TitanTV

Titan TV is the best TV guide I have found so far. Titan TV allows you to select which channels listings are or are not displayed However titan TV has one major flaw, for me at least... when using it often the app freezes at log in, and I must log out and log back in to have the app function again. I might have an outdated version of Titan TV, or I might have an incompatible Android phone, but if these are not the causes of the login issue, then I can only hope someone will fix the problem.

Like others have said, when the app works it's great. I love the personalized listings and clean, easy to read look; it's the best TV listings app out there. Unfortunately, after a while it always stops working and you have to uninstall and reinstall it. It's happened on many different phones that I've owned. If that glitch is fixed I'd gladly change my review to 5 stars!

I have used this app for years and it's been wonderful. However, the last update on July 9th change the background from black to white. The program titles are now very hard to read. Also, when in landscape mode 3/4 of the screen is wasted. I can only see four channels at a time now. Wish they would turn it back to a black background and not waste space.

Really like the format of this app. it shows the programs for each channel in rows, making it very easy to see the schedule for an evening. It's also easy to get more info on any show. The reason for not making this 5 stars is this: Every few weeks it loses the channel lineups and I can't get them back. I have to uninstall and reinstall the app. Then it works fine for another few weeks until I have to do it again. I continue the uninstall/reinstall annoyance--I really prefer it to other TV apps.

Good TV guide, nice personalization options. Sometimes it will quit working and I have to uninstall/ reinstall, but I like it enough that I keep it. Update: It still stops working where you have to uninstall/ reinstall, so no one is reading the reviews and doesn't care. But wait, there's more! I'll pull up the app, and it defaults to 7 pm the current day, as I have it set up. I'll pick a show to get the info on it, hit the back button, and it'll go to the previous day. Annoying.

Now 8 months later and the problem continues ..... When it DOES work it's good, but in the few months of using it I've had to uninstall and reinstall more than a dozen times because it shuts down and won't open. Now it doesn't open even after many attempts and restarting the phone. Very frustrating! Two months later - I'm still uninstalling and reinstalling to get it to work.

It's a pretty good app but I have to reinstall it every few weeks because it will quit working. That said it's still better than most guides. If you want to make changes to your lineups it works better to go to the website instead of the app. A few bugs but pretty easy to work around. I gave up on cable and satellite TV so it's great for YouTube TV, Hulu and Philo

The website works well and provides a needed service in an easy to use format. The app is pathetic. The app often fails to communicate with its server despite strong signal. When it does properly open, it frequently can not find listing for my area. The user interface is twitchy and often changes times and days while brousing listings. I like the website. It works and has far fewer service interuptions than the app.

This used to be one of the best TV apps. Now, because of 'entertainment videos' and other ads, and a failure to update channel schedules and lineups, it's one of the worst. UPDATE: I was able to fix the problem with the ads, but the schedule/lineup for Quest TV still has not been updated after many months.

I wish there was an option for setting a show reminder whereby the app would text you "x" minutes before the show starting (where you could set the x value). Most other TV apps have that feature. Otherwise, it has a good clean looking interface, but limited functionality. Their mobile website version is just as good if you need to save space on your phone by not loading the app and just simply bookmarking their site while logged in with your favorite browser.

I've used TitanTV for years on my PC. When I started using TitanTV...it was the best on the market. i started using the app maybe 7-8 years ago. Don't know if the owners have changed hands, and not sure what other users are expecting...but for what need, it's good. You can pick broadcast or satellite (cable) and if the show has past...you can go BACK in time. Again, not sure what other users are looking for, but just to find an episode title, year, and whats on... that's all I need. 5*

04/18/22 Still same. 11/22/21 Was good. Now just white screen with gray boxes at the top, but the ads are sure there.

I have used Titan TV for years ony computer and an iphone. The android app is glitchy. more often than not, it doesn't save my info. I have to re enter my zip and line up. I just read in my settings that it was designed for an older version of android. Update this wonderful TV guide please.

Most complete and accurate listing of over-the-air stations I've found and I love the favorites and customization functionality. And when the internet connection goes down at the house, this app works perfectly for still being able to see what's on.

Worked well but is now broken, just shows an option to select Google add images.

Via web was gawd-awful since video ads Thought app might help. Nope. Must be lack of server strength at their end. To TitanTV, (and the advertisers) would suggest dropping the videos because thruput is awful. Not going to wait 60 seconds for middle ad to load to ' see what's on'. Plenty of alternatives. Uninstalling.

I love this app! I'm surprised more people don't use it, but it's been invaluable to me since I don't have cable television but receive antenna service from 2 viewing areas. I'm so disappointed to see that they haven't been able to upgrade this to newer versions of operating systems. I will keep using it, however, until I can use it no more. Again, I love this app.

When it works, it's great! It occasionally locks up and I have to delete and reinstall the app. Then we're back in business. 18 months later, & same issue keeps popping up.

Works for me. A lot easier to read and more accurate than the other listings app I had.

It's buggy... It will suddenly stop working as if I had signed out, with no apparent way to sign back in except to uninstall and reinstall the app. The TitanTV website has more features than the app anyway, so you might not want to bother installing it.

Started using TitanTV when the TV Guide app became unusable. Suddenly Titan quit working; I tried un/reinstall, still doesn't work. Tried reentering my email and password...won't accept any of my passwords and there's no way to reset it! More than a little frustrated!

App crashes every time. It shows today's listings then it goes back 24 hours. Very frustrating ! I have to turn off the app and restart it only to have it happen all over again.

Great basic TV Guide App Works welll with only one annoying bug. If the app cannot find listings, log out then log back in. Works well for over the air and various Cable networks. Best if set up online with a computer using a regular web browser

This is a good channel guide, when it loads, which is only about half the time. Locks up while loading ads, so useless. I'd be happy to pay for an ad free version that actually works.

Fits 8" tablet space perfectly legible. Allows to add/subtract channels regardless of provider (mine antenna) & choose favorite shows. If/when it might crash=uninstall, re-install with account & it resets your choices immediately upon login.

Undependabe. When it works, its great. I just open the app and its perfect. but once in a while, like now, it goes from perfect to useless and blocks and says i.need to log in, whuch i normally don't need to.. and when I try, it still won't let me sign in.

This app/service sells your personal information to advertisers & if that's not enough of an invasion of privacy, it's asking for my location. Of course I denied it, & you should too. I want nothing else to do with this app, & will be finding an alternative service for TV listings. I would suggest you do the same. If they were using it explicitly to find me provider for my TV listings, that would be one thing, but I'm not letting them sell that too.

App worked on an older phone, but not on two newer phones. Loads sucessfully, but then promptly locks up and doesn't respond. Uninstall/Reboot/Reinstall produces same result. Basically unuseable.

This is really the only game in town. But it is full of bugs and idiosyncrasies. The latest "update" (wish I had not updated) now displays text poorly. Fix this and it is worthwhile.

Go to register put my email address on and this BS app keeps telling me my email address is an invalid email address. This email addtess is 18 years old. It has been a legitmate email account since 2001. They have sent me emails to that account. If this is the BS I can look forward to from having an account here then maybe this site is not for me.
