Seems like sound variety is really good and the water sound sounds like it was recorded from a real tap. Statics okay, but the dryer at least sounds like the kind you'd hear in a public bathroom. I'd suggest anyone use this who has intestinal issues and wants extra privacy in the bathroom.
Found this mentioned on a gastro blog as a sound barrier for any intestinal issues you may have. I was apprehensive at first, but after trying it I was surprised that it did do the job. I use different sounds for different places. The dryer sound works better for public bathrooms without any sound barrier while the water sound I find works better when you're at a friend's house and their bathroom isn't private enough. Even the static sound has a place as I find it works best as truck stops. Good
That dryer sound works as a perfect sound barrier. I use it almost every time and even use the water sound over bathroom fans sometimes just because it sounds so good and hides embarrassing things easier. Not silence exactly, but does work as a filter to kind of zone out the right sounds. I use the water sound because it literally sounds like I just turned on the tap in the washroom. The dryer sound does sound like a hand dryer in a public bathroom, but I prefer the water sound as water sounds work for pretty much any toilet you would use.
Obviously this is to hide toilet sounds and hopefully work to kind of give you the washroom privacy you want...right? Well, its not bad, but I don't like the static sound, not really for the bathroom. I prefer the dryer sound, kind of gives a hand dryer effect. Anyway, worth downloading at least for the privacy.
It works well. If i could suggest one feature, some lowet frequency sounds would allow give you options that are less audible and just as good if not better at creating privacy.
I've used the water sound a bunch of times already. Once when at a friends while their bathroom fan didn't work and then again while out at a restaurant. This most definitely does the trick.
Finally! An app that is all about respect. This world is filled with endless disrespect, it is down right awesome to see an app that focuses specifically on respecting human beings. It works as a sound barrier, but also a respect barrier. We need more apps along these lines.
I have ulcerative colitis and this app is perfect for me. I can now go to any public toilet without any fear of any shame. My condition is hard to deal with, but this kind of app really helps people emotionally by protecting them from embarrassment and shame. I really want to see more like this!

It quite usefull sometimes, but using hairdryer sound on a toilet is kind of like "What are u doin in there with a hairdryer?" and me like "well u know" :D

I found this when looking for something to provide sound masking on Google. I wasn't looking for it, but now that I am here I kind of like it. I have to say, it actually does mask the sound you are trying to hide and I guess it actually does give you relative washroom privacy.

Just as someone who enjoys privacy anywhere I go, I find that this app is ideal. I like not worrying about convenience stores, outhouses at parks, or even sometimes poorly maintained washrooms in actual stores. Surprisingly, this does the trick and works like a sound wall. It uses sounds like water and dryer sound to filter out any embarrassing sounds. Definitely a keeper.
