Toby: The Secret Mine

I bought this game a long time ago and reinstalled it recently. I forgot why I did uninstall the game. The controls are so slow to respond. That's the main reason I would ask for a refund but I'm going to give it a second try. The game play is all there which I get the idea. Problem solving patterns married to nice backgrounds and sound effects. Kind of relaxing at times until those controls make you want to punch your phone.

I've always been partial to the games from Headsup. But this game is really special, amazine graphics aside, controlles are simple. As the game progresses, the puzzles start to get harder, overall, another winner from the same people that put out many excellent games.

1st: I do not Agree with the Other Reviewers!! Just Bought this Today, Played for about 30mins, the Art Style is Done well, the Audio & Gameplay are FUN!! Challenging at Times. Other Reviewers have Complained about Poor, Unresponsive Controls etc .. SORRY! to BURST your Bubble, BUT, I Noticed NO Bad Controls here. MY, Positive Review .. Doesn't put a Damper on the other Reviewers & their Experiences, they have had. Because some People have Trouble Mastering the Controls, or Give Up, to Early., without Fully Immersing themselves into the Game, Others Pick up the Gameplay, VERY Quickly, WE are all Different., WE all Play at our Own Level. A Game, I Found was Easy, Others could find Difficult or Frustrating. FINAL: If You ENJOY, Indie Style Games, I would give this a TRY, there is always a "Refund" Option If, You don't like it in the end. Thanks to the Developer! Cheers!!

Make the jump button bigger! I'm on a technical stage where timing is important but if my finger moves even slightly off-center then I miss. Move the stupid action button to the center and make the jump button at least 50% bigger. Fix that and maybe this game could approach 5 stars.

This game is way too difficult and drove my frustration and irritation levels sky high. I've had to refer to you tube 50+ times to pass the first 4 levels!!! I came to a part of level four to open a gate where I need to turn on these lights and it failed me several times. I was doing everything right within the time frame and the door refused to open. If you fun, exciting and simple your not going to find it here. It's one of the dumbest and worst games I've ever played. No more ripping out my goddamn hair. This stupid game gets 2 thumbs down. I dont reccomend this game to anybody!!!

Controller support would be really nice addition. And yes, modern screen sizes works poorly with the game in it's current condition. Please, update the game to meet modern demands.

A very well made puzzle platformer. It was slightly less challenging but I enjoyed it a lot.

Controls are a bit hit or miss. Probably would have been better off grabbing this one on pc. But grab it on special and it's a great game.

Game installed from Nvidia Shield Console but doesn't respond to joystick, only A button which has the character shrug. Gotta get refund please, game should be removed from Google Play for Android TV. I will report it.

Great game. Colorful and challenging. I could play this game the whole day if I only have the time. But making time to play it is worth it.

I used to try this game but the play feel is much difficult to pass through levels.

I have the Nvidia Shield streaming box and when I tried to play with my gamepad none of the buttons will respond so if you have an Nvidia Shield system I wouldn't bother with this game

Actually does install onto shield TV via PC, and has full controller support and even a TV banner. Why this isn't flagged up on the shield store I don't know as it's a great little game.

Beautiful, dark and atmospheric. Very similar to Limbo which is fine. A little to easy perhaps but a minor criticism. Also as previously stated, slightly cumbersome controls which are in the right place but easy to miss.

Overall, the game still managed to be fun, despite the sometimes clumsy controls and the absence of a good and engaging story plot, the levels looked beautiful coupled with a good choice of sounds and tunes and the puzzles were challenging to say the least! (Read the full review on our website)

Game seems nice, but controls are a nightmare. Continuous struggle when switching from right to left and non-responsive jump btn. I wish I could have my money back

Can you PLEASE stop telling me to install Google Play Games!? It's literally every load screen and every time you die. Terribly annoying. Otherwise a great game

Just rated 5* to impress the developer to do more into the game. The visuals are no doubt great. But why controls are so poor??? Why no sliding (gesture) controls available, have to press those specific buttons!!! OMG!!! Secondly, the game needs to have proper guide on controls at least.
