Fantastic app. Can sometimes just turn off. However generally reliable and incredibly useful for making reading on my phone easier. I'm amazed that this function isn't built into Android. The app would be improved if there was a way of only having the tint working in certain apps. For example whilst reading email it is excellent, however when looking at photographs I need to turn tint off.
PLEASE MAKE THIS APP AVAILABLE FOR iPhones. This app is wonderful for people recovering from concussions who have light sensitivity and eye strain with screens. It enables you to choose the color, transparency of the color, and the size of the colored overlay on your device screen. It also provides a line to help keep your place with reading. However, I have two suggestions - the line needs to be easier to place/move on the page and PLEASE MAKE THIS APP AVAILABLE FOR iPhones. There is nothing like it for apple users and people really need it!
It does really help with reading on pages that don't have a dark theme. However, I have to turn the app off all the time to use other apps. It's really inconvenient as ideally I need the tint on all the time.
The app is really simple to use: just two modes, a colour overlay and an underliner that can be used simultaneously. The latter is a little jerky, presumably because the app underneath is competing for clicks and drags.
When it works, it's great! But, it only works around 80% of the time with (Google) morning news, 30% with Chrome, 40% with Reddit, 40% with Kindle app. Basically, if you wanna read for more than 10mins, you're buggered, unless you want to keep re-opening tint app every 10mins.
the colour and underline are good but the biggest problem is it all turns off after about of minute of coming off the app. all permissions are on so I dont get why. also, whenever I try to move the underline around it glitches so much. wouldnt reccomend.
Well, I do like the app, when it works properly. The only thing is....... when I open certain apps my overlay disappears! Or it disappears for no reason! Very annoying! Would give 5 stars if worked properly!
I love this app. I have severe visual impairments and this has made using my phone a lot easier. You also get loads of colour options. The only issue is that for me it is a little too light I need something a little more opaque.
The underline doesn't stay on the screen for longer than a minute. Not very useful for reading.
Tried this to help with tracking. The underlay jumps so much when you move it that it was significantly more difficult to read literally anything.
When this app works its great, however the colour only stays of for around 30 seconds, then I have to reopen the app to put it on again. Sadly I will be deleting this app and looking for another one
This app is a good app if you have dyslexia because that it will help you read . Of example it's like having your overlay that you have on paper but on your device.
Would ve perfect if it didnt keep turning off randomly every few minutes. When it works its perfect, but it doesnt STAY working.
Selected the colour fine, once on though couldnt use phone at all and had to disable it from working as couldnt even turn it off
Kept turning off as i was in the middle of trying to read something important. I struggle with dyslexia but otherwise it has the perfect colour for me to consontrait
This app really helps me read texts and e books with ease, it's so much easier to have this app then to hold my overlay on the screen. If I could give this app more than 5 stars I would
Excellent! I'm giving it 5 stars because it fixed my tablet. It removed the red horizontal lines on the screen. Thanks to this app.
App only gives me the option of a really bright yellow filter, which is worse than no filter.
It doesn't cover the wifif, battery, time bar and it doesn't cover the virtual button.
I thought this was going to help me but after the initial colour choice it changed to yellow with no other options.
Screen overlay keeps stopping causing more pain and issues. Terrible ap.
This is really goo it helps me, irh my visual stress I got this nez phone not able to change it to purple and getting really bad mine grains bit it works amazing
This app is amazing for people with dyslexia it is easy to use and so helpful
it works well until i try to use it on a document im typing then it just makes the screen go dull
Amazing! Didn't know this app existed. Helps me so much with my dyslexia.
Everything else works fine but it only stays on for 1 minute this needs to be fixed.
I like the concept, but it won't stay on when I change apps, so it's not of use to me
Almost instantly Locked me out of my phone anywhere the overlay was
Good but doesn't cover all of a Samsung S8 screen.
nice idea, but in practice I could not select any colour overlay except yellow. the underliner works to some extent when I got the hang of it, but the length of it is limited, and the default starting position set to the left side of the screen, and it's jumpy and slow to move to other positions. the phone accessibility settings has an overlay option, but I was hoping to be able to define both the colour and opacity better using this app.
