The app doesn't disable auto screen off. So it doesn't drain the battery. But it can be annoying when the screen gets repeatedly off when your doing listening or writing (integrated task). Beware you need to allow the storage permission as well to practice speaking.

the app opens up but except the 'projected test date' and 'save profile' no other thing is visible. Please, solve the problem.

Nothing beats to have a test prep app from the maker of the TOEFL test. Liked the approach on how its broken into different sections so you can concentrate and improve on specific sections !
