A gamebook by definition, This Is Not a Test mixes RPG elements with a post apocalyptic, Choose Your Own Adventure styled graphic novel. Choosing skills, scavenging items, and bringing companions will affect your quest for survival. All scenes and all of the user-interface is hand-illustrated by amazing comic artist Jeff Edwards, in a gritty, post apocalyptic style. The writing is blunt, pulpy, and cruel, hurling you into the skin of a victim racing for survival in the mayhem of the final moments of humanity. As a gamebook, it is shorter and punchier than its long-winded rivals, with a focus on the amazing art. As graphic novel RPG, its mechanics are streamlined, and won’t have you drowning in numbers. As a survival game, it pushes you ruthlessly toward your eventual demise in the death gas — unless you do something about it.
The End of The World:Explosions are heard in the distant skies and a terrible death gas looms over the population. An emergency broadcast announces a MANDATORY EVACUATION to the mountain shelter of Fort Eisenhower. Doomsday is at hand! Mayhem is immanent! The way is treacherous, and the quest for survival will be difficult. What will you do?

Great concept, but trying to get one of the few endings where you survive requires an exact mix of traits and choices that removes any role-playing. There's also strange logic that pulls you out of the game, like doomsday preppers who apparently don't stock their shelters with food or water. Or a military officer letting a shelter full of people starve even though it has a stockroom full of supplies.
I wish you could not get stuck in loops and like have an option to go back Also I'm waiting for more
Very heavy, but obviously a huge amount of time was put into the comics themselves. It makes you realize how horrible something like this would be.
Rather hopeless. After reaching the same ending several times, it gets boring.
Very realistic and unpredictable I recommend any book readers or survival gamer etc. 10/10 IGN 😂😂
This reminds me of those addicting choose your own adventure comics from elementary school, the story can take a u -turn at any moment and the possibility of multiple endings keeps me glued to my phone.
Awesome game with great art. Perfect for killing some time and really would enjoy seeing this story expanded.
Great concept. But I expected a longer story than anticipating my own ending in different ways. Hope there is a legit ending that you would feel worth it when you finish the story. Looking forward for more of your graphic novels. Thank you!
A great choose your own adventure with brilliant comic book art. Slickly presented and you can play through the story in a short while - the replay comes from finding all the different endings. Excellent app!
Play button does nothing. As per developer previous comments I have updated chrome, no success
The buttons don't even respond at beginning you pick 3 skills so I did ok next.... Nothing happened reload nope nothing ?! So now I hit a button that will work Uninstall =) bye bye
Had been trying to unlock every ending :p Various choice depend on your skill and choose your skill wisely is the only thing i can said :p
Great game I can't stop playing I have 17 of 19 endings I would love it if you made more like this or add-on to it some how *BUG* the text chat in some of the bubbles are not complete

Nice graphics and concept, however the choices you are given are too basic. Would like more diversity. Die pretty quick too - based on poor choices given. Like it wants you to die.
I tried to select the three skills and press start but it won't work
Many endings are too difficult to unlock though. Maybe a guide is needed.
After picking 3 skills the begin button does not work!! Fix this now! Also the back button does not work either
Was unable to find any good ending and the games became really repetitive , waster many hours finding the perfect ending but to no avail
Ever gone through a "choose your own adventure" book? Just like that and with great art-work and a few well placed sound effects.
I'm stuck. Replay not helping, stat changes sorta help but not always.

Its something new than the usual gamebook but its hella fun!
Survival is tough. Just like real world, many situations in this game are unpredictable. Some choices are really deadly but you will be able to choose again. After playing this game, I think I must learn to drive as soon as possible:$
