Toffeed for Facebook
Please note that I have no control over Facebook's mobile website. If something on the website does not work, I may be able to augment the app to provide a better experience but ultimately it is unlikely I can fix it.
Features:
• Light: The official Facebook app is slow and a battery hog. Toffeed is under 2 MB and has no background services which drains battery.
• Notifications: Toffeed supports background notifications.
• Material design: Toffeed follows Google's material design guidelines.
Permissions:The INTERNET permission is used to access Facebook. The ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION permission is to allow geo-tagging. Location access must be enabled in the settings first for this permission to be used. The READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE permission is used to allow file upload. The RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED permission is used to start the notification service. The VIBRATE permission is for notifications.

Remove the damn red share bubble button... It gets in the way ALL THE TIME!!!!!!!
This could be great. The app is well designed and offers good features, the only issue is that it won't let me post things properly (crashes when I select to post a photo, for example). It would otherwise be my top pick for Facebook use, much better than the official one. I will update the review if fixes turn up.
Not heating up my phone or hogging ram. And i can use messages again without that fb messenger app. If I could skin it another color than BLUE, Id give it 5 stars
It works well if all you want is to read posts and notifications, but I could never get it to post anything except maybe a status. Comments work ok, but you can't tag anyone. Overall, I'd rather use the Facebook mobile site.
The post photo bubble doesn't work. Just drops me back to the timeline every time. I can use the camera icon in the regular status post, though, so it's not entirely broken. Will need more time with the app to form a better review than "Just OK." Still looking for the "best" Facebook alternative app...
It's worked great until recently when I haven't been able to upload photos to comments.
Thank you. We can bypass Facebook's nosiness. You shouldn't have to give all your privacy rights away.
This app needs a few things before we can be any good. It needs a most recent in the news feed, dark mode, and "write comment here" didn't disappear automatically when I was making a comment.
Far better than Facebook App which consumes battery from ios and android smartphones. This app is smooth, efficient way to browse fb and also you could sent messages seamlessly
When i previously installed it, it worked perfectly fine but now after sometime when i have installed it back it keeps on syncing but none of the news feed is shown nor are other things shown lilem the friend requests or messages! Please fix these issues
"There was a problem on Facebook's end." I get this error on the home screen all the time. Otherwise it works well.
Works well if you're just viewing posts but it's very restrictive for anything else. Can't tag people in comments for example.
Would be a great replacement of the Facebook bloatware apps if FB had not block it... what they likely do on mobile hence it does not work!
Nice and light, Toffeed beats the house every time. With a great feature set, lightening fast speed, and minimal data usage Toffeed is a winning hand at my table.

Very happy with this after the official app constantly failed on my S6 Edge. My only complaint is I can't share photos with it.
Decent enough but can't tag people in things
Only complaint I have is that I can't tag anyone in the comments section, either by typing their name or putting @"___". Besides this a very good app.
My main negative is that when I'm commenting on someone's post, I can't comment with an image.
Best fb messanger alter ever.Great job guys. Only thing I miss is a theme selection :)
after using it, I find it very annoying that it does not show notifications for messages. I have to go into the app and check manually!!!
Happy to be able to remove the bloated Facebook and Facebook Messenger! Fast and easy to use!

great app if youre trying to keep fb off your phone; otherwise, it crashes constantly when composing messages.
