Not built to suit Dexcom cgm users who don't have apple phones or a separate receiver. NEEDS AN ANDROID UPLOAD OPTION or the ability to connect to an Australian Dexcom account. Both of which it doesn't have. The set up process sends you round and round in circles without clear troubleshooting info. Just the same unhelpful info over and over. So far haven't been able to use the app at all and it's been a total waste of time
Get with the times. I've got the Tandem app & Dexcom app on my phone, along with this Tidepool app, but to upload the data from those platforms into this one, I have to physically plug the Tandem pump & Dexcom receiver (the latter of which few people even own because it's essentially obsolete & not needed) with a USB cable to a computer. Seriously wtaf? Ain't nobody got time for that.
I feel the app should have a dashboard. You can not see patterns and averages. I think it is basically a "hot mess". I would rather just go through the hassle of inputting my readings in myself on another app so I can my comparisons, see averages (daily, weekly, monthly...) Diabetes is complicated and i don't need my app complicated, too.
Not the same as the website. This is just the uploader tool. If you're looking for an app version of the Tidepool site, you're out of luck. Uploads of data you manually input is not helpful. That's just fine data entry. I've gotta put it in my pump and CGM. This does nothing for me.
The app not working at all!!! No error, just "Unable to log in" Internet connection is good, i need it to work! All my data is there! And yes, i tried to change password a few time's, no success it, please help
Good Idea. An option to add photos of meals would be a great option. This is the missing link in total diabetes management.
Barely any actual functionality in the app and STILL forced to use one browser. It has been years and it doesn't look like this is going to change. I'm out.
Well, you can't upload tou data. This app is completely useless and I would advise people to not use it. Silly how they will only allow data syncing for iOS. Android is a far larger community.
Good product but can view only 7 hours previous data. The web app works much better which can integrets data from multiple machines including automatic input CGM data without login your Dexcom account every time. This Tidepool app can syncholoze the data in iPhone Health with the Web app. Very convenuant.
Cannot access on Android, even though the app is available in the Play store. Tried installing twice and only get a white screen, no login.
Expected the tidepool site in an app. got something more akin to a blank text widget, sadly. Guess the funding ran out, so development just stopped?
I maybe wrong but it seems to offer very little. I want to see all my logs, not 7 hours either side of a message.
No Uninstaller. Found I can connect to my Dexcom G6 Android and prefer to use Dexcom version on phone. Need to Uninstaller the app cant.
Suprisingly the website offers so much information and very well classified about the diabetic patient and this mobile app does only .1% of it...
Tidepool Mobile is for viewing and adding context to your data, from multiple devices into one report. Contrary to the review by Nate Moore, this is not the uploader tool, which is a software you install on your computer.
No mobile uploading? I have to upload data on the computer with their downloader, then analysis is done on the website. So what's the point of the app?
Why can't I see a daily/weekly/monthly summary from the app? Poor UI design.
Useless. It doesn't show me the same results on the website. I have to enter tags. Why???
I just want to see my data like the website version not add notes... Pretty useless really
You can't upload from an app called Uploader. I don't understand the point.
can't really figure it out
This app doesn't load up
This is just an app for notes, it doesn't help to manage your diabetes on your phone or anything, kind of useless for me.
doesn't have an "ok" or "cancel" button when editing the time. I can press where I think it will be, but there is no indicator. otherwise good app; does what it should.
I just downloaded it, so I can't say I have much experience with this app. But so far it's INCREDIBLE! This is the perfect app to help you see how Foods react it's 😄 perfect! for any type of diabetic! The only problem I am having is not with the app but with the client. While uploading, it says it cannot find my One Touch Verio IQ meter. I was having problems uploading my Dexcom but it seems to be working now.
