Self Contained
This app does not use the internet to get its results. It performs its function purely by calculation. It will work on a phone or a tablet in or out of range of communications.
Quick Simple and Clean
Predictions are quick and the app is simple to use and understand. Gestures are supported for looking at the next and prior day tides. There are no ads and app cannot access phone features. The app is small (300 KB).
User Options
Controls for the user are provided by three action bar icons and four items in the settings menu. The action bar controls are Set Location, Set Date, and Refresh. The settings controls are Add Station to Favorites, GMap Station (internet), Change Color Scheme, and About Gestures.

It can be expected to match very closely to federally-published tide tables.
Designed for On The Spot Use
The tidal status presentation gives an immediate snapshot of the tide situation, along with a standard list of highs and lows.This app is designed for use while actively out and about along the waterfront.
200 Year Calendar
In addition to today's tides, a date picker is available to choose any date from 1901 to 2100. The app does not have to be refreshed on the new year.Regions and Stations. Just works, and well! One very minor request is to automatically refresh tide data after install, we had to hit the refresh button and then it was curtent.. Otherwise, very awesome! Our almost daily go-to for ocean fun. Kudos developer! No ads and offline use tickles us, too.
Nice app. Simple and easy to use. Really wish the California app could include currents as well like the Washington State app. No other app has both tide and current info with graphics, so that would be really nice

Remember when Play store had free apps without ads and ridiculous permissions? This guy does. Tide and moon charts, with no bs. I'd pay for version with a tide chart widget.

RECOMMENDED... tiny 1MB app works OFFLINE. Everyone near California coast should have this app on their phone ;-)

simple, was just what I needed
Very complete tool
Simple, easy to use. Please make a version for my iPad; theirs are ALL completely awful!!! I'm keeping my outdated Nexus7 primarily for this app. Since I live within hearing from the beach, it is REALLY useful, handy, and used! Thank you very much for your delightful app!

I have not said anything about this app. Till now. I live 3blocks from the ocean. This is the only free app that is consistently accurate. I love the custom settings. I have tried others.

Just what I need.
My favorite tide app for sailing and kayaking. Been using it for years. I tried a bunch of em. This one is simple easy to read, add free, small and bug free. I would also like to to see a map of the tide stations and current data in future versions. Thanks Lawrence!
