TimeZone Fixer is a small program which updates Android timezone files to the latest version (see "What's new" section). It is useful if the time zone changed in your area, or Daylight Saving Time has been abandoned or adopted.

☆ Needs update to 2021a ?! * Still useful on unrooted devices for checking to see which tz files are in use by your device -- if you don't know where to look or have a limited file explorer

It's Perfect!!! Worked on S4-I9500 for Halcyon Quantum Core/Lite ROM, The time was missed up. 1st saved the old file from app incase something wrong happen then I extracted the 2017c tzdata file from the app & overwriten the old one by myself with ES File explorer. :)
I love the tool, but it's a pitty it seems to be no longer updated? Current TZData for Android is at version 2018e...
Just read it can brick your phone, i not taking that gamble!
It does the job, right and simple, no confusing stuff, no nothing, just update timezone to the latest version and forget about this app for the next months. Would gladly pay a nice import beer to the author :)

I downloaded the zip and flash it but when I try to reboot my phone it just stayed in bootloop so I had to delete os and reinstall it to fix my phone.
For people who don't know what Root is, don't bother to install then rate it bad. Learn first. Thanks Dev. Nice icon.
Still updated and managed by the developer, and is a simple and easy way to keep your phone up to date with any new time zone changes.

very useful . I'm using HTC ONE M8 Android 6.0. the clock widget and all my apps display different time from the system time .now it's working perfect.
