1. It looks cool and super user-friendly, and even it's widgets are convinient. However all that doesn't matter because it doesn't work properly: after a few minutes the timer stops counting. So I deleted it. 2. Then I've seen a comment about power management and decided to try again, and it seemed it worked alright now. => good design, little inconvenience 3. Then I've tested it in comparison with the default timer and it still stops when I turn the screen off. Sadly no way
The app is good in concept. A simple timer, and you can set three different times. Useful when i do my workout routine with different time values as I could easily switch clocks. However, it's now got an issue where the timer stays idle after you press start. Really messes up my workouts when it happens and I don't notice until I've already started. I did email the creators about this, but heard nothing. Seeing as the issue hasn't been fixed, I'm now using a different app. A shame really.
It doesn't repeat the alarm tone so unless you have a 30 second sound clip that you're using, the default tones will be about one second long at most. This is far too short for me. I keep missing the alarms making this app unusable without going through the bother of getting an appropriate alarm tone. As I'm pressed for time these days, this isn't going to happen, rendering the app unusable. Also Android 10 has flagged this app as using too much power in the background. Good widget though.
It's a great app! Asthetically pleasing and it functions as it should! The only thing is the loud tone when you move the dial to set the timer. Some might like it but I found no options to make the sound lower and/or remove it entirely. Also no option to adjust the volume for the actual ringer that you've set when it goes off. Put that in the next update and I'll for sure make this 5 stars! (3 stars only because i believe it'll get more attention from the devs without making it look bad 💯✌🏾)
This app is (still) completely unfit for purpose. It's a countdown timer that doesn't keep correct time. Or rather, it *only* keeps correct time if the app screen itself is active - otherwise, it's incapable of counting in the background. This issue isn't new either - I experienced the same thing months ago, and thought I would give the developers time to update the app so that it's compatible with the latest versions of Android. I think it's been abandoned.
I used to really love this app till it started glitching a little while ago. Essentially, it would work fine and then every now and again it would just lapse time (as in I will have set it for 25 minutes and then after about 30 minutes I'd check to see why it hasn't gone off and it would be on the 13th minutes still; I'd restart it to check the starting point was correct (which it was) which just means for some of that time it wasn't working). I hope this gets fixed soon.
Was nice, loved it for years, but when I bought a new phone with newer OS (Oreo 8.0), I find no way to create and save a multitude of time settings that match the numbers that I am most likely to need. Now I can only set three. This was a great feature being that I didn't have to reset the timer every time I used it. The problem is that for some reason, out of so many timers available, this was (and still seems to be) the only one that actually looks nice also. Why is that?
SETTINGS swipe UP from BOTTOM was going to dump the app when I couldn't find them. Request for help auto-answer without follow up. LOVE this little, simple timer EXCEPT there is no volume setting. The music snippet I wanted to use came out JARRINGLY loud. Would be better if volume could be set individually for each of the three alarms. Sometimes, I want loud and intrusive alarm. Sometimes, I want soft reminder.
This app stopped working recently, the timer seemingly froze whenever my device locked. This issue was fixed by going into app settings/OK Timer and making sure the app is permitted to use the device battery in the background. Been using this app for years, tiny size, 3 simultaenous timers can be run, great minimal interface, and no ads.
Very minimal concept for the interface and it works really well. As a suggestion: it would be great if I could label each timer and have its name visible, as well as the possibility of setting different alarm sounds for each preset. Thanks for the app, been a user for a while.
Can't manually type in exact length of time Worse, alarm is very low and only beeps a few times but doesn't repeat. You won't know if it went off and missed it by five seconds! Useless.
The app itself is awesome. I like the idea od colorful theme, it's remarkable. I'd like a little bit of accuracy when selecting time or even be able to type it. Also different clock designs should be available. Enhance a little bit the buttons and it's tapping Thanks for your time
Since getting a new phone, the app has done nothing but malfunction! It used to work fine, but now it won't start, & it does not register the 30 minutes I had it set for, instead it shows 6 minutes + a few seconds, & still won't start. Uninstalled & reinstalled, to no avail. Permanently deleted now.
I really wanted to love this as the functionality is exactly what I am looking for, but sadly I'll have to uninstall this again. You can't change the alarm tone that is played when the timer elapses. This is a dealbreaker for me as I need a short alert tone instead of the default alarm melody.
THE TIMER I WAS LOOKING FOR. It's simple timer I was looking for. It has 3 simple preset timer in 3 different colors. You can set them and each is working in background. The only thing it lacks is a little more time faces, but overall for me it's 5 stars definitely
I would set the timer, and it would work at the start, but when the app isn't running, it would stop in the background which meant the after 8 hrs, I'd go back and it would say 7hr 20 (example). So it just never worked for me. was pointless????
It's simple and pretty and nice when it works as intended , but seems to be cpu heavy even when a timer has expired in the background and the countdown halts if the phone goes to sleep. Caused me some confusion. Not a keeper.
Love the simple interface and functionality of 3 different timers. The fact that you can't save these set timers is a minus. Running timers pause when no longer in focus although still showing as running in the background in the notification/drop down shade of the phone /device. Android 6.0.1 All permissions granted
Not sure why others say this doesn't work as it has worked great for me for a while. Great way to keep up with cooking or anything else that you need a timer for. Great app, no ads, and I love it! It says it has ads, but I see none so...
I set a 20 minute timer for a nap somewhere around 11 am, but I'm not too sure as I didn't look at the time. I woke up at 12:30, disoriented from over sleeping, still with 9 minutes left on the timer. I let it continue and it didn't go off until 1:01. I tested it again for another 9 minutes starting at 1:21 and when I came back to my phone at 1:33, there was still 5 minutes left on the timer. If, uhm, accuratley counting the time is important to you, I suggest trying another app.
Recently the app seems to fail. When my phone sleeps, it apparently decides to pause, though not every time. But unreliable is unreliable. Pretty sure it used to work properly, probably needs to be updated.
The only shortcoming is that when i switch apps and the timer starts playing sound than there is no obvious indication where the sound is coming from. Everything else is intuitive.
For my previous phone which had an older OS, I would rate this 5 stars: a fantastic simple timer, with great widgets. BUT, they have not updated this app for Android Pie, and Android Pie has been out for over a year now. I've had my latest phone with Pie for 6 months and had patiently been waiting for an update for this app to work with Pie, but alas one never came. So, if you have an old OS, I say 5 stars. If using Pie or newer, then I say 1 star.
It does NOT stop running when the screensaver turns on if you exclude from Battery Saver but there is nothing to tell you this. There IS a Settings where you can configure the alarm and theme but best of luck finding it on your own: Try swiping up from the bottom of the screen.
Loved this app on my previous phone. Hence installed it again when I got my new Samsung A50. However now it does not work.....the countdown runs at about half the speed it should....and most of the time if my screen goes to sleep it stops completely. Please fix, as I want to keep using it.
Good app that I have been using for years. Doesn't hve ads or anything more. I just found a bug though: if you start a timer with zero seconds, you can not reset it, the "stop" button desn't appear. Even killing the app did not reset the timer. I had to reinstall, no biggie since its small and it took me years to find that bug.
