The TKTS Discount Booths have become an international destination for theatre lovers from the United States and around the world since 1973. There are three locations in New York City:
(1) Times Square – Broadway and 47th Street, Manhattan, "under the red steps"
(2) South Street Seaport – at the corner of Front and John Streets, Manhattan
(3) Downtown Brooklyn – in 1 MetroTech Center, at the corner of Jay Street and Myrtle Avenue, Brooklyn
The Official TKTS app is offered exclusively by Theatre Development Fund (TDF), the not-for-profit service organization for the performing arts, which operates the TKTS Discount Booths.

This app does one thing. It shows what's available and what has typically been available at the TKTS booths in NYC. It works perfectly. If you want other information, go elsewhere.
Useless. No prices, no seat availability. No ability to buy
Just installed it and it won't even load. Deleting it immediately.

This app is so helpful and easy to use.
The app only offers TKTS information and does not allow TDF members to access their content (like available offers, orders, purchased tickets, etc).
I really wished that I haven't updated it. It crashes all the time and the images make it slower to load. It was better with the previous version where it's simple, fast and easy to use. To the developers, please re upload the old version and improve the current one.
Looks 5. Function 1. Like so many apps/programs anymore, the developers place more value in appearance than functionality. Wish I had never updated. Previous version was so clean, simple and easy to use. New version sure is pretty, but who cares what it looks like if it takes forever to find useful information? If you enjoy scrolling endlessly then this is the app for you.
I have installed and uninstalled twice. It keeps crashing when you click on a show to view. Pointless app, too unstable. Use website instead.
Constantly crashes. You are better off using the website.
The old version was so much better. They ruined a perfectly good app. I just want to see the list of shows at the TKTS booth. I don't want to scroll and scroll and scroll. Awful! No need to overcomplicate what should be a simple app.

I just want to see what shows are on the board before I head to TSQ. I know the list will change a bit by the time I get there. Instead of an easy to scan list with thumbnail graphics the new version has tiles that almost fill the screen for each show. Fail. Endless scrolling is required to see all the shows.
It worked great before the update. Now it crashes immediately upon clicking a show.
App is very slow to load info and crashes if you try to click on anything.
It's so much more polished than the old app!
We used the app to know what plays were available, and could not find anything else that put everything in one place. However, the information is not updated, so prices and times may be wrong. Also, if a price range is provided, it is likely that the discount rate is applied against the highest price in the range.
It shows what it on the boards real time, which is super convenient. You can check what is available without having to go all the way over.
