Horrible!! I recorder atleast 1 hour worth of amazing footage, and after stopping, it hadn't saved any of my progress! The video wasn't there and I put so much time and effort so i wanted to record it. This app is awful. It may have just been me clicking the wrong button and it didn't save but I was really disappointed. Won't ever be using this app again. It just made me so angry that all that footage got lost! There are probably a lot more features but i wont bother even looking after that. 0/5
Does NOT Work. Installed this yesterday. Launched it, and it crashed. I tried that about 3 times, and it crashed each time - sometimes before it loaded all the way and sometimes after it loaded and I tried creating something. I rebooted my phone, thinking something there might fix it, but it still crashes every time I try to open it.
I had tested the app before starting the project, and it worked fine. I had the actual timelapse going on for 4 hours, filming my desk to record my fidgeting habits, and when I tried to stop the video, the screen froze, the saving window didn't appear and it went straight back to the home screen. Thanks for ruining the project and wasting my time.
Its good for the timelapse videos, but anything else needs some work. it crashes about 2/3 of the time i open it up, you cant adjust the speed (which is kinda annoying) and honestly I would just stick with the iPhones timelapse (if you have it). very good idea with the photolapse and timelapse video, but it just needs a little work.
At first I liked it, but recently I tried to take a 15 minute sunset time-lapse and the camera kept turning dark. I thought it was just a sleep mode thing, but the video turned out all glitchy! Huge bummer! The screen dims to almost black for half a second, every 1-2 seconds. It completely ruined the video! Also, way too many ads.
Great for elapsing time! This app wasted my last hr no problem at all! When I pressed stop to end the rec the app crashed (like every timlapse app iv tried) and now all my saved videos are inaccessible. It seems there realy is no1 that can make even a basic timlapse app that does what its supposed too, never mind in 4k. Just another gimmick, real shame.
it's simple and works good when it does, but i've lost literal HOURS of footage many times because it gave me a one-second photo lapse instead of a video lapse 😭 the latest incident is just now: i sketched an orthographic plate for two hours then saw just one second was recorded. definitely not a problem of storage because i always have at least 1.5gb free. i can't switch to other apps because they aren't as easy to work with. please fix this 😭
This app has so much potential, but is very very buggy. Turning on battery saver crashes the app without saving the video, app crashes while trying to load the home page frequently, calling your phone's assistant freeezes the app (even though the camera is still moving), and others. I lost a total of three hoirs of film because of these bugs trying to do time lapses of painting for YouTube. I expected so much better from the app because it was the only REAL time lapse, but it just wont cooperate
When it works it works good but the app keeps crashing. Also i was working on a project and doing a time lapse and the first time lapse went well but on the second angle i tried to do i ended it and it only recorded the last frame of the video. So that didnt record about a half hour of work. And you cant frame your shot before starting the timelapse.
It never makes it clear where the files are stored, and exporting is awkward. The app crashed on first use. moreover, the video files play back at 24fps on other players, regardless of how they were shot. This could've been solved by duplicating frames, but I guess they were too busy implementing their spammy mechanics to do it. The app has a high rating because of people who don't know any better, and because of the nag screen that only sends you to the Play Store if you explicitly tell it that you like the app.
This app is terrible. I started one photo lapse fine, then when I started another, it didn't save the photo. I then couldn't access it to add photos or delete it. I started another one and the same problem happened. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but when I logged in all the photo lapses I'd started had disappeared, including the one that was okay. There's nowhere to find out information about using the app, or give feedback. This needs a lot of work, to make it more user friendl
I don't know why everybody else seems to really enjoy this app but it's honestly really bad. Or at least for me because it crashes every other time I go into it but I'm mostly mad about the two hour time lapse of me working that I just made that it lost. I don't know if it had to like render the video or something but it took a good 10 minutes before my phone turned off and then when I turn it back on it was gone 2 hours of work I'm very disappointed that the one thing that this app was supposed to do it couldn't and instead wasted my time. Not only that but you have two modes that don't give you hardly any customizability so it's either within a day or over a day time-lapse. I don't know anybody who's going to have their phone on for more than 24 hours taking pictures but unless mine has a charger it's not doing that so I don't know why they put that in there. And that effectively cuts the amount of options you have into the one meaning you don't have an option. To sum it up, don't like it, let me down, only does one thing and it can't even do that well. PS I don't like how random people's videos show up on the main screen. I don't want to see other people's videos I just want to make my own.
Idk what to say...finally figured it out I thought, logged in, crossed my fingers, the moon lined up just right where it was working and I come back an hr later after project was done an nothing there. Didn't record and have nothing to show for it. App stopped working while going through menus and bs. Undependable and to complicated if you ask me...idk why it can't just be simple take series of pictures and be done. Why does it have to be logged in, post to this, in progress cross your fingers.
The app is rather intuitive and easily navigated, but doesn't offer as many services as it offers, as I found it practically impossible to add music, and to move into any public sphere required a login which I was unaware of and don't quite know how to access. It worked for me though, and effectively does the simple task you ask of it. BUT, AS SOON AS YOU FILM 2 3 MINUTE VIDEOS, IT NO LONGER LETS YOU FILM ANYTHING ELSE!!!😤
Says that you can upload to YouTube and share files, if you try to upload you get a message " unsupported file format " also if you click on a video and press the share button the recipient just gets a link to the app in the play store! also you cannot save the file outside the app so you can only watch it on your phone and then only in portrait mode, the app actually works well other than the points listed above, sort them out and I'd be happy to re-rate this app to 5 stars.
Poor result video quality. Every other frame in the video looks like a standstill frame (almost exactly like the previous one) or has large glitched areas (if there was a lot of movement). It doesn't matter what resolution or frame interval I choose. This doesn't happen in my stock camera app even in 4K videos. If you could fix this that would be great. Also the app crashes in the menus and doesn't shoot video with screen turned off.
Asks for permissions it doesnt need. Wants to download directly to your youtube channel. I want to edit my footage before it goes onto social media. I want the videos to be downloaded in my own video file so that I can edit in other programs. Slowest speed is 1 frame per second. Need a .25 and .5 option. Not enough adjustability. All in all, I dont recommend and I am deleting as we as now changing my password to my google services. It asks for too much and it is a security threat
I absolutly love this app! however, there are two things that bother me - 1. for some reason, I can't lock the exposure at a preset level - when I hit record, the exposure darkens again. 2. my recorded videos can't be uploaded to youtube, for some reason the upload always fails, as if it was a wrong format. please help me understand, and can anything be done about this? thank you.
