Tip N Split Tip Calculator

Used this app for years and absolutely loved it. Could pull it up quick and calculate tips and split checks in a snap. Now there are fullscreen ads that just waste time and cause headaches. Downloaded the sister app to "allegedly" get free upgrade to pro version with no luck. I got the confirmation that it was upgraded but nothing changed. Still have ads and I don't see any options on playstore or in settings to switch. .... will edit my review if this gets fixed.

I absolutely love this app! I use it literally every time I have to tip! I love that it lets you put in the bill total and lets you choose any of the following: -percentage -dollar amount -what you want to grand total to be And it auto-adjusts the other fields to what they'd be. Or if I want the tip or grand total to be a round, whole-dollar amount, it shows me what that would be in percentage. I haven't used the split feature yet, but I think that is very clever.

Works fine but all they want is for you to pay to upgrade to Pro. Lots of large obnoxious and intrusive pop up ads even just while in the settings. Want to save default tax rate? Pay for pro Want to tip off pre-tax amnt? Pay for pro It's cheap like $2, but screw that. I immediately uninstalled this and downloaded an actually free one that saves both of those important settings for free

Awesome stuff! Use it constantly! However, it now seems to have been HACKED since,when I try to go in, I am presented with a page for aviation consulting which then goes to an internet page warning me of attackers! I believe the app has been hacked!

I really like this app, if only there was a way to purchase it without the damn adds, especially the ones that randomly pop up trying to use the app. Cuz then, I'd give it the 5 stars it deserves. Heck if you can adapt it to use a Bluetooth barcode scanner I'd use it for my companies parts inventory.

This used to be great but now the ads are out of control. Full page ads that can't be closed and no back button. Can take several minutes to get to the app because the ads can't be closed. Time to move on.

I paid for a lifetime subscription to the Expense IQ app which is supposed to upgrade the Tip N Split app to the pro version. I had no problem until the Expense IQ app was recently updated. My Tip N Split app now has annoying ads. The developer, Handy Apps, has not even had the courtesy to reply to numerous emails I sent. I spoke to Google support and they are useless, too! Save your money, avoid them!

Used to love this app for the ease of its use. The ads were tolerable. Now after the new version was released, the app crashes and won't open. I ended up needing to uninstall it and find a new app. Very disappointing.

been using app for long time, ads appeared prior to closing, with recent updates ads appear at the start, and are hard to close, I am considering uninstalling and finding another app that has less intrusive ads, my suggestion is to pass on this one!

Uninstalled once I started seeing full screen ads WITH SOUND on launch. That's always a hit at a nice restaurant with a new date. Good job screwing that up. Maybe you'd like to move to a premium subscription model next....

Use to love it. Then a full page ad loads everyone you open it. Takes longer to load now then the ad starts blasting the video. Then you're looking to turn the volume down and waiting on the X to appear to close it.

I USED to love this app but now those stupid ads come on and there is no way to "x" them away, and the "back" button doesn't even work! I'll check in a few months to see if they've fixed this annoying thing and I MAY reinstall it. Goodbye for now!!

runs in background using up ram. after using for years, i uninstalled and switched to smart tip calculator which has no permissions, no ads, no background running.

Use to love this app, even purchased the pro option but after one of the upgrades starting getting all the ads again! I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still get ads! Not happy!

Says you can upgrade to pro for free if you download and use expense IQ app but it never removes the ads like advertised. Very misleading and deceptive. Will be uninstalling and using a free tip app with no ads.

it's a good app, but full page ads is where I draw the line. there are several other good apps that can do the same with less obtrusion.

Why on earth would anybody use a tip calculator/bill splitter to buy stocks, IF one can, which I greatly doubt! I do not use this often, but it works fine when I do!

I really appreciate that it mentions that not every waiter in the U.S. makes a livable wage because they get tips! I have a friend in Texas that works as a waitress and only makes $2.13 an hour even though the federal minimum wage is $7.25 an hour because she gets tips (which I think is complete bs because not everyone tips! or tips well enough!)

I used to love this easy & simple app, but the last frefew updates now force you to see a full page ad in your face the minute you open it. So annoying and unnecessary.

This is app is junk, it says get pro version free if you download expense Iq. So I download expense Iq and buy lifetime of that only to not have a pro version and have a bunch ads, deleted both and staying away from this developer. One thing to have ads but to be bombarded no Thank you.

Used to be good, After years of using this app, it let me down at a critical lunch. Thankfully I was able to calculate myself what I needed, but that's the whole point of the app! Farewell. It was a wonderful app for so long!

used to be good until they start noisy ad. In addition, a deceptive tactic of luring to install another APP from their company with the promise of FREE upgrade to PRO version. Don't trust this company anymore. There are so many alternatives.

Love this app, used it for years, and love the integration with expenceiq but recently crashing when hit the integrated expenseiq button would be 5 stars otherwwise. Samsung s20 ultra Please fix the integration between apps, want to give you 5 stars

Not only do the ads ruin the experience but the full size ads block the entire calculator and doesn't allow for it to be used.

Had this App for years ... then strange adds or something happened ! ...Get this like maybe a game insist on downloading it idk ... I'd ex out and try again .. nope it was the most annoying thing ever... I immediately uninstalled it ... I totally DO NOT RECOMEMD THIS APP !

It's terrible. The ads come on and you can't get rid of them without restarting your phone. It used to be fantastic. I would NOT recomnend.

Super easy to use. Helps tremendously with figuring out a tip or discount. Would be lost with out tip n split.

A fantastic app for figuring out your tip on any food bill & if the bill is being split up, exactly how much everybody owes. Keep up the great work Handy Apps!

What happened? Had this app for years and now it does not work. The ad comes up, which it always has and when you try to enter the amount to figure out the tip it closes up.
