TomatoTimer encourages you to divide your work time into 25-minute chunks separated by five-minute breaks. By doing that you'll be able to control how much time you spend working on your task.
Every fourth work interval you have to take a longer break of 15 minutes.
The app lets you fully customize these intervals, to completely fill your needs.

Would have been great since it's lightweight and has no ads but it does not alert properly when time is up. There is no ring or any sound even if I un-muted my phone. I was using different apps while using this, hope the developers could update this.
Go straight to the point. Minimalistic just like what Podomoro technique is supposed to be. Please add the ability to choose a ringtone when the timer ends and it'll be perfect. Shout out to the devs!
Lightweight with no extra unnecessary features. Easy to use and looks fantastic. Only gripe is the lack of ability to change the notification sound.

If I could change the notification sound at the start/end of periods (so I could ignore other distractions) , this would get a higher rating. Otherwise easy to usr and useful.
The best i found after testing several more popular ones. Sadly, one can't set the notification sound, and on my phone the timer buttons don't look so good.
Seemed like a perfect minimal pomodoro timer. But no sound or vibrate when timer is over. Also prefered if it kept the screen on.
Doesn't notify when a session or break ends, only if your phone is unlocked. Basically the entire point of an app like this.
No ads no in-app purchase clean design, somewhat customizable. It just needs notification management options and it will be perfect
Clean and useable user interface. The only missing feature is the ticking sound during tasks.
Awful. Sends a notification every second which repeats to my watch. Disabled them but that defeated the reason for using it at all. Pity as when I installed it I appreciated its simplicity

Didn't get any notification when the time is up So if i have to use it all i can do is put my phone around me to see when the time finish

Hi, thanks for this simple and brilliant app. Its amazing. In addition to the night mode, I think it will be awesome to add a completely black mode especially for AMOLED displays. Just a thought. Thanks.

This app is excellent in every way, but it's missing the following features: 1) The tic-tac ticking sound characteristic of the pomodoro technique 2) Notification sounds signalling the start and end of a cycle, and the vibration feature at the end of every session 3) Stats and the ability to assign any number of pomodoros for any given task, as an estimate of work for one's productivity. While the last one is negligible, the first two features are crucial and conducive to one's focus levels.
