First of, I love the service of timecamp and this app in general. However, I have two main problems with the Android app: (1) When I delete a timesheet the app crashes. It doesn't happen always, but it happens nevertheless. (2) The app is only viewable in portrait mode. This is extremely inconvenient when using a tablet docked on a keyboard, and I mostly use my tablet that way.
I am using thd app despite its flaws. It like the layout and the intent of the design, but its missing some essential functionality and has issues with glitching both in the app and on the desktop version. I wish entrys could go past midnight, forcing users to split the entry between two days make the sheet look messy and adds another way to make errors. Another issue is when adding time ranges it locks the total time value and shifts the begining or end time, depending on which is adjusted.
Literally the worst app I've ever used! The reporting is inaccurate, it enters mystery data for dates I didn't even open the app and it doesn't always respond when I tap buttons. After using it for some contract work I had to go back and recalculate my time for the month to make sure I wasn't overcharging.
Could be better but the platform itself is awesome! A few bugs and crashes but nothing too important. A widget to start and stop tasks would be very nice imo. Then I think I'd give it 5 stars.
evaluating against two competitors, esp. Android app. almost a win with one silly but very important detail: start timer is green but stop timer is GREEN. all children know STOP should be RED. fix this and 4 stars and next review. update: my suggested fix is in place. i up to 5 because the free version does what i need and devs responded to my suggestion. i keep a detailed timecard here and this product performs brilliantly.
I absolutely love using TimeCamp app it's easy to use and ad free! Customer service is on point and at the ready to resolve an issue that may occur. I highly recommend using this app!
Entries in the app are sorted in a strange way (not exactly chronological, it depends on where you give them a start—web/app), but it doesn't bother me, personality. All the other aspects are excellent.
It's a basic easy to use app. I strongly recommend, though, that the developers add the ability to delete task names! It is very annoying to have to scroll through old unneeded task names to find the one you want! Please make this change! It's the reason for only 3 stars!
I love your app and all the improvements you have made! Well, I have different clients and multiple tasks with them that needs to be tracked. I have to play and pause for those tasks, now I'm having a hard time computing how many hours I have spent in one client 😅 because it only shows the total hours I made for the day. Do you have updates for this? Thanks!
As a general contractor i love this system. very easy to organize and use. The only thing is it desperately needs the function to create invoices from the app and not just the web application.
Overall good, with starting and stopping times. However, one thing that definitely needs to be improved is that we cannot select a sub category of tasks.
Do not install this alllication! It is not worth the headache of dealing with "Tech Support" who try to direct you towards the 18 step guide to deleting your account (which didn't work for me...). Save your time and literally just go start a fight with a bear and convince it to keep your time clock data.
As a single user and independent contractor, I'm really liking the clean, easy to use, yet robust UI and system of reporting.
All the features a person needs in the free version. I imagine a business would want to use the paid version.
Very simple app with limited features. I previously chose it due to its great Trello integration, but key features such as data export are behind a paywall so I've stopped using it
Doesn't support the same functionality of the web site and doesn't allow landscape on tablets. Still doesn't support landscape.
Great app and a great tool overall. Does what it is supposed to reliably, without overreaching. Would recommend it to any freelancer working on more task than one.
Imposible to analyze or add a rate per hour. Impossible to see active projects, or how much time is used in a particular client. Really disappoint app.
works great for me. I am a single user but this has helped pull into perspective the time I am spending on specific task and how that relates to the amounts being charged per task.
Reporting needs work. Only shows active tasks and not archived ones which have been completed which doesn't make sense to me.
Free version, does not give much editing. Once you write the title of a job, and wants to add like project number to it, later on, it is impossible. Very frustrating. I use it for a temporary 1 month job, makes nosense to pay for such short period. Free version, should be full version for 3 month. If someone have need for it, after 3 month, we all xan pay fees, if we find it usefull!
