substitutions have always been questionable, but this time I selected "No Substitutions for anything," and they did not pay attention. I ordered boneless, skinless chicken thighs. My order contained skin on, bone-in, drumsticks. Not at all the same, and basically money wasted.
I really like the redesign of the app. Much more product detail. The availability and price information is a big improvement. App always functions well, great work!
This app has been constantly crashing for a month. Customer Service acts like I have done something while I have been using this app for almost 2 years. I am totally frustrated, but was finally able to place an order to use my rewards before they expired. For quite awhile this app worked fine and I gave it a good review. Kroger has delivered the last two times because I just got too frustrated to try getting this app to work.
The new app is terrible. It isn't showing items that I've been ordering for years as options. If I had rated this last month, I would have given it 5 stars, I'm hoping this is a glitch situation and it goes back to being user friendly, with isle browsing, with easy to find info about the items as well as actually listing inventory that I can walk in and see in the store... the way it was.
I made the mistake of updating the app yesterday and now it no longer works on my phone. It just displays a blank page and won't load anything else. Please fix this!!
New update does not work (updated on my Samsung Galaxy 10 on 04/12). I am unable to log in and cannot check out as a guest.
So easy! Plus they have meal plans making it easier to get the ingredients to make your delicious recipe!
The app lets you order out of stock items and items that Tom thumb doesn't stock/carry. For example, they don't stock half of the Gerber meals that are listed on the app and they don't carry bottled water, but you can order them and just not have them fulfilled when you go to pick up your order.
Have used in past, very good. Within last month, seems things changed and had difficulty with site, so uninstalled and not been back to store. Other close by places to buy groceries.
Works great, easy to add coupons and groceries to my list. Much better than Kroger.
This app is easy to use and so convenient for the busy person. This app keeps me from shopping for things I don't really need.
the Staff here in Grapevine were awesome I helping me with a first time online order. Carrie was super helpful with sorting everything out as we were all trying to figure out the order to be applied with an online coupon. the entire staff was very kind!
The app makes shopping very easy. I love that it shows items I previously purchased!
Tom Thumb vegetables are always fresh and last a long time in the refrigerator. I also love their meats and deli. The staff is friendly and helpful. They always have buy 1 get 1 free. My favorite go to store.
App update is horrible. Previous version wasnt user experience friendly but you could at least use it. Current one, you cannot find where anything because everything has been built into levels that you don't know where they exist and then to top it off, most of the time when I open the app, it doesn't work. I get a blank white screen or a loading screen that never completes.
The old app was beyond better. It takes my phone 3 to 5 times to reload this new one, and, even when it does, I am only there for one thing and if I try to open it again, it's just black screen or I have to close the app by popup. The navigation is terrible, it's frustrating being in the middle of the aisles waiting for my app to cooperate. Only thing I like is you can see the prices and see what you get for free. Otherwise, the old format was superior.
The new version is not good. My list is gone. Cant clip rewards because I can't find them. All my past purchases prior to a week ago have vanished. No more previewing the upcoming week's weekly ad. Can't eliminate categories that are irrelevant like I could in prior version. Just very poor quality control to make it far less user friendly. Please restore prior version. (In response to Albertson's) The chat feature for help doesn't work either. Just freezes.
The change in the app is horrible. It was intuitive, but now it is a random mess that doesn't make any sense. There is no listing for the weekly ad. Not all current ads show in the new app (ie: fresh sweet corn 4/$1). Previously one would choose an offer, now an offer needs to be coosen and then extra step of choosing the product represented in the offer. This is ridiculous, I must insist revert to the previous iteration of the app.
The only way this app works well on my Android phone is to uninstall and reinstall it before each shopping trip. I first load the coupons on my iPad because that version stays up to date, and then have to uninstall/reinstall on my phone for everything to sync. Before I learned this cumbersome, time-wasting, and annoying trick, I lost out on a lot of deals. Fix it for Android, please!
I liked the old app since it worked! The new upgrade seems to have trouble connecting to the server. I get a blank screen with spinning circle waiting to connect to server. I was in a Tom Thumb store trying to use the app and couldn't. When I got home, the app was still trying to connect to the server. All my other apps that require internet connectivity are working, so the problem is with this app. I never had this problem with the previous Tom Thumb app.
The new update is horrible. Somebody decided to complicate something that was simple and worked. Lose this mess and go back to the old app format. No one appreciates this. I don't have a clue if I have" just for you" items or other sale items on my list anymore. The whole thing is a confusing disaster. I can't shop like I use to now , which means less to no trips to Tom Thumb. I loved how it was working. IF SOMETHING WORKS DON'T FIX IT! Correct this problem. New version doesn't deserve one star
Ugh! I can't find anything on the new app. Why on earth did you change something that was perfectly fine the way it was. All of these changes are not Improvements they're just frustrations. And discovering that the app is completely different as you're walking into the grocery store trying to use it is very frustrating. Not sure who on your team thinks that this is easier....IT IS NOT.
New app is horrible! First problem is every time I open the app I have to set my store(only 1 store within 30 miles). Clipped deals cannot be added to my list nor can they be removed once added. I even sent an email inquiring about it was just told that option was removed. When adding things from the weekly ad, I am unable to add the digital coupons. Have to look those up and then add. Too confusing and for the first time I would rather shop at my local Walmart than use Tom Thumb.
I hate the latest version of this app! It no longer makes you confirm when clipping a coupon, so I just lost my one coupon when it mistook a swipe for a touch. I am now the proud owner of a coupon I will never use. I can't find things, like my current point balance. And there is no easy way to exit the app. I've used this app since it was first released and this is the worst makeover yet.
Just a suggestion. It would be nice to be able to leave a tip for the associates if you do not have cash. Maybe add a place for that.
The app is constantly running in the background and giving notices. I uninstalled and reinstalled and now it won't even open. So I reinstalled with same results it never really opens to see or do anything.
