Probably the worst airline app. Booking through the app is very clumsy, so better to use the slightly less clumsy website. Has no login facility so you need to enter flight details once booked. They have disabled paste so you need to manually type in booking reference. Default screen is *not* your bookings so you need to navigate the awkward interface to find them, every time. The best way to use this app is just to checkin and get your boarding pass into Google pay, then ignore the app.
Fairly uninspiring experience. I attempted to find my booking using first name, surname and flight booking reference but the app couldn't find the booking. The exact same details worked on the Tiger Air website. Uninstalling. Update : 1st March. Installed again based on developer response and received the same outcome. Uninstalling again! 🙂
NOT a good experience. The app update in January 2019 that introduced capcha cleared my booked flights, my history and no new flights are visible either. The update caused a worse experience and it is now the 19th February and the app developers have not fixed it. I have re-installed app but still not working.
The developer contact email address listed for this app bounces. I think they've forgotten the .au bit. I was trying to report that the flight durations are wrong for flights that cross timezones, like Sydney to Gold Coast. It's not a 20 minute flight!
Liked the inflight feature..my son enjoyed movies...what I see an issue is no login management..my suggestion to tigerair bring login feature so that it would be easy to manage and rebook as it seems there are lots of steps to book and check-in a flight...
Pity flights are continually cancelled or delayed. Told due to operational problems. I believe Tigerair will the next budget airline to collapse. Only use when no other option which is getting less due route cancellations. Also the A320 must be the oldest that are still flying.
POLi Payment is not available through the app!?!? This means that you have no choice but to use a payment option that charges a fee, as POLi is the one payment option that doesn't charge a fee, but it is unavailable when booking through this app. Extremely poor customer service by tigerair, this is 2018, soon to be 2019, not 2010!!! We're almost in the 3rd decade of the 21st century, when is tigerair going to raise it's standards to the minimum acceptable standards of the 21st century?
Everything is working great, very easy to use, from booking to checking in. Even though there is no a button to add to gpay it won't let me. This has happened twice now.
Booked flight through an agent. Received a tigerair booking reference number, however, the app won't let me access or manage my booking via the app directly and tells me to contact the booking agent? Why? Surely it can't be that hard to integrate the same functionality from the website into the app?
Since last update I can no longer access my booking history or profile. There was no way to export that data so it seems if now lost forever.
This last update on Jan 31 deleted all of my bookings - past, present and future....pointless app if it can't manage an update and retain active bookings.
The in-flight entertainment would not run. Was connected to Tiger WI-FI but it was unable to run. Disappointed.
The app does allow the user to book flights from Canberra to do that you need to go to the web site. makes the app a bit pointless really.
The app allowed me to bring up my boarding pass up until it was time for my flight, where it simply said "check in for this flight is now closed", despite having already checked in.
Good app. Could the developer allow the user to pick it's default state instead of having to change all the time
It won't let me click on the dates that I want. I have tried four times and the same thing keeps happening. Waste of time and I am deleting it.
what is the point of using the app when it doesn't show the boarding pass close to the flight time???
I was trying to access the app flight couldn't get on to the Wi-Fi on my phone was having problems with the onbord Wi-Fi can you fix it

Installed just for the hdtgm podcast back catalogue. Best podcast going. FIVE STARS.

Constantly loses my bookings after adding them, today on our way to the airport after checking in online and having boarding passes in the app, all Info lost again. Couldnt find which terminal we were departing from, re add flights to app or retrieve e boarding passes. What a pain. On our previous flight after checking in online, having boarding passes in the app, at the airport we couldn't use them as the app said check in had closed and so we had to go to the desk anyway. Pointless
