TIGERSECU HD VIEWER

Great hardware and while using ther equipment everything is fine, but the app is worthless. I don't know how to write code or design an app personally, but in my humble opinion it seems as though the amount of information and data required to view your cameras or playback footage from an app on a tablet or phone is far too great and the app just can't process the data quickly enough to be reliable.

Seek bar has been broken for months ! Try to move the slider and the video jumps backwards or forwards by 12 hours.

The app is slow to load. The video is not real time. Its more like clips. Freezes. I've tried troubleshooting with others reply. Nothing is working. Super bummed because I've had this system for a while and just started using the app. If I knew the app was so slow I would have returned device.

My third update, the app has always be barely worth having, the update done today made it completely unusable. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone in fact I plan to leave to lowest review posable and replace this equipment as soon as I can. Complete trash

After a bit of difficulty getting everything up and running, I am thrilled with this DVR and all of its many features. I can view all 4 of my cameras, together or individually, at home or wherever I am. I even had my daughter-in-law install the program on her phone so she & my son can keep an eye on my place as well. Be advised that this is not a wireless unit, so in order to use it on a mobile device, I had to connect an ethernet cable.

Everytime I view the cameras and then go back to the screen to choose from the systems it wipes out the UID number, and this just started after the update, so please fix this problem

App keeps crashing. Tried to open on and it just shuts down on its own.

Works great! I have never had any serious issues with this app. It is glitchy about 5% of the time, but that is expected.

Why does it say connection failed randomly?

Works well when it decides to launch, I always have to force close the app and re open it to get it to work. Very annoying, especially if I hear a bang in the night and I go to grab my phone to see what it is and I gotta play a damn game with my phone to get it to launch, by the time I open and close and open it up again it's too late...

Big Delay in live veiw. If app has been up 10 minutes, what you see is 5 minutes ago, etc. If you watch the video feed on the app, it's in slooow motion - half speed. I made the changes to the sub-stream as directed from the tigersecu rep - Frey. There was an improvement, but only slight: instead of 15 minutes lost between realtime and the app view, there was 12 minutes lost. So I changed main-stean and sub-stream to low and the minutes lost between real and viewed was down to four minutes. Much better, but big loss in record quality. Come on guys rewrite the app.

Slow choppy remote view, becomes unresponsive at times. Why does app have date/time search playback feature, while on the dvr you have to click day by day by day to search playback... which takes forever.

2 issues. My system still locks up 2-3 times a day with remote viewing. And my playback only goes back 5-7 days Ll of a sudden. I use to be able to go back 28 days.

Setup was fairly easy. Working good as well But, while viewing remotely. It has a time lapse and goes really slow. Like 30or 40 seconds behind. Developers please check into that and fix the bug for better results for remotely viewing.

The DVR was very easy to install (ethernet cable, mouse, screen and power cable), just I was following the quick guide and that's it, I buy the renewal DVR and is working as designed, install the APP in my phone and follow the process to have it access to the camaras was easier, I don't have any problems in at all, honestly I recommend this product (DVR), the delay time between my phone APP & DVR is 20 and 30 seconds (having HIGH quality in DVR settings) I think is Ok, Good Job TigerSecu 👍🏻

**updated on how to make faster load. after you add your dvr to the app using the QR code, add an additional dvr using the "Lan search (DVR/NVR)" option. this one will load faster but only work when you are on your home network. use the first QR code dvr when away from home** replaced my swann dvr with this one and it works fine and setup was easy. I wish the feed would load faster and you didnt have to select which dvr you are using every time. I emailed these suggestions also. thanks!

I stumbled on the android setup, but not that difficult in hindsight. In my case I needed barcode AND username and password. Some android users get away with barcode only. Much better program than Swann had. Happy customer! 👍👍👍

Android phone app stop working. Connecting fail. I followed directions to change port and it work for a few weeks. Now it's the same thing again. Try change back to original still doesn't work.

Since last update app does not work at all. Just said can not connect.

Connection failed. Using latest version on pixel 6 pro

When in the app, taking a snapshot nothing is saved. When downloading a backup nothing is saved and then the app locks up. Love the device but not crazy about the app at all.

Works very well. 10x. better than Everfocus. Better equipment and mobile app. When I needed help, support was quick and excellent.

The problem with this app is it is choppy, and a delayed playback. Why cant you make this a real time view? It is bad enough I am considering selling my security system and buying another brand. Let me know what i should or need to do to get a live , unchoppy view. Sometimes I am looking at my son's car in the driveway, but he has been gone for 5 minutes!
