I have been using this for years and it is the most accurate and easy to use of all others I have tried. Their customer service was very helpful when I had to reinstall on a dated cell. They sent me the proper file to reinstall. Thanks You have helped me sail my 1932 Alden up and down the Mystic River.

Just installed this on Galaxy 10, with latest Android. Asks to turn off USB storage and disconnect from pc (I have neither). Clicking "OK" is all you can do, app doesn't start. Last update was in 2018, guessing it's not compatible anymore. Will revisit review once app is updated.

This is the only app I've found that does a good job of displaying both tides and currents in an accessible way. (I should know. I was the author of Tide Tool, the first app capable of computing tides and currents on a handheld device, in 1997.) When it didn't work at first on my new Galaxy S21, I tried a number of other apps. Some had fancier graphics; all had less information, lacked currents, and made it hard or impossible to get a prediction for an arbitrary time. I followed the suggestion made here to many reviewers, emailed the developers, and quickly got a link to a version that works on my S21. I wish the developers would do what's necessary to update the version in the play store, so Tides & Currents can resume getting the five star reviews that it deserves.

Flymap(tides and currents) is been my reliable app for tides as someone who works for the ocean. Easy interface and users friendly. 10/5 stars that you could use it offline. The app support team is also worth mentioning, kudos for helping me when I had an issue installing the app for my new phone.

Does not work - having same issue as everyone else. Their offered solution is to load the fixed version from somewhere that is not Google play - so I am concerned this may be a security issue. This is concerning. If they have a fixed version, why can't it be put back on Google play?

Won't start. Tells me to disconnect USB storage, which I'm not connected to anyway. Seems that everyone else has had the same problem for years. Really weird that they haven't fixed this issue!

I have used this app as recently as two months ago, BUT it doesn't work on my new (to me) Samsung Galaxy Orbit J3. It worked on my LG LTE something-or-other purchased 30 months ago. It would appear that the app has not been updated as far as the phone and ops-sys have.

Its still not working as it claims that I have USB connection error. And I am not the only one, it was a good app till they updated it. . Install TIDES app instead . They have clearly lost interest in this app and respect for you, the user.

Updated Review: previously had issues with USB error message. Got in touch with the developer, very helpful and supportive. Provided an install patch. All working again. Best app available.

Same USB issue here also that everyone reported. Seems like issue been around since 2018. Sad to see it still is not resolved. Don't even bother telling me to contact your support. I'll be trying some other app.

Cannot start. "Please turn off USB storage (disconnect from PC) before starting". Then it closes. App is not plugged in to anything. Unusable.

Very good and shows tides visually as wave which is far more useful than data! And it's free with no ads. Problem loading on new phone resolved quickly. Excellent.

Doesn't work since January 2019 update. Says turn off USB storage, i.e. disconnect from PC, but phone is not connected to anything, so can't use app anymore!!!

Graphical display of BOTH tide and current is very helpful. Glitch in update means T&C should be UNINSTALLED before updating if it won't display. Prompt email support!

Does not start. Same USB problem as many others. Also I wish they would say where it works. I'm in eastern Caribbean and currents are hard to come by.

Same error as everyone else on my Samsung S10. This APP should NOT be in the Google Play store. I don't want a patch from FlytoMap. That is not what I go to the Play Store for. Please remove this APP from Google Play.

Tides and currents app gave me an error message saying, please disconnect USB ( disconnect your phone from your laptop) My phone was not connected to my laptop. I tried twice and then uninstalled.

Upon launch, I get "Please turn off USB storage (disconnect your phone from your PC) before starting the application." This is on a Samsung Galaxy S10 -- one of the most common phones on the planet.

It works very well now. With help of the suport team. Previouly it crashes. It is very good. Good response and is helpful from the support team.

Its not opening the app. Asks me to "please turn off usb storage" ????? Can you please help me fix this. I've also sent an email regarding this. Edit. Okay never mind. Uninstalling this

Never was able to open it. Says I'm connected to USB storage and to disconnect from my PC, however I'm not connected to any PC.

Could not find any better app for tides because this one has also currents. Worked even better on my old tablet because there was a map of stations..

this works very well in older version.same problem as everyone else.says USB problem,please disconnect from PC before using.phone not connected to anything.

I thought by now they would have fixed the "Disconnect USB..." problem. Just installed the app and got the same error.

Tried to install app twice on S9 but get same error asking to disconnect USB from PC when there is no connection. Others on forums report same error but no response from developet.

Doesn't work. It keeps displaying a message saying to disconnect the phone from the PC, when it is not connected.

Used this for along time, and i can say, it gives me what i want to know. Simple, and usefull. Yes there are more apps like this that gives you a ton of information. But for my needs, this app is sufficient.
