Today Calendar Pro
The stock calendar's UI was completely overhauled to create Today Calendar. The old cluttered grey-on-grey layout was replaced with a clean themeable design to create a truly beautiful calendar app.
Today calendar contains all the features you would find in the stock calendar app, with many features getting slightly modified and rebuilt from the ground up to increase performance and productivity. Today makes organising your agenda incredibly easy.
The month view has been redesigned to be Today Calendar's All-In-One view. It combines both the month and agenda views of the stock calendar to allow the vast majority of users to plan and organise their agenda from a single view.

I cannot say enough great things about this app! It does exactly what I need it to do. Is attractive and super functional. Have been using for almost 4 years now. Even coordinates outside appts. I tried several other calendar apps, including Google's, before finding this one and kept giving up because they were too annoying. Since finding this app, I have my entire schedule coordinated in a simple but sophisticated format and have no more temptation to go back to paper. Love it!
I loved this calendar!! Searched long and hard when my other calendar was discontinued and I changed phones. See what the others are seeing, get free app to continue its use, doesn't load. Havent found another that works as good as this with all features: change views quickly agenda, to month, to split view, year. Love that I can color code text as I choose. Make items recurring. Set multiple reminders on any given event.
I loved this calendar. I've used it faithfully on every phone without problems. Until now. I installed it on my new phone, tried to install the free version for it to unlock. But THE FREE VERSION IS GONE!! Ok, so at some point the developer stopped updating it. For all we know he could have died. But who took the original out of the store? Do they just go away when it hasn't been updated in x number of years? I've certainly gotten my money's worth at this point. But I'm really disappointed!
This Calendar Pro app is one of the best I have ever used... it wonderful, easy and simple to use in split mode .... it give one a monthly overview with indications of how many appointments one has on each date for easy of planning. Click on the date and see all appointment's in agenda for that date... I love it. I reasontly changed phones and forgot to write down the name of the app. it took me days to find it again. Not happy at all. I paid for the pro app, to "support the developer", but now I find that the app has not been updated for years. Not only that, it shows. The widgets are still the same old ones and the list of widgets in the configuration app has not been updated, e.g. there is no configuration available for the Split View widget. Also, the Split View Widget does not show a split view, it just shows the month, and the agenda widget just sits there and says "Loading" constantly. I'm really peed off that I wasted £3.50 on this.
Recommended by someone and it actually works pretty well. I love how the widgets looks especially the opacity. However, it seems that there's a bug that makes the dates to keep "Loading", is it possible to fix this bug? I will re-review once this bug is fixed! Peace!
Sept 2021 Update/Solution: What someone else suggested does work if you have the Today Calendar on an old phone. On old phone, install an apk extractor app from Google Play Store. In the apk app, select Today Calendar app and it will extract an installation file (.apk). Find the apk file on your old phone and share/email this file to your new phone. Click on the apk file email attachment and it will open the apk file on your new phone. You might have to change the settings to allow apk file to be installed. Miraculously working! 👍👍👍 July 2021 Not working. Purchased the PRO version years ago. After having to go thru factory reset on my phone, it says In order to continue using, please also install the free version. When you select install the free version, Google Play Store can't find it and says Try Again. I emailed developer for help and it comes back undeliverable. This is THE BEST calendar app -- Anybody find a solution?
Had to hard reset my phone. Lost the free version I need to all the pro to work. Free version is no longer in the app store. Attempted to email the developer but the emails are returned undelivered. I need this app. It is my FAVORITE but right now it gets a 1 star because I can't get it to work.
Loved this calendar and had the pro version for years now! Only recently does everything I input into the calendar disappear and I have to repeatedly put the info in again. So disappointing as I've recommended this app to so many people and now it's not even working for me! ☹
my go to widget from way back, but its time to move on, it doesnt look good without a weather app, and looks wrong on kitkat to pie. Found another replacement with all the features. Thanks for such a great app.
Similar experience to others regarding paying for the Pro version years ago because it is a great Calendar app and then switching to a new phone to be stuck in the "Download the Free version" loop which no longer is offered in the Google Play store. SOLUTION : download the apk of the old Free version online, install via the apk, and bam Pro version works again. 5 stars for the Pro version. 1 star for the hassle caused by removing the Free version. Final 3 stars only because i found a solution.
Best calendar app I've found and have been using it for years. The split screen function is essential and no other calendar I've found has it. Syncs perfectly with Google. Highly recommended.
From another user, and it WORKS! Update, still the best calendar app. New phone last week to Pixel 5 now the app needs the fee version which is no longer available what to do? Go download a APK Extractor on your old phone, Extract the Today Cal APK, save it a folder, upload it to GDrive then side load it on new phone. Got mine working in 10min. Don't have your old phone? Might be out of luck.
App is good but stopped working as is the case with other reviewers. Required free version is no longer on the app store. The support email address is undeliverable because the domain no longer exists. Wonder where the dev went?
Just recently purchased the Galaxy S21 phone. Unfortunately Today Calendar Pro started to get quirky and wouldn't cooperate regarding my notifications. So I uninstalled and reinstalled. Now its telling me to install the Today Calendar Free app but I'm not having any luck. In playstore it just spins & spins but can't download the free app. I paid for the PRO and love the Today Calendar Pro app. What can I do to get my calendar to work again?
Had today calendar pro on past phones but to add it to my new phone, you need to download today calendar free version which can not be found in the app store anymore. What a shame, it was a great calendar app for many years 🙁
The Pro (paid) version of the app is now telling me that the free version must be installed to use it; however the free version appears to have been removed from the play store. So essentially I've wasted my money on this app.
This is the best calendar app.... Or would be if you could install the necessary free version for this to unlock. See Jeroen Bos' instruction in an earlier review on how to find the APK file. I downloaded that and installed on my new phone and my calendar is working again.
It used to be the best calendar app out there. However, it hasn't been updated in three years and it really shows. All sorts of issues now and no hope of getting them fixed. Save your money.
Could we have default event duration option? And clicking the events in week view in portrait mode doesn't do anything which doesn't really bother me but it's strange :)
So, after changing phones, the pro version told me that it needs the free version installed as well to run but that has been removed from the play store? I'd advise to not install this since it's pretty much a money waste at this point.
I'm in the same boat as everyone else here. I've used the app for years and loved it the whole time... And then, all of a sudden, everything came to a secreting halt. I have yet to see an explanation of what happened or why, or any potential future fix. Honestly just hoping the dev is okay.
Like most of you, my calendar stopped working. Only solution for now is to download apk and this purchased version will unlock it. My calendar is back to working and hopefully the problems will be resolved in the future. Just google "Today Calendar Apk" and install the latest version.
bought the pro version. Error message stated that I needed to uninstall the trial version because it is what kept trying to open. Uninstalled trial, told me I had to install free version to make this version work. Installed free version and LOOP! Piece of JUNK!
Was my favorite calendar. Bought a note 20, today calendar pro is installed and it tells me to install today calendar. When I do, play store goes into in infinite loop. Support email is no longer valid.
For those of you who couldn't find the free version to install their paid Pro-version on a new phone, search for "apkmirror Jack Underwood" and download version 4.0.7.3. Works like a charm for me!
I paid and installed it. Two years later stop working. Try to reinstall the paid version and it reminded stating I must install the free version. WHICH IS NOT AVAILABLE. USE GOOGLE CALENDAR. MUCH BETTER

i like this app, but there are some quirks i'd really like to see fixed. on my samsung s20 fe the foreground and background colors are not managed well regardless of the display settings. for example, the drop-downs for many calendar options are practically invisible. sometimes i have to guess at what i am clicking and make multiple attempts to get options set. another 'bug' is when creating a new event if you name the event with more than one word only the first two words are kept. for example, if i try to type 'birthday party at steak house' the event gets saved at just 'birthday party'. you can go back in and edit it to fix it, but this is a nuisance and should work properly.
