Toast Source
If so, this app can help you track down their source. It will show a notification with originating program's name, icon or save info about a toast, so you can check it later. Then, you can quickly launch it or go to a system screen with more info about the app.
IMPORTANT:
For app to work, you must launch it and click "ENABLE SERVICE" button which will open system settings panel with a list of available accessibility services. There, go to "Toast Source Detection Service" and enable it. After finding out problematic app, you can disable service without any worries.
App does not have internet permission, so it won't be able to send toast contents to me or anybody else.
This app uses Accessibility services. They are used for detecting toasts and reading their contents as well as metadata (like name and identifier of the app that generated a toast).

After a recent update, I started getting a gray box with "Failed to load". It was really a nuisance because it was right in the middle of my screen and it made text messages impossible to read. Had I known it was something so simple as an app notification from a website that apparently reloads every 30 seconds it would have driven me nuts! It was fixed just seconds after I downloaded Toast Source. Thanks to the developers for creating a solution to those of us who are not so savvy!
Downloaded this app to remove annoying toast notification - network not found,switching to other network something like that . I have a Xiaomi phone as well so got the service not running problem as well . Fix : to fix the service not running issue in xiaomi . 1.Hold both the volume buttons to open accessibility menu. 2. In xiaomi phones they have talkback enabled for that shortcut . 3. Click on edit shortcuts and choose toast source as the only option for this shortcut. That fixed it.
Thank you thank you thank you. Had some random app popping toast notifications in Portuguese. I have nothing against Portuguese, but I'm not in Portugal & don't speak the language so wft? Anyhoo, once I figured out what a toast notification is, I soon stumbled upon this app & will be forever grateful. It worked, so now I'm off to leave a less positive review for the offending app. Thanks again.
Precise and accurate. Good layout and ease of use. The intercepted toasts are clearly listed with the originating app's name + date and time, with options to copy the toast, open the info window of the originating app or launch the app. Solves the mystery of which app sends the toast with the mystery info. In my case - AutoInput sending cryptic toasts. Now I know which app is the problem. Excellent app.
What a lifesaver! I've been tormented by this toast from this app that I haven't even opened in weeks. Why this isn't built into Android OS as part of the notification tracker is a mystery to me. But after some hours of research and going through settings, removing random apps, Toast Source found the culprit within seconds!
Does exactly what it advertises. I was able to identify the app that was generating a certain toast notification on my phone every time it came out of standby. I was able to delete the culprit app. Thanks for this simple yet effective tool!
It's a must! It works smooth and perfect. Only one request. Can you make it selective? I want to raise some toast to notification level and i like to control from wich app i want the notifications. In this way we can use the app for other purpouse too, not only to observe every toast source. Good job. Ty
I had a toast appear and I had no idea what app has generated it. I remembered that I had had this app installed before, but removed it because I felt it was using too much memory for its function. Almost as soon as I reinstalled this, it provided the answer as to which app was generating the toast. Review will remain five stars as long as I don't run into memory issues.
Sorry I missed your last reply 2 weeks ago. I just now happened to notice that the shortcut shows up for me on Nova now; even though nothing else significant was changed. Please accept my apology. You rock! UPDATE: I just tried switching over to the built-in but relatively lame LG Home Launcher and yes, the shortcut is there. But I use Nova Launcher, and restarting it makes no difference. (Neither does restarting the whole phone). So if it can't show up with Nova, then I'll just do without, as before. I still love it anyway though; so sincerely, thanks again. -------- Was looking forward to having direct access to the list with the new shortcut, but I can't find it. Even uninstalled and reinstalled. Launcher, widgets, app shortcuts; no sign anywhere. Running Android 10 on an LG G8X. By the way, I have been installing this app faithfully for years, and I must apologize for taking so long to rate and review. It's a Godsend, plain and simple. Thank you for being someone smart enough to enable a missing Android feature that should have always been there in the first place!

I don't often write app reviews, but this is a stunningly simple solution to a problem that had plagued me on Android for years. This app identifies toasts, that's it. And it does so expertly, and with a shockingly clever UI. Kudos!
The accessibility permission is disabled by the app itself again and again. ▶ Edit: Okay, maybe. But none of the other apps with accessibility permissions (7) have that problem. I own a Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact / Android 6.0.1 (unrooted). It works great. I'm sorry, but if the app isn't compatible with this device, then that is no testimony to particularly high programming skills.
Great app to let you know what app is popping up what toast messages what I need is an app where I can shorten the time limit on how long the toast messages stay on the screen. Google messed with it about 4 months ago and they are now really slow on disappearing from my screen! I'll have like 6 to 8 toast messages backed up when I get finished deleting texts messages for example. When is the setting where my toast messages will disappear after like .15's of a second?
I had a ongoing issue with constant 'no network detected, please try again later' messages on my Pixel 3. Installed this app and it very quickly found the source, enabling me to solve the problem. This is an excellent, easy to use app.
Saved my phone form factor resetting. There was a pesky app sending pop up message (toast) of 'Alarm Set' and I was cursing my clock app. Thanks to your app I detected that buggy app and uninstalled it.
Downloaded it to catch an app giving unwanted notifications, but it itself is bugging me with a more repetitive and more annoying 'service not running' notification, inspite of enabling everything required by the app. Uninstalling.

Nice and clean and doesn't seem to miss anything. Though the one "thing" I would like is the ability to export to a .csv file or such so that I can do a better analysis of what my phone is doing and when. That's why only 4 stars.

I installed it to find that annoying app causing network not available notification. This awesome app found it within 15 minutes. Now i uninstalled and reinstalled that app which was zee5:(. Problem solved. Now i can use my phone relaxed
One of the best problem-solving/debugging apps when dealing with badly developed apps or you can't figure out where that annoying toast is coming from.
Great app. Helped me get rid of an anoying toast that said "Tak bisa terhubung dengan server in-app purchase." Had to uninstall it the first time because it broke, but good app.
Hi, I enable the toast within the app but gets disabled automatically and I am still not able to find out which app is causing the problem.. please let me know what could be the problem

I LOVE THIS APP! It works perfectly and helped me eliminate the annoying app that was working my toast notifications.
So, this gives you a notification of a notification. Does not allow you to block the toast notifications, which is why I downloaded it.
Excellent app. I have two annoying toasts popping up. One says "already copied to clipboard" every time I paste something. This app helped me find that Samsung Keyboard was responsible. But it didn't pick up the source of another toast which says "no internet connection" and "your internet was restored." Any idea how I can find the source of that one?
