I've only began exploring the app and I can already see that it is a true treasure trove of historical facts, all backed up with pictures, ancient texts, and an easy to use design. It's clearly a project of great passion, executed in a way that resonates vast knowledge and immense interest.
I 'm visual person, so the maps provided in this app helped me to navigate through the app. Some features are nice too: it's easy to filter on countries or types of sites, so you can zoom in on what interests you most. Good job.
Filtering and finding anything you want is easy in this app, but you still need some time to appreciate all features. There's a ton of information - you can search or filter for monuments, cities, temples, and more. Many ancient texts are also there with places indexed.
There's lot of things to look for in this app. Take Roman forts and camps. The app helps to sort them, show where they are located in the today's map and the history behind each one. Nice content and an interface that does the nob.
This app made easier choice of places to see on your trip to europe. It lists several not so obvious places that used to be a part of the Roman Empire.
I live in the city of Lincoln which is full of Roman remains. The free version of this app lists none of them. It calls the city 'Col Lindum' by which I guess they mean Lindum Colonia. Even in Italy there is very little on lesser known places.
The app itself has so much information - no need to go elsewhere to have information about lots of sites within ancient Roman Empire. There are external links to other sites , so you can expand on the info provided here, but I imagine you won't need to.
I put a 4star because the free version I a bit limited; the pro is really complete. Not sure I will ever be to all these places.
Some museums are missing, like Archeon in Alphen aan den Rijn, Netherlands. Or did you not include in the first place because it's not a historical site?
This is an amazing app! Super informative and accurate! The best! Thank you for making an app like this.
Lots of sites and monuments outside Italy. Also liked ancient Roman texts.
More complete than other guides, especially for the ancient world amateurs
Awesome app, full of great information wrapped up very nicely. Great dev as well!
Fantastic app for any Roman empire fan, I use this frequently when travelling
Crashes every time I try to open it.
If you have interest for Ancient Rome, this app is for you. Nice realization too.
Great free guide for the Eternal City, Salve!
First time opened. Searching for Colosseum... nothing happens!
10/10 recomend. Love it!
Graat app for new learnings about not a new things
Just ok,nothing you can't google on your own
Love using this app! The articles are all interesting to read even if I'm not traveling. I wish i had of had it while I was in Italy and Greece. Would have made learning about the sites much easier. Access to the ancient texts is great for kids learning history at school.
The app is too intrusive with ads to get you to buy their paid version. Every place of interest you click on spams you with a notice to upgrade to the fill version. I
Great app it shows a lot of places about Ancient Roman Empire. I used it to find history places near my home and it worked well. Never crashed and showed me places with great precision. I highly recommend it.
First of all, I got a free copy of the full app for review purposes. There are one or two rough edges and I have suggested improvements at least one of which has been implemented. For Roman history buffs the amount of info is extensive with lots of detailed articles on Roman monuments of interest all over Europe. For anyone visiting Rome, the app is a great way to ensure that no sight is missed. Yes, the price may be a little high but considering the amount of information I'd still say it's great value for money. Recommended.
