Tody - Smarter Cleaning

I absolutely love this app. It has become indispensable for me to manage daily tasks and motivate myself to clean with ADHD. All the visuals help remind me just how long ago I did something (2 weeks ago can feel like 2 days ago otherwise). I have never been more motivated & organized. I had an issue losing data with the last update, but support was quick to respond and helped me get it fixed quickly.

The app does more or less what I am looking for. I am however periodically experiencing problems with syncing. I wish there was more focus on getting basic functionality working as seamless as possible, instead of adding gimmicks like dusty. Syncing requires closing and opening the app, which is a hassle. Sometimes one of our two devices fails to sync altogether, requiring manual intervention to fix.

What a help! Love this app (premium price is very reasonable too). Instead of cleaning the same things every week, Tody got me started on spacing out the surface cleaning to make time for the big jobs. I'm still spending the same amount of time, but getting so much more done. Would like to have the ability to set a task for a particular day. (Do such & such every 6th Saturday, for example.) Looks like this feature could be coming soon hopefully.

Love Tody! This app takes the mental load off of me having to tell my family what needs to be done around the house, when, and whose turn it is. We just set it up and add to it as needed, and just follow the schedule. My kids love trying to beat Dusty! I've never felt more on top of keeping the house clean without feeling overwhelmed. Also, the support team is super responsive and has very quickly helped me with any app questions I've had or minor issues that needed to be resolved. Love Tody!

Been using Tody for almost a year, and honestly I'm amazed I stuck with it this long, (I hope I won't jinx it). Yes, sometimes I slack off, but it's a helpful distance to regain interest. I really love it so much, I shared it with a friend and we compare our Dusty scores. Still getting used to the new design, but no major complaints. One thing I would love tho, a vacation break button/feature, because it's bugging me that chores keep gathering while I'm not home making a mess.

I love this app. It organises my jobs so it is very clear what needs doing and when. You can set up rotas for each task and assign areas of the house. I recently lost all my data due to an app update but after discussing my issue with the help team, they spoke to the developers who managed to make an awesome update to the app whereby it will remember my username and password which automatically reinstated where I was up to. This is top notch customer service. Above and beyond! Thank you!!

Downloaded this app a year or two ago and...well, it was me, not Tody. But having just moved, I came back looking for help again, and I was delighted by the updates to the interface and the little dust character. Weirdly motivating! Pro tip: download this and start using it the week before hosting a party. You'll have to clean the whole house anyway and it will feel so good checking off all the tasks to green. Then you will be all up-to-date and ready to let Tody help you move forward!

The latest update cleared all my task progress, luckily all custom tasks remained but everything was set to 117 days overdue when I opened the app this morning. Very annoying because I rely on the app to remind me when to do tasks, it's literally the one job I need it for and now I've got to try and remember the last time I did each task. This lost a lot of trust today.

2022 Update: Upping to five stars as the widget has resolved many speed issues. Tody would be great if you could enter ad hoc tasks with an autocomplete that draws from prior ad hoc tasks. Do the same thing twice and Today can suggest making it a repeating task. Old review: Time to mark critical task as done should ideally be sub second. App startup needs to be optimized. Actions need to be performable before data sync completes .

I love this app. There is a general list to get you started, then you can customize it to for what's going on in your home. It has a check off system when something is due that changes colors as it gets closer then over. Easy to set up and use. Dusty is basic but funny.

Lost a star as Widget has broken since the update/ui changes. Its enabled in settings but even if I remove it and readd it, it just shows a box with 4 empty circles and tapping it just opens app from scratch instead of the tasks. (also would be nice if there was a dark theme widget now they have dark theme app)

This app is legitimately helping me get things done! It's you versus the dust monster, Dusty, and his comments are perfect. In my opinion, it's absolutely worthwhile to pay the extremely reasonable yearly subscription ($5 for the year) to customize the app to your preferences.

I did the trial but couldn't learn how to use it that fast so I paid for the year. I've been playing with this app for a while and I really want something that has windows of time blocked out for tasks, with reminders and a checklist. This is a great app for just daily todos. Just not for me.

Brilliant. Just what I need. The upgraded version has all the features I needed in an app. I've tried 10 different chore organiser for the house but this was the only one has all the features and doesn't give me anxiety. It's well worth the £5 I paid for it for a year.

You want a subscription from my kids for them to help with the chores? I like the principle of this, and its easy to use, but sorry this payment model does not suit me at all. Especially since i cant invite them to this data without subbing first. Time to try another system.

Love the app, Dusty is a great motivator. Am finding the sync between devices bugy, sometimes I just get kicked off and have to reconnect to sync.

Great for those that struggle with planning! I have ADHD and get distracted easily. Tasks will pile up and before I know it I have the whole house to clean and I get overwhelmed. This app makes it so easy to stay on top of things. I also love the gamification with Dusty. It gives motivation to get things done and also helps get my kids motivated to help me beat Dusty! It's well worth the yearly fee. I've not found a better app and I'll continue using and customizing it. Thanks!!!

Decent app, but it keeps showing tasks a overdue by multiple days even when the task was just completed. It's quite frustrating!! We use it as a family and initially the app was useful, but now my kids don't like looking at it because it's not working properly.

This app has been incredibly helpful! I actually bought the annual subscription - it was a low price and a good way to support the app, but most of the features (and the most important ones) are available in the free version, which is what I used for a while. My apartment is already much cleaner thanks to help from this app! It's exactly what I needed - thank you!

So me and my partner had a hard time keeping up with chores. We both work crazy jobs and we don't have that much communication between us about what has done and what needs to be done. It also doesn't have that both of us have ADHD and we just hyper focus on certain things rather than thing that needs done. This app has helped so much cuz it helped me to realize certain chores need to be done. It really helps you to get on your feet, and do better

This app has made home life so much easier to manage. Doing a little bit of organising and cleaning each day makes it seem like you are never doing too much but your house is always in tip top condition. I highly recommend this app. The app works well with Samsung Galaxy Watch 4
