To do list
1. All notes: A list of all your notes (tasks, products, wishes, etc.), typically divided into sub-lists; 2. Today: A list of tasks or other notes that need short term attention;3. People: A list of tasks associated with, or assigned to, specific persons, so a to-do list per person;4. Places: A list of tasks associated with specific locations, so a to-do list per location.
Another nice feature is the archive. Use it to show tasks or notes that have been completed/deleted in the last 3 months. For example, the tasks you completed today or yesterday, or all completed tasks for "Project X" in the past month. Furthermore, you can restore (accidentally) deleted notes from the archive, or supplement a grocery list with archived products (you bought before), so without the need to re-enter these products.
Other features are:
• Automatic detection of websites, email addresses and phone numbers.
• Search your collection of notes by keyword and browse through the search result.
• Choose the date on which a task should appear in the list Today.
• Get a reminder (notification) when a scheduled task appears in the list Today.
• Define recurring tasks that show up, say, every Wednesday or every 1st of the month.
• View all scheduled tasks for the list Today and change them if you want.
• Create folders inside a folder. The number of levels is unlimited (multi-level).
• Easily move a note (or a folder) from one folder to another.
• Drag a note into a (sub-)folder (with undo).
• Swipe a note to the left to move it back to the parent folder (with undo).
• Swipe a note to the right to delete (with undo).
• Delete multiple notes easily (useful for erasing a shopping list).
• Sort a list automatically by alphabet, creation date, folder, struck-through or text color.
• Define your own color sequence for sorting.
• Use the widget to show the list “Today” on your home screen.
• Create shortcuts on your home screen to your lists and sub-lists.
• Email and print your to-do lists or shopping lists.
• Import notes from ordinary text files.
• Make a backup of all your notes and preferences and restore when needed.
• Email your backup file, for example to your new smartphone.
• Lock your shopping list when you are in the grocery store.
• Change the appearance of ForAnyList. Choose from seven predefined themes.
• Mini tutorial when starting ForAnyList for the first time.
• Help is available (but you probably won't need it).
• Use ForAnyList in portrait or landscape mode.
There is also a free trial version available in the Google Play Store. Search for “ForAnyList To-Do List". The free version of ForAnyList offers exactly the same functionality as this regular version, except that the maximum number of folders (read: sub-lists) is limited to 10.
The only permission ForAnyList needs, is the right to access external storage for reading and writing backup files and import/export files.
To-do list, check list, wish list or shopping list. It makes no difference. This list manager is FOR ANY LIST.

Brilliant! This app addresses a number of things that I wish other organizer apps did. I have looked for a very long time for some of the features offered in this app. A unique, extraordinarily well thought out approach to organizing your tasks. I have tried kanban boards, list apps, task apps, even Eisenhower matrix apps. This one beats them all. Great app! There's a free version to try out first if you're not sure. Thank you! 👍
wOw... this is an amazing work, an incredibly well-written software that is Priced very fairly ......... I had been searching an app like this app for years and most recently in the past 2 months. I've also recently tried over 100 aps that seemed might do close to what your app does, but not found. ......... Thank you so much for your amazing work .. #1 the ability to add totals, wOw! I downloaded the free version of this app and after 10 minutes, I purchased the pro version. It is a superbly useful tool which has many options and settings. You can create many different types of lists with different colours. You can even secure lists with your fingerprint. I could not find how to do this but an email to a very responsive dev provided me with the answer. A simple but effective way of securing your notes. This is a truly great app with a very supportive dev. Highly recommended.
My old list maker wouldn't transfer to new phone. I found this. Amazingly powerful and flexible, with database like functionality, all done with simple lists. I'm very visual, so the ability to color entries (and sort by color, among many other choices) was just what I was looking for. When I discovered how to link items to places or people items (again, so easily!) my world changed. Pro is worth every penny. GREAT app.
Awesome! Does everything. I especially like the widget automated shortcut method to directly open a note related to any person, place, phone number, video -- ANY note without drilling down into the app. Also there is a user manual in the main menu. The developer has thought of everything. Good show. Hard to imagine any improvements.
I use this app on a daily basis. It's very functional with lots of extras. The developer is attentive to customer requests for ideas and app improvements. The wait is never long before he has an update available. I considered switching to an iPhone but I couldn't find a comparable app like (To-Do-List) so it was a no brainer to stay with an Android phone.
Wow! What a versatile app for lists! Just what I was looking for: Does checklists, shopping lists, itemized (numbered) lists (plus basic lists). And a great set of additional features: Sort, attach pics, set reminders & such, folders & sub-folders (unlimited in number & sub-levels in paid version), allows "locking" a list on the screen (great for shopping lists), etc... And each item in a list or folder can have a different colored font--some 10+ different colors. Polished appearance as well.
Nearly perfect - After 10 minutes review purchased the paid version however the linkage between the 2 devices I use (chromebook and android phone) is virtually non existant and will need to buy a second licence. As an app - it is a good alternative to abstractspoon todolist for the chromebook
Use this app as a daily to do list for most part. I like ability to set recurring dates on some tasks. Copy feature is great too. It's like a system of little notebooks to keep one organized!

This is superb. I can organise tasks as subitems in folders, attach relevant documents, notes and images to the tasks, organise by people and place and set precise schedules on each task. This is so well thought out.

This is an excellent app! It is not only a to-do list app but it is versitile enough to create projects (by making a folder) with action points (by making lists in that folder). The author is extremely responsive to questions & suggestions (I had an issue with the 1st day of the week and you see the author's answer below) and all the information stays on your phone instead of putting it out on the web. What more could you ask? I highly recommend it!
