdated I decided to give this one another shot. It looks like all the kinks have been worked out and it could be a great app, but I think some of the features you have to pay for and the ones that are free should be switched. For example, the monthly calendar is a paid option but weekly view is free. Also, you must pay for repeat reminders.
It's pretty impressive just how much I'm able to do with this app in terms of optimizing my planning and organizing. To me, it's very comprehensive. I'm able to organize my life into categories and from there into subcategories even. I'm also able to prioritize everything with ease. The two features I like most are it's intuitive functions when inputting data, especially when you can use symbols to indicate actions or details, and the habit tracker... where I can even customize affirmations.
I've been a loyal TickTick user for years. Over the last several months, my checklists will disappear. The main task is there, but every single check box for every single task is gone. Last time I submitted a ticket, they didn't know why it happened but suggested I upload a back up. Fine, except IT KEEPS HAPPENING. Doesn't matter what device I'm using. I've been singing your praises for years, but I can't trust an app that deletes my info repeatedly.
I have been a pro member for many years and absolutely love this app. I use it to collect my notes, plan my projects, assign tasks to a specific date, and schedule reminders. It integrates seamlessly with my Google calendar, allowing everything to be in one place. An excellent piece of software. 3/24/22-- Still love it.
Tried a few of these apps, this one seems to be the simplest and most logical to use whilst still having plenty of functionality. The reminders aren't always reliable despite playing with phone settings but this seems to be a problem with all the apps I have tried so is possibly an issue with my phone.
Super Helpful. Improved my work/life style by using this app. Need some minor bug fixes on closing 'task' alarms. Sometimes, the alarm may not close even though you press complete. You need to close the app completely to switch off the alarm. Thought it is not a pressing issue, it is good to be cleared.
I've been a Todoist user for the last several years and aside from the subscription for this app being cheaper, it is better in several aspects: 1. Has a calendar. 2. Better snooze functionality. 3. The ability to define a reminder as a note. So I've cancelled my Todoist subscription and am switching to this (it also has the ability to import from Todoist and other apps). It doesn't have any downsides that I can see compared to Todoist and is just better.
This app is honestly really good! I use it on a daily basis and it helps me with different parts of my every day life so that's great. One thing though: I'm a writer, and I sometimes jot down some extracts from my chapters in notes. So, I use the word counter a lot. Unfortunately, it is not reliable (it might count the number of characters instead of words, because the ratio is a little too high). I understand it is not a key feature though so I get why it hasn't already been fixed.
