Used to be a good study tool, but with each update becomes more unstable. Sadly, after the most recent update it won't even open. Digital products have become so unreliable, the only choice is to go back to the printed Word.
Once I click on the Torah portion to start reading it closes the app. Sometimes a message reveals it has a bug, but this has been happening for two weeks now. New update is nice, but I loved when the Torah portion was read to me.
I like the idea that your Bible gets us back to what the bible really says in the Greek and the Hebrew from what God not only gave just the Hebrews but all of us without messing up and adding to the word because we're not supposed to be using the new language of the Greek or the Hebrew because that takes away of what the Hebrew and the Greek back then meant when it was originally written because every time you do that it's not the same and I'm going to own my own hard copy before you know it ✡️✝
I'm paying $4.99 (I don't mind), but the new update took alot from the original app. It's now as bible lesson, but it doesn't open up. It keeps saying for me to update to TLV 3.0.....I have, I don't like this app any more..... Please fix.....
Love it. I just hate you cannot highlight and cannot be used in the car for audio bible.
Absolutely the best version of God's word, and the subscription price is affordable and supports further development.
Since my change to obeying Father YAHAWAH's Instructions (TORAH) in His Word I can only say the TLV Bible is useful in gaining more knowledge of YESHUA and our Father.
The app will not pick up where you left off. There is also no bookmark function. I also found some misleading information in the glossary section. I updated the app hoping these issues may have been fixed, but instead it appears the update further limited my access to other sections. The version seems decent, but I am likely deleting the app as I have found much better ones with no limits.
Your can't bookmark, can't continue reading from where you left off. The app seems more interested with you getting a subscription, and advertising all the special features it has, rather than just the Word itself. Even reading the scriptures is difficult because it's a small box you click surrounded by other boxes that lead to their devotionals, special features, etc. Overall it is terribly done.
April 2022 when I heard and listened to how this TLV version came about. Amazing how in the hearts of the Jews and Gentiles because of the love of God in them rolled their sleeves together to bring back the Jewishness of the Holy Scriptures from where it was all rooted. The words ADONAI and Adonai are just few of the examples that made this helpful from a Gentile eyes. English words are constantly changing and going back to it's original meaning is very helpful for the student of the Word.
I can only read a chapter at a time you cant "turn the page" ex :when im done reading verse 25 i have to go back up to the search bar and click verse 26 to keep reading and if the night time mode is on it automatically switches back to being bright again as soon as you switch to the next verse. also no book mark either and as soon as you close the app it loses your place on where you were reading. nice for looking up a verse but not for reading all the way through.
New update not functional. Very sad for me because I love the TLV version :-(
Very good. Enjoying reading the Hebraic words of the scriptures. But it only allows you to share the app itself and lacks the functionality to share the bible passage you're currently reading (which could be of some encouragement to family member or friend who need it) be it via email, text, or WhatsApp. Please developers, tweak the program to enable this like other bible apps. Much thanks.
I love the TLV and the app with all its features that I'm just now learning about. It is a living example of the way ADONAI is bringing His people together. As it says in Ephesians 2: 13-14, But now in Messiah Yeshua, you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of the Messiah. For He is our shalom, the One who made the two into one and broke down the middle wall of separation. Many thanks to the TLV creators for stepping out in faith!
It was a great app and what i wanted until i tried to open it off-line away from my wi-fi connection. Allow the app 2 open off line.
Pretty good! Sometimes the narration doesn't work!😬 So you just have to read it which makes the app pointless.
Loving the full access level of your app! We've gifted our family members with hard copies of the TLV Bible but it's so nice to have it in digital form as well and love the children's resources! We use them with our grandchildren.
Love this app!! Jam packed with information. Clear, concise and easy to navigate. It has everything you can think of. If you're interested in having an app that can deepen study time then this is one for you.
It is most appreciated. Having access to the digitized Hebrew scrolls is most precious to me. Thank you for the continued hard work being put into this.
Love the interaction between the Bible and notes and definitions. Very helpful and easy to use.
It would have been nice if I could have started reading at chapter 16 of Genesis where I had been on my laptop. Actually I have a small smart phone and don't have room to update.
Wonderful App! I use it everyday in some form or fashion. Love the new additions and I'm excited to see what else is coming to the TLV Bible app!
I have enjoyed this app with torah portions
Fantastic bible translation and app. Shows the Jewishness of Jesus the Christ (Yeshua Messiah). Well done and thankyou. Goes well with my beautiful paper copy of the tlv.
The idea of jewish handling of jewish script is good. But being born of God's grace I have some issues. Namely what I downloaded is missing Revelation. So I am uninstalling.
i like it but it hangs when try to excess three or four times. But I like it because it is accurate.
UPDATE: I updated the app today and all is working well now. Thanks for fixing the bugs for Android 12. It was a great app; everyone in our family had it as it made it easy to read the Torah together. With the recent update, however, it crashes every time I try to open the weekly reading. Very disappointing.
