Time Entry

Depending on phone's screen settings may only show the first few letters of a job name/category. Often has problems adding a new time punch. Time punch info occasionally disappears, usually when pressing the "Stop" or "Submit" button. Occasionally will not start at all for workers with older phones, though this usually only lasts for a day. No history function, no way to check if the "Successfully submitted" notification is true. Comments field very limited (approx 70 characters?).

Our company has gone completely paperless. About 4 years ago the CE Time Entry App was just one of the tools that helped us achieve our goal of being paperless and is an essential part if how we get payroll from the field to our payroll department. This app is easy to use from either a tablet or phone. I highly recommend this app to anyone using ComputerEase.

You'll spend more time trying to defeat the poor structure of this app than you will putting your employees time in if your a superintendant. Unless you want your employees to do it themselves... than the one long phone call you get from the office every pay period will be many calls. Once you submit the time: it's gone. Your office can import it, but once they do: it's gone. No way to check it, fix it, or reference it... it's gone.

This app is trash absolute garbage. I've had to uninstall and install it just get it to not work. A paper and pencil is better than this trash. Furthermore this is my first ever review of any app ever. I only do it now so that hopefully potential customers do not get this app and lose potential or current employees by how mismanaged this app is. Please do your workforce a favor and choose anything on earth other than this app.

App is horrible login has always failed more often than not. The true problem is they've never attempted a fix.

This app is garbage. You cant look at your total hours for the week. And do not accidentally hit the delete button, wish I could give it negative 10 stars!!!

Get rid of the advanced tab on the workorder screen . It makes the front end and completion screens almost usless on a phone or small tablet

Does not calculate his correct when you change task. The time will be short by .02hrs. Example started at 6:57 and stopped at 7:57 total hrs 0.98. Humm

It doesn't work and even it was to work you couldn't tell because it doesn't acknowledge that something has been submitted and doesn't give you details of items that have been submitted.

CE Time Entry app is a great tool that provides our payroll department direct access to employee time entries without the hassle of using old school paper timesheets, which ultimately makes payroll processes more efficient.

Horrible functionality combined with incorrect calculations, a series of bugs and incompatibility makes this app a nuisance for companies to implement.

Always says failure to login all the time, worst app I've ever used to get my dang money. Fix this junk.

Bugs and ease of use are just horrible.

its basically a stopwatch u cant enter your hours i just use paper sheets

Locks me out on a regular basis. Have to delete and reinstall app or contact my HR department

Will not open constantly while trying to log in.

We have 34 employees using. Generally works pretty good.

The window bakes version is 100% more user friendly

I don't understand why they don't update this app. Its biggest flaw is that you can't go back and look at the hrs that you have already added for the week. Once you hit submit that's it. I get calls and emails from the office every other week because I forgot to log my time one day and I'm just one of about 60 employees. Pretty inconvenient. If they would just fix the issue it would be perfect but as is its only a 2.5

Limited functionality, there is no ease of repeating info for same job information when submitting time. Say I'm on a job for three months, i have to manually enter all the job info everyday to log time. Also another thing that is backwards is that I cannot access a summary of time submitted as an employee. It just disappears. So if I don't screen shot it, or write it down, I cannot make sure that my time is correct on my check. The app is incomplete.

I'm an employee at American Automatic Sprinkler. This app is terrible!! I'm constantly having to talk to the secretary, due to me not being able to view the time I've already entered. There's no way to look at it yourself! So if I can't remember the 3 to 4 entries a day, I haven to do, I have to ask the secretary about it, and she's becoming very annoyed since I'm not the only one with this issue. On top of that, the app says it submits my entries, but for some screwed up reason, it won't show up in the pay roll database and I end up not getting paid!! It's a joke of a time app. Computers are supposed to make life easier, not more difficult with tons of bugs and mistakes.

Crashes constantly, no idea if time is submitted properly, slow and cumbersome. Good idea, poorly exicuted. No way to view what was already submitted. Loading each field takes what seems like an eternity.
