Toast Wallet

I used this wallet to restore a seed from three old ripple desktop wallet I had in 2017, and I like the app. Seems simple and secure. Transactions need to default sort chronologically with recent ones at the top, though, but not too big of a deal.

Couldn't recover my wallet when I changed devices. The backup code wouldn't work. Also I'm not sure how secure it is to copy 30 lines of code then have to send it via some other method to a new device. The devs should find a more elegant and secure method I think.

Simple and easy to use. No idea how so many people are failing to to save their backup code. You're warned so many times when setting up the wallet.

Successfully restored wallet. Not accepting recovery passphrase. I can access my account, but cannot make any transactions. assets are effectively "frozen". This is the major difference between a 1 star and a 5 star rating. Please help. I will give it 3 for now.

Fantastic app. Just remember to be patient for the user interface to load up at the beginning. All my keys are restored from my old wallet. I'm very happy with this new app/wallet.

The app is simple, clean and fast, UI is terrible but I Don't care. For me the reason of 5/5 Star is smooth and flawless product. Good job guys keep it up and running.

Despite all the FUD I see in the reviews, it's a great simple app. There are a lot of passphrases and codes to remember but anyone with the minimum amount of responsiblity of ones own money can handle it appropriately. Highly suggest a dedicated device used for accessing Toast on a freshly wiped device and keep it sec ured as well as hard backups of your passphrases and recoveries.. this should be a no brainer in the cryptoworld.

I really hate to give a bad review to something which is opensource, but my experience was terrible. I own up to forgetting my passphrase, but the UX is terrible to try and resolve the issue, the recovery codes given don't work and my experience trying to resolve it with the community was equally bad. I just kept being told what I was experiencing wasn't possible. Stay away until they improve the UX and value people using it.

I have tried to email you but you will not respond , My phone was stolen but I have my backup codes and they will not recover my xrp. Somebody bloody contact me to sought this mess out before I start looking for a legal process .Your terms and conditions stated that you should copy your backup codes and passwords well i did and they are not working now so do the right thing and fix it !

Unable to recover my wallet on a new device. Even though I took screenshots of the phrase and key, typed the recovery key character for character I keep getting an error message that there's a mistake in my key. How?

Great wallet app, love that it's open source and doesn't store the contents of your wallet online. Anyone know whether you can restore a backup using only the backup code and a paper key? Or do I need something else

Downloaded this app about a year ago, wrote down my seed words, created a passphrase, followed all instructions, transferred a good amount of xrp to it..fast forward to today..go to open wallet for the first time in a while.. enter my 6 digit pin...nothing no wallet..try to enter seed words..nothing..passphrase..nothing...do yourself a favor and buy a ledger..nothing on ur phone is safe in this day and age.

Great Wallet! Straight forward and simple to use. Make sure to follow their set up steps closely and you'll have plenty of success.

Have to uninstall and reinstall Everytime I ever want to open the wallet. It's beyond a hassle and so therefore, I have to say goodbye, forever. Hope y'all can fix your issues.

I open my toast wallet one day and 966 xrp had been sent to a random address. It shows the details to the transaction but I can do nothing about it. I've emailed multiple times and no response.

- edit - ok so they added a big red banner explaining the 20xrp hold on the ledger. i understand its out of the devs control but less than a year ago the first time i used toast it wasnt brought to my attention or i didnt notice it so was unaware at the time i deposited funds. good to see the chage. to the moon!!

It's easy to use, simply copy the backup code in a safe place and recover your wallet by re-copying it when needed.

Just recently restored from backup & input the saved keys - works fine. I'm still using version 3.0 - is it depreciated?

Is this app safe? I can't use it offline, without internet connection, I should be able to store my XRP offline not on your servers and acces them just through internet connection. If this app shout down their business, what happen with my XRP? If you say is offline, why I can't acces my wallet without internet connection?

This wallet is very secured and efficient, If we follow their instructions carefully at the beginning I don't think we'll experience any problems in future.

After entering the same backup code you guys generated for me, it keeps popping up that the code is incorrect. Is that a strategy to lock us out of our own funds? I'm disappointed.

created a new account and tried to send xrp to it above minimum but exchange giving me error message so checked online to activate account and it wants me to send the minimum 20xrp through a payment for paypal instead? seems odd.

problem to login , after factory reset my device , I cant access to my wallet , I have passcode and ..... wallet havent any email to help us.

so far so good I have been able to send to different platforms and receive from different platforms in seconds to my amazement. it's my first time using it so I'm still learning but it's been a relief so far. The storm is yet to come so we'll see if toast protects us who can't afford ledgers here in S.A. How can we reach mass adoption if the platforms and exchanges are robbing us like the banks? fingers crossed pls don't let me down toast.

it's not giving me "tag" using the app. so if someone will gonna send me XRP, they dont have to put a "tag" just my XRP wallet address, is that correct? will change my rating once i got the answer. thanks

DO NOT USE THIS APP TO STORE YOUR XRP! You need too many things to use this wallet securely. 1. You need a recovery phrase 2. You need a passphrase 3. You need a pin number 4. You need a backup key. Every one of these is an opportunity for something to go wrong. In my case I forgot my recovery phrase and passphrase. They do not offer a way to recover your XRP even if you still have your pin number and backup key. Invest in something secure and simple like a ledger. Lesson learned.

Like others have said I copied and pasted my security credentials exactly yet can't gain access. And trying to get help is non existent or sketchy within the online community. So I guess a decent $ of XRP is gone?

Can't open app anymore 😕 Says it has a bug after five years now can't access account clear cache didn't work ..dev need fix it or something...
