Recently moved to a subscription model. If you paid for pro you'll now have to subscribe. Not sure why they moved to a subscription model as the average user will probably only need to scan a few documents and businesses will probably choose something from a more established brand. Either way I'm moving on to a new app.
This is the best scanner app I've used. Consistently reliable and the developers are responsive to questions and problems.... that's a BIG plus. I've had this scanner for several years and while NO app is perfect, Customer Service makes All THE DIFFERENCE! WTG FOLKS! Thank you!
Very easy to use, v. reliable. I like that I can add more pages to the existing file at any time. The image is v. clear and can be adjusted before save. Very powerful
I paid for the premium app but then they decided to silently switch to a subscription model and screw over anyone who had bought premium before. This app is just taking up space unless you love watching ads. Just use Adobe Scan.
I used to own the pro version of this app and have all the full features. I accidentally uninstalled it and reinstall and now they want $3 a month for the unlimited which is ridiculous expensive.
Works good, but after some time start suggesting "special offer" to upgrade to the paid version, and actually it's impossible to scan anything if you don't accept the offer.
Great than to poor. Was Free than it went to subscription. I don't mind paying a one time fee. But not monthly or yearly. To many other options out there
App works as advertised. Add videos play as your trying to take pictures. Adds replace the icons of files as your making selections. Premium version is an overpriced subscription.
Used to love this app, but just like everyone else reviewing, it no longer works. When I try to scan, it pops up to but the premium. No other option. Bad business move, guys.
Worked well for a while and then suddenly didn't let me scan anymore unless I upgraded to a monthly or anual subscription - really poor user experience and unfortunately I can't recommend this app anymore!
Update Mar 2022- Still worth it! Just pay the $5. Been my go to app for at least 5 years. Take pic of document, crop it, and send as email in minutes. Well worth $5 for all I've used it for! It's worth it.
With so many excellent scanner apps available that can be purchased for less than what this one costs to rent, the duration of this greedy milkingware on my device ended as soon as I saw the ridiculous pricing. Uninstalled.
Works ok until they try to force you to subscribe. I would have happily paid a reasonable one off fee for a useful app, but nobody in their right mind is going to pay 4 euro a month for a scanner app, FFS like...
I like this apps so much, simple and reliable. I used this apps over 3 years, the apps size became 31GB..... I found the apps will be made one more copy after i shared the pdf via whatsapp. Is it possible to del the deplicated files? THx
Bought the pro version of this app at a flat rate and loved it. Recent update has it where i have to "pay" for a subscription to use it as I have been. I find it absolutely insane and ridiculous that I have to pay a subscription for an app I purchased. 😐
Takes the fuss out of scanning and forwarding. Simple to use. Excellent results.
Can no longer scan anything, each time I click on the camera or image icons, instead it takes me to a page to upgrade to premium...? Just make it a paid app then jeez goodbye
I bought the pro version of this app a year or so ago because I loved it so much. Now I cant even take a photo with it without being subscribed to some service. I already paid for the app! Why did you change this?
This app really helps when ever you want to do the scan any documents and can adjust the size as well..love it....👌👌
I've used this app for about 3 years now. It had been awesome in turning pictures into pdfs for sending quickly over email.
Good app nicely laid out, easy to use once you've learnt the ropes, but not too difficult, a tutorial on how to use all its features would make this 5 star
It won't let me scan. Everytime I click the camera it goes to an ad for the paid version. Useless.
Hots diggity dawgz a scanner that f&*=in' works, had it for years & never upgraded. Well I done do'ed it & I'm very impressed, can't wait to use it for ever....
This is the most dependable app I've been using for the last 7 years, it is a limited use paid only app now really sad. Ref. IOS!
I updated and now it isn't showing any of my scans. I can see them in my phone folders. How can I get them back into the app?
Easy to use. Great free option to make a PDF by simply taking a photo with your phone.
Has worked great until now. But now all I get when I try to take/upload a picture is the "special offer / upgrade to premium" window, making the app basically unusable (unless you pay that is). I would have likely bought the app if it was a flat price and not a subscription system. I get that it is getting updates, but for me they do not justify a subscription model. Not planning to pay monthly / yearly for something I will use less than 4 times a year.
It worked fine until a recent update. If you paid for the app and expect an ad free experience, this isn't it. This app still gives you ads to add 'premium features'. Moving on to something else as I expect no ads when I buy a product. It's analogous to if MS Word started displaying ads for 365 subscription while you're writing a document in your purchased single license. Unacceptable!
Lots of great features but when the "Upgrade to Premium Plan" comes on you can't scan or do anything. Every link takes you to the "Special Offer" page and will NOT return to the camera page, even when the the offer is dismissed. In addition, it starts pushing out video adds that were unsolicited. We shouldn't have to wait for a "private session" with the developer to fix this on a case by case basis. Sorry but that's just bad design!
It used to be excellent, my go-to app for scanning. Now, after the "big update", the files of previous scans are gone from my phone (did they cloud them? I gave no permission to move or delete anything!), and ads are everywhere in the app. I'll have to change apps, I guess. Update: I was asked to contact them, but received no reply.
