Timegate Employee
The Timegate Employee app removes the need to use a site telephone to record attendance, by allowing you to book on and off your shift, make health and safety check calls, raise incidents and complete forms and tours using the app.
The app allows seamless access to the employee portal to allow you to book holidays, view your schedule, make requests, view company announcements and much more!
Install Guide:
1. Ensure your mobile device is using the latest system update.
2. Install or Reinstall Timegate Employee App from store.
3. Once installed, ensure the Timegate Employee app is allowed to access your devices location services.
4. Enter your Client code and Personal Identification Number (PIN). If you do not have these, please ask a member of your management team.
NB. Your employer may not make all features available as this is subject to the security policies of your employer.

Works but slight problem that needs fixing. I work for 2 companies that use timesgate. I can log out but can't get to the title screen to allow me to sign into other company timesgate. I would have to clear data on the app itself or uninstall and reinstall. Please fix by allowing a full sign out so it's easier for switching accounts. A nice feature would to have saved site numbers on side so it's easier to sign in for location without having to remember the 4 digit number everytime
App not reliable, give the wrong location when you trying to book off
680 all the time. What have you d9ne top the App?! Since New Year it's been fine then as of this week pointless to have. Are there restrictions on certain phone models, have you posted an up date but taken it down without notification to users?? What is going on. It is bad most of the time but this is ridiculous now. Sort it out or pack up a d shut it down permanently.
The app is more use-friendly since the 3 dots have been reintroduced to make check-calls easier. However, it is not really that beneficial because it does not, unlike before the change, give the time that you have made the call. It just shows 0000.
Trash, total trash! It's laggy, unintuitive and does not save reports you wrote and go back on. It's constantly data syncing, lags out and crashes during a tour. Error after error message doing check calls. Considering the amount of money my firm pays pet month to use this garbage you would think they would fix these issues.
Whenever location turns on the app freezes, so as my phone...and I can't do nothing for at least 3 min. I'm doing retail security, which requires to be on time at work. I always arrive early and TRY to clock in at right time but app will be like "oh no sir, no chance for you to clock in on time" I end up receiving phone calls from my employer to confirm duties, ridiculous! Worst app ever
I am forced to use this App for work. It as to be the worst App that I've ever put on my phone. I had to scan a QR code at work and it set my blue tooth to on and then off every few seconds .I was forced to factory reset my phone. I lost all my contacts and other apps. Nothing works on it and it shouldn't be allowed on any App store.
Crazy app Get some of the most crazy error messages using it my favourite one "call is not what was expected" and nearly always get the "call can not be made outside call window" - even when the call IS within the call window, but no matter what error message comes up control always say that it has logged my check call. In short app works but with error messages at least 50% of the time.
Constantly have to log in each use. I preferred the previous version as once it was set up you just had to open it to book on or make a check call. Now it needs my ID pun every time I open it. I'm using it on a shift and I'm already fed up with it. I might just as well make a phone call.
Overall this app works fine. Only issue I'm having is the option to confirm shifts. I have to rely on others to confirm for me. Reinstalled it many times but to no avail. Spoken to my team about it and they're just as confused. Updated my phone too with no change. So it must be the app itself.
So hard to try and register. Requesting new password for Portal, but the one sent by the app the password isn't recognised...and then I'm locked out after 3 attempts! If I go to settings it actually locks up my Galaxy S9 and have to force close. Frustrating to say the least.
New to the app as we usually use fingerprinting system. This system is different as you need Internet to access, also u need to put you location number in to sign in also needs location to be on to use it. Took me 6/7 mins to get into it and sign in usually it takes me on the fingerprint machine that was currently being used less than 10 secs to use so a big difference.
App freezes and crashes if you attempt to change any of the settings. Can't use it to log in because the GPS settings require you to give them access to your information at all times, Instead of just when the app is open.
Peice of rubbish app, always has off days where it struggles to work and takes about 50 attempts to toggle things on and off for it to work. Not good when i've got buses to catch to other jobs. Wish i didn't have to use it tbh, it's awful. Even worse when i have to call control centre and they act like the app never has issues....
So many times this app freezes before you log in or out, also does the same after too, it's a pain when you are due to start work, the amount of times my phones frozen with it too, it can take 10 minutes before it starts working again, needs fixing, does it at least twice a week
Needs a MAJOR update for Android phones. Completely crashes my phone whenever I load up the app which makes it impossible to log in/off. Luckily bookmarked the webpage so I can still get access to my diary. I've reinstalled it numerous times with no luck.
Downloaded this app on Monday as my employer has decided to use this. I'm getting used to it and it's fine but it's draining my phone battery. My phone has actually warned me it's doing this. My device efficiency was down by 10% alone just for this one app. It just doesn't seem right.
I would give zero stars if I could despite allowing location settings the app still insists I allow them even though they are allowed. Seriously had to use this app at work for a good couple of months now and never once has it actually worked correctly.
Useless, worked for a couple of weeks then I couldn't get logged on. Kept saying invalid credentials. still unable to log on and can't change my password, very frustrating. 0 stars.
After the update it logged me out so now I can't log back in as it gives me an error. After every update the bug still has not been fixed of saying unknown registration code, after you logged us out and now we can't log back in. After every update you still don't fix this issue.
App work just fine but really need an improvement. Gps check failed is very common issue. We could also use some features like calls history and push reminder notifications. Thanks
This app keeps having problems like when you try to upload stuff say failed plus when you put the phone in your pocket saying offline and needs a countdown timer so you no you are logged and out at the right time.
Forced to use this by my work. It doesn't allow me to set my site number so I have to put it in everytime. Constant GPS error 210 waste of time.
It's working very good. Sometimes inside the building or store, if there is no network then this app will not work for book on or off. In that situation, you will need to come out from the building or store to get enough network to make the app functional and then you can do your book on, book off and check call. So, this app has no problem, you need to make sure that before you use this app you have got enough network in your mobile.
Worked well with no problems until a few months ago and now I'm lucky if the GPS will pick it up as it's very tempremental, the only thing that does work well is the portal for checking shifts.
Was a good app before the last update it use to have the 3 dots in the top right corner to make check calls quicker and show the times check calls were made but now that option is no longer available.
Good idea for those of us using the system for work. Unfortunately, it crashes when trying to get a gps lock (hard to do inside a building). It also requires a high amount of system access which I am reluctant to give.
Has write conflict with my personal phone always an ordeal to book on or off usally because of the GPS which is intermitent in our area .It is a constant distraction looking down to find out if it has worked .40 system busy try later .I just do not trust this app any more .every other app works on this phone and I am not paying another £1000 pounds of my money to install an app for our company's benifit and that is Un reliable at best .I stand around waiting for a GPS location can't dile 999
Rubbish. Even the portal ,when I search for jobs and I find the job I want ,I go to request then I press but never goes to messages. Then I have to call the control for approval. Before used to be good not any more.
Poor app, not very reliable. Every time i go in to this app to use it to start/clock in to work the it freezes, and not just the app it's self but the whole phone also. This then takes at least five to ten minutes for the phone to recover and reset it's self, (by which time you are probably past the clock in time!) This has now happened on more that three or four occasions. Needs a major update!
