The camera is good, front and back picture. the instructions need work. its easy to connect, but the instructions make it more complicated then it is. It asks for a password even though my camera is connected. I wish the WIFI connection had a longer range. would be nice to check on my car from my house. And what with the adds that pop up each time i connect to my camera. That's got to go. that's why i give it a 3 stars.

Seems to do the job once you connect. Samsung S8, finally connected by disabling VPN and turning off "switch to mobile data" upon weak wifi connection. This may be the camera's fault and not the app - wifi connects but says there's no internet (which makes sense). Suggest app should show some greyed out menu options prior to connection - things were pretty bleak before connecting with no clues as to what was wrong.

For those having issues connecting, try disabling mobile data before starting the app, this fixed the connection issue with my Pixel 2. Since the wifi connection to the camera does not have internet access, it seems like Android is not actually using it and is instead using the mobile data connection. Disabling the mobile data connection forces it to use the dash cams wifi connection and enables the app to function properly.

Connect the phone to wifi first, then hit the connect button on the bottom. The connect option next to the listed wifi option doesn't seem to work as well. Also, changing the wifi password in a different app to something besides the factory password also may have helped. I tried a bunch of things at once and it just started working. Only problem is that I thought more options/features would appear, but the seller wasn't completely honest. Not the software dev's fault, still happy.

It is extremely difficult to connect with Wifi. I'm able to connect about 1 time in 20 or so trys. If my wife's Wifi is enabled, I can't connect. I just got home from the install, and I can't connect here. I suspect it has something to do with my home WiFi connections. I may call the store tomorrow and have them remove this camera system and replace it with something else.

Was working, now it won't connect. It did an update and now my phone won't connect. I've tried to forget the network and it still won't work. If my phone connects directly to the Wi-Fi, the dash cam shows it's connected. But when I try to connect through the app, it won't connect and sends me to the Wi-Fi settings.

Wifi will not connect. I read the instructions. Watched the video and I still can not get it to connect. I keep getting a message from the app, telling me to forget the Wifi connection on my phone. Then connect to the app. That same message still pops up. I am returning to Amazon.

It will not work do not download it's a trashy app. It is awful it doesn't work makes you think it's working when you click it but it turns out you clicked on an advertisement I think it's a scam because when I clicked on what I thought was going to help my app it was an advertisement I downloaded it 3 different times and still doesn't work I contacted their support they want me to turn off a bunch of things like Bluetooth, 4G network, and then click on a link I think the app is a scam

Useless with Rexing. I can get it to connect to the camera wifi-ly, but it won't even show me the image the camera is seeing, no less accessing any of the stored video. But, then again, it IS only a little bit less useless than the rexing connect app itself. I'm beginning to regret selecting a rexing dashcam in the first place!

Entered the password as provided in the manual - password works and connects to cam wifi but app does not detect this connection. Also the app requires full permissions. Why does it need to make calls? Anyway, never got this to work so just going to manually remove the card and view it when I need to. App needs improvement!

Only connects sometimes, so I can only use it sometimes. Rexing app simply does not work. I'm stuck. Rexing customer service is helpful but this app just does not work. Tekes me about 15 to 20 mins to connect if it works. Is always a troubleshoot to get it to work.

In order to connect with your mobile phone running Android. you most likely have to disable mobile data in your settings while you're connected to the Wi-Fi for the camera. Otherwise it will not work. This may vary on certain versions of Android but that is the case curre ntly on Android 10 on a Pixel device.

Horrible app! Always have problems to open app and never connect automatically !! I mamage to connect once in 30 times on my Samsung 10+ and tried with other Samsung mobile and still not connected ! Horrible app

Read if you are having trouble connecting the app to the camera. If your camera is set to 4K, the wifi will not work correctly. This is a camera issue, not an app issue. The camera manufacturers know this. It is actually printed in one of my manuals. You have to put the camera into a lower resolution and it will work. The app makers need to inform users of this in the description to keep more people from docking them stars.

App will not connect to cam's WiFi network. Cleared storage on app and reset camera multiple times only attempting to connect through app with no success. Also, it won't let you use app without allowing phone call permissions. Why would I allow my dashcam to access my phone? Will be returning to Amazon and giving a 1 star there as well.

decent app, connects from my google pixel XL but you have to turn your data off, would be nice if you could connect via wifo at anytime without having to press the wifi button first on the camera, however sometimes it downlaods fast soemtimes takes a few mins, but overall its pretty good the only thing i would improve is the ability to connect anytime the camera is on without having to turn the wifi on

Works ok connecting to Novatek 96675 based dashcam - no issues connecting, crashing, or features not working. However, features are limited (ie cannot disable rear cam, or view live cam without the inset of the rear cam, adjust parked mode, etc). Very disappointed that the app needs Phone permissions - I don't see a need for this and developer hasn't explained the reason.

Had the cam in 3 of my cars for awhile. Needed to pull video off it but it no longer connects to my Samsung Note 9. Followed all the steps to try and solve issue, it's updated to newest version. I ended up removing the memory card and putting it on a computer and then copying the files I needed to my phone.

Camera is great for the retail price. App on the other looks like a 3rd Party App just thrown together without thinking. App needs major upgrade even if for a small fee. No ADS, Dark Theme, Ability to change ALL camera settings from the app would be great too. I would have given a 5 star but this app is very disapponting. Its like serving beluga caviar(Camera) with Cheap Beer(App). Developers get in the game with coding and making a great app that complements this great camera...

Trash, doesn't work at all. Can't connect, can't see anything, pretty much just can't do anything at all. Pointless app, surprised it has 3 stars. Google, should remove this from the play store. It also has ads to, seriously

As a new user, I like my dash cam but NOT the app. The app constantly crashes and will not allow me to connect to the D30H cam. I have done what I can by following the suggestions of the app to forget then connect the WIFI to no avail. This needs to be addressed. In the mean time I will try to find some other app to use.

Won't open until I give the app permission to make phone calls? And it has ads. No reason for ads in an app for a product I paid for. Makes the app unusable because you can't tell what's an ad and what isn't. Poor UI.

Horiible. Doesn't read pictures from my video glasses tho when I connect to pc they are there. Kinda the point for using this "wifi" app to gel with glasses. There is no editing feature. That's a lie.

Sadly the app doesn't work 9 out of 10 times, never stays connected to my huawei mobile, when first bought dash cam it was 3.1,now down to2, that is just pathetic. With such small screen your app should be so much better. Not wanting to recommend due2 this

The app looks okay but my god it is full of adverts. Ad's shouldn't really be appearing in an app like this. Would happily pay for a as free version if needed but there isn't even an option for that!
