To Read – Reading List

The idea is great, execution not so much. I miss a grid view and rectangular covers (they are round, cutting off a lot of the cover, what an odd choice). Last update was in 2016. I think this app got abandoned by the developer so I didn't purchase the pro unlock as I believe this app is no longer supported so there is no hope for changes or new features. Sad because it is a neat little app, but quite limited as well.

My only complaint is that YOU CAN ONLY HAVE 3 FOLDERS! Its really annoying + one slot is already used up because of the default "My Books" folder. Please fix this! Oh yeah, its also annoying that you can't customize the order of books in a folder. Thanks!

Very simple and easy to use. Only two complaints are that I cannot edit the title of a folder after I create it or create a custom order of books - I would need to delete the whole list and redo it if I want to change the folder name or create a custom order. Can you add this text edit function for folder names and a custom organization system?

The apps works fine. Some additions might be helpful: add personal meta data to books, change order of folders / edit name, separate "reading" category (next to "to read" and "finished", a separate "wishlist" from "to read", Excel or csv export, number of pages, search for books from a specific language only

I have used and enjoyed this app for 3 years, but now it won't let me add a new folder and is stuck in a loop. It says I can't do this without upgrading, but I already have upgraded and it confirms I have paid. However when I try to add a 3rd folder it says I need to upgrade. Help! I like the app but will have to download a different one if this has stopped working properly.

This is a great app and it's why I'm giving it 5 stars. The only issue I have is once you add books to your list you can't manually move them into the order you would like them to be. It would be nice if you could manually arrange the books in the order you wanted so you could put them in the order you would prefer to read them with the book you aren't either currently reading or preparing to read on top while the last book you're planning to read would be on the bottom.

Greg, I really liked your app. It is really good. However one addon I would like to suggest is the ability to set priority/rank for books. I should be able to drag and drop books from top to bottom in the order I prefer. This way I know the next book in the queue that I need to buy.

Really enjoying this app. Simple and easy lists, and especially enjoy how easy it is to add books, including the camera function. Wondering what happens when I have to install this app on a new phone, which is not far away. Will I lose all my records?

Had it for 3 years now. Bought the pro version so I can add more folders. But starting last year, it doesn't allow me to create more folders and wants me to buy the PRO again.

I really like the idea of this app, but not being able to sort the lists for series of books puts me off using it and not being able to search.

Please help. I bought the pro. But it keeps telling i can only put 3 authors in side bar. I must buy the pro. When i want to do it it keeps telling me i own the pro! Adelaide

I can't add anymore books now. Whenever I try to add a new book it says 'bad internet connection' although I have a properly working wifi which is very fast.

App is great. Found all the books titles I was looking for. It would've been great if I had the option to arrange books.

The main feature I wanted from this app was to be able to create an ordered list of the books I want to read next. This basic feature apparently doesn't exist in this app. Ridiculous.

Serves its purpose. I think it would be good to have like a roulette or random picker on what to read next on your to be read list.

You can't search the list or export it. Pretty much useless app.

It's a nice app but it's of no use to me because i wanted to keep record of my mangas and that's not available...

exactly what i was looking for

I've been looking for an app to do two things. The first to list in order my book series, then to list the books I want also in series order. This does the trick. Superb that you can edit the title to put a number in front so you can put your books in order. For example I set up a folder called James Patterson. Then I put all the Michael Bennett books in the folder. Then I went through and put 1 in front of the title of the first book, 2 in front of the title of the second, 3 in front of the third etc etc. Then I set up a 'to buy' folder and put the books I wanted in there. The only thing that didn't work was searching on James Patterson not all of the books came up, I had to search for the co author. However this is the closest app to what I want that I have found.

Be warned - create a backup just in case! I thought this app was ideal for its purpose, so I paid for it. Titles were easy to add, but a few weeks ago my phone spontaneously did a factory reset, and I hadn't backed up my list. All my titles were lost. I'd prefer to be able to set up an automatic backup to Dropbox or Google Drive for when the worst happens.

This is close to what I'm looking for in a book reading list. So far, the search seems to list all books for an author including most recent releases. Some things that would make this a 5/5 app for me: Add sort by publication date. Add ability to add entire catalog for an author to folder. Add ability to sync with other devices. Add ability to export as text, .csv, excel file formats Add ability to change folder name. If possible, instead of removing book from list when finished reading book, place a check-mark to right of listed book. I would pay for these additional features

The barcode scanner doesn't work when the phone is in the upright position, I have to flip it the the side for it to work. It doesn't detected old books and rare-ish books when other apps can do this just fine. It doesn't do a good job when you search for a book and there are different editions of the same book. UI seems weird, I know how it works but the filter system is confusing and OCD inducing, pls fix it. I really like this app but it needs some work. I'll change my rating to 5/5 when that's done.
