Not bad at all, it requires actual attention; you need to dodge effectively as the Enemies can trick you, like when they go at the top of the screen, they'll either go diagonally down or along the top, so it's not a brain-numbing game, I like it. It's annoying there are 2 Versions of this Game on G.Play though; this one has no intrusive Ads and lets you play whenever, while the other has annoying Ads and limited Plays, but has Leaderboards, why? Also a bit of a grind. You have something here.
This isanawsome game! Bought it before 2 years when it was free, but something is missing, what if there was final special boss, (nothing to do with the story) and he is harder than every other boss, he could be at level 230. After you beat him, random artifact upgrades to level 3 and your character goes back to lvl 1 stage 1. This is just a concept, I think it would be very cool. Edit:Also his background could be special, swamp maybe...
It's a good concept, but not executed very well. For starters it's only combat, and the attacking is very bland. The dodging is the main focus, but that also isn't very fun, and is flawed. For example, usually when trying to dodge a move, you just have to learn the monster's pattern, then repeat, which messes with the flow of the game.
This just doesn't have the depth to be considered the best of anything. Past 30-60 minutes of playing, there is nothing new besides different sprites and bigger numbers on your screen, slightly different character stats and abilities that don't make a difference. The amount they push microtransactions is depressing. Positively, it is entertaining for a while, but I find myself bored faster and faster each session. It's not bad, it just gets very old.
This game is pretty good. However, progress is stupid to deal with. Most of the enemies at the beginning are trial and error, and the bosses have way too much health for the hero. I just started out, and the level 10 boss is too difficult for the first hero, and I can't upgrade anything for a long time.
I've been playing this game for like three days and it's good. Not perfect because of some design troubles (sometimes levels are, like, empty and it isn't because of retro style), but it's not a great minus. Gameplay is as simple as addictive, controls are perfect (for the style at least). UPD: is it okay that "scorpion man" called "skoLpion man"??
Game was great before the latest update. After installing latest update, the gameplay has seem to be "zoomed in more," and I know that many other players have noticed it. The frame rate also degraded and the dodging mechanic has seemed to slow down because of this. I would really appreciate if you could fix this, other than that, it's a great game that I can play whenever, and even with a game controller! So please fix this, thank you.
'S pretty good. The gameplay is fun and the art style achieves what it was going for. So far, I have encountered 2 bugs. 1. When not connected to wifi or data, the top of the screen constantly flashes between "add eventHandler" and "admob initialized", pretty annoying. 2. The scroll menu for Hero Select occasionally fails to work
This game is pretty good, really good actually, but there is one problem I have with it... I hate the dodge controls. It would be easier to just have a d-pad without the right button, or at least give me an option to move them or change the size of them, it's really annoying when I press the wrong button because of the positioning of ths buttons. Other than that it's a great game, but if the controls get changed, this would be a 5-star game for sure.
The game is kinda good, but there are 3 things I don't really like. The controls - the 3 movement buttons are in a slightly rotated triangle, that's just uncomfortable to play. Give us an option to make it DPad. And the "admob initialized" thing at the up side of the screen. It just stresses me out, also it's annoying. And the final one - the ads. Tons of it. No, not the ads of other apps, but the ads of the microtransactions. Give us another option to disable them.
Oh boy, is this game a treat to play! The graphics, animations, sound, and gameplay are all top notch. The characters feel unique and it makes you want to try each of them. It's pretty easy to get going once you learn a few tricks on the loading screen. Although there is a pay to win element, I found it fairly balanced, and it is easy to beat the final boss without grinding much at all. Sometimes the controls can be a little unresponsive. But overall, it's a fun and addictive game.
I Gave this a chance despite how the visuals and characters looks, played the novice hero and got excited of how interesting this type of gameplay is. At least make the visuals like puzzle heroes. Disappointed that the assassin class is locked behind a 70 diamond paywall. More disappointed that player has to play each hero progressively to obtain related progresss unlockable hero classes, a very time consuming hassle. Over time the game goes from interesting to grinding, to boring. Uninstalled
Hi there devs, So am just a new guy trying out this game, love the gameplay, art style. The retro feels just made me pumped up. Though, I'm facing a bug, I can't level up my heroes stats like damage, health etc. I've played a few rounds, when I want to level the stats. It stated that I need 40 more credits. So, I continued to play more rounds and I got over 1000 credits. Still, need 40 more. I'm not sure is it a bug on my end or is it just a system you guys implement. thanks
This game is amazing, but the models for the inputs are too large for the screen, so the whole game is a scrunched up mess of text and UI. Before the update that did this, the game was amazing, but now? It's barely playable. I really do hope it gets fixed soon, because if it does, I fully endorse this game. It's so fun, which is why I hope this gets fixed soon.
Very Addicting game. I install and uninstall it frequently. Some aspects are obviously lacking, such as the accessibility of heroes, sprite animation/action and battle variety (later in game). The two things that keep it alive for me are the abilities you are given from each new character which let you form new strategies, and the progression of power by means of rng. (relics, which allow you to feel like you broke the game if done correctly). Kinda like ROR2.
Good retro battle game. Simple, but that's part of it's appeal. People are complaining about only having one hero at the start, grinding, or watching ads. Sheesh! That's part of ANY game that is free. Be glad you can watch ads to upgrade. Back in the day it was ALL about grinding. Thanks for this retro slice of gaming goodness.
This is the literal best game on the playstore. Now I have a message to the top review about the pay wall, nothing is locked behind a pay wall, everything can be unlocked via beating bosses and doing collesium runs. You're saying that the only free character is novice but that is the biggest lie imaginable. I'm sorry that you couldn't beat the first level because you only play clicker games that play themselves, some games might take time to get into, but you wouldn't know that.
Great game but one glaring oversight. I played for almost 3 hours now and there was something really odd happening.Maybe its just the mechanics of the game but if I play other heroes except for the Novice, the arrows that indicate where the enemy is heading disappears. It may not be significant to adept players but casuals like me struggle guessing where the enemy is heading. Just because of that issue I am having a hard time recommending this game to people that isnt very good in games like this.
The latest update really messed up the game. Now it's weirdly zoomed in, with UI pieces in odd places, overlapping or even off screen partially. Not only this, but the game seems more laggy than before, and the button press imput doesn't always register. Before this, the game was a pretty solid 4/5, but it's almost unplayable now.
An overall great game, the only issue is with the controls. hard to have a good timing when all three evade control are that closes. It would be nice to be able to move those a bit, to have a better experience. What's more, the controls image are a bit to the left of where the actual button is (up and down are considered as back, and I have to touch right of these to actually go up or down)
