TONIT - The Motorcycle App

Your app is broken on my end. Doesn't load or let me tap anything. Specifically two fingers or comment section. At times everything doesn't load properly. Sometimes profile pictures that im familiar aren't loading up or say there is an error of some kind. Just a heads up. Be cool if I press 'back' button on left corner so I can be backed to the original post rather than completely exiting. Thanks

This app is garbage. Everytime I try to track a ride it either pauses itself.. or when I try to save a ride it says there was a error. Useless app. Uninstalled from my phone after 3 rides either pausing or throwing errors.

The app always gives me the "Welcome to TONIT" tour every. single. time. I launch it. That in itself is annoying to the point of not wanting to use it. Then there are the random crashes, or the failures to upload a picture if my connection isn't 100% maxed out. Overall a great concept and service, but this app is frustrating enough to prevent me from using it altogether.

So far so good. Early reviews posted some issues but I logged in and accessed all available features without a problem. It did glitch performing a few simple operations...buttons that didn't work being the most common...and it did crash twice...but I was bouncing around fairly fast and it seemed to get bogged down. All in all it seems OK...will see how useful it is in a few weeks I guess.

I really really want to love this app but it's very buggy. I needs to be refined in how it flows. To start, it doesnt allow you to post a full size picture because it demands the pic be the size of the box. The box outline is annoying and it wont go away when you're trying to adjust the picture from behind. I think they should allow more than 1 picture per post. I do find video to be a great add on but priorities first, man... improve the photo upload process and then address other features.

It was all good until the new version. It asks you to pay. Okay thats understandable as the they have added new features. However, I did try to post an image after the app was updated. The quality of the image is GONE!!! Eventhough the image was high quality image that is of size 2MB and with resolution of 4032x1908. This is crazy. What kind of image compression are you guys using. It just happens with randomly with selected images. Never had this problem with the older version 😑😑😑😑😑

I give 2 stars because the idea behind that app is really good, but i think it has been put online too quickly. It crash all the time. Impossible for me to upload a profile picture from my phone. Impossible also to add a picture in a post without crashing. Everytime i'm opening the app, a black box appear with a message telling me that i'm not connected to Internet or a Network when all the other apps on my phone are working perfectly. I've decided to uninstall the app until everything is fixed.

update 7/15/19 so after about a 3 month stint away from Tonit, out of frustration and hopes that the app would get better, not much has changed. load times are lengthy. navigating from screen to screen is still something that takes way more time than you'd think is necessary. aesthetically it looks better but the execution as far as ease of use and how long it takes for things to load is still terrible. it'd also be nice to see a video upload feature to share ride footage and not just pictures

I like most things about the app, but it keep crashing, closing, and then I have to reopen the app and start over again if I was uploading a post, reading others, or Just editing my own profile. I may just leave this one alone until the come out with better versions that don't crash every few minutes. Thank you for the response. If the bugs get fixed, I will edit my review. Thank you.

I've made a lot of friends through this app. People make posts (text + optional pic) and it goes on a main feed where everyone can see, comment and like it. They can also send you a private message making it easier to organize a ride. While the app has features like tracking your ride, I know these features will all be further improved with time. The team running Tonit is devoted and listens to feedback carefully. The app does its purpose now but it has even greater potential! Would recommend!!

This app is awesome, a social media just for riders. It's a great way to connect with new riders in your area. I've met tons of great people while using this app. I'm only giving it three stars because of the issues with the app currently. It's far from optimized. The latest update now causes the app to crash on me repeatedly, as well as displaying my posts instead wheb viewing others profiles. A good addition would be to add a button on people's profiles to be able to quickly add them to clubs.

UPDATE: Was having a "Network Error" pop up issue but they must have paid the server bill as I can log in again and their web site is back. As for the app, its alright, could be better but could be a lot worse. Sometimes getting around on it is a bit of a headache. Not a lot of users around here but I keep checking it every so often. I dont hate it but I dont love it, yet. P.S. I wish there was a way to disable video auto play in the feed. Thats annoying and not everyone has truly unlimited data.

Excellent idea, but i can't use the app for more than a minute without it crashing. Using a Samsung Galaxy tab s2. Sure hope they fix it soon, otherwise will have to uninstall. UPDATE 2 MONTHS LATER: They fixed the constant crashing! it would be a little better if when you went from global to local you could control how far local means. Indiana isn't really local to Pennsylvania. Maybe do 50 or 100 mi options from your location. Other than I hope this app continues to grow. Great concept.

App freezing on login page. Love the app,has great features but no longer works. I usually have to login over and over despite setting app to remember me. Some pics download, some dont. The further I get down feed, the slower pics load to the point where pics no longer show. I also tend to see posts from folks in other states under the local tab. A feature to schedule rides would be great. As of now, the app is unusable.

I never really officially used the app, I never made it that far. Many times I tried to open it and it would crash. Did troubleshooting on my end. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app 3 times. I've used different connections (mobile network, various stable WiFi networks), all without success. I give up. I'm not reinstalling it a fourth time. Great idea but obviously an extremely unstable app.

Awesome app. i love the idea and what you can do. though i would like to be able to post multiple pics at once. and please please please fix the crashing! every time i go to do anything, the app crashes. it really is a great app and idea, but really annoying having to keep going back in over and over to use it.

The platform is straightforward and easy to access. Excellent source for riding with and making new friends, as well as solo rides. I've experienced continuous timely updates/bug fixes. Great sync and real time capability. Tracking and saving personal/group rides is a huge plus. Simply being able to connect and have a place to pop in with like interested and welcoming members, is an awesome adventure!!

Very easy to use layout, nice way to see and share riding experiences and all things motorcycles, without the clutter of other social media genres. My only gripe is that you need a subscription just to list more than one bike in your digital garage. I know the sub comes with some other perks, but the only thing I'm interested in, at present, is the garage, and for the price point sub its not worth it for me. Maybe if there were tiered subscription plans.

I like this app. It's a cool way to connect with other bikers around the country, and locally. Great place to share images of your bikes and find people to group ride with. In the future they will add some more features, so it's just going to get better. If I had to recommend a few features to the developers, I'd say your team should add the ability to send photos in chat, the ability to post videos, and the ability to have links in your posts so you can share your youtube videos etc.

Its a good concept, but it needs some more features. Some that I would personally like to see: -Better search functions, like the ability to search by bike type, or riding style. -Some sort of tab like "rides in your area", where you could see public group rides, rides that your friends are planning, or club rides coming up. -feed filters, rather than just the two options. Like filter by location, bike type, etc. And so much more. hope to see this app continue on!

I really wish they would fix the photo interface to allow rectangular images. With today's cellphones, images are long and thin, vertical or horizontal. Why does the interface not allow uncropped images to be posted? Make it so the long side fits, not a forced short side. We want to show our bikes and not have pieces cropped off. Should be a simple programming change!

I've got all of my notifications turned on, but still don't get notified when someone i follow post or when someone post to my club. Also, the local feed is a nice new option but we should be able to set our range for what we consider "local" because it shows post from 4-5 states away... that's not local. And I can't edit my club, there's no settings/edit cog on my club landing page or in the more details page. Can't even change the photo. Also, we should be able to comment with photos on a post.

this app is great, for its purpose, connecting riders anywhere and everywhere. My only complaints are; 1 when in the app, it can take way too long to load your list of alerts and new posts from other riders. 2 you can only post one pic per post...that's aggravating and annoying, forcing you to make multiple posts from a single ride. so in short, app latency and quality of life issues need to get fixed. Other than that, the app is great.

It seems pretty incomplete. App crashes whenever I try to upload a picture, update information, or join a riding group. Would probably crash if I tried to post something in a group, but I cant even get to that point without it crashing. Hopefully these bugs get worked out, because you guys have a good thing here- it just isnt being executed to its potential.

If you're new to the world of motorcycles or have been around for decades. TONIT is the go to for your community! The support and positive feedback between riders is top notch. To be able to see it in different parts of the country with a tap and a swipe is amazing! The folks behind the scene working on the app has brought it leaps and bounds to the present update. Difficult for me to find riders "near me" who are still active on the app. People from larger areas and cities it's good for. Also i believe that being able to adjust the radius of whats local from the app users location would be a big improvement. I'm from SC and seeing people from TN as a local. Overall its a good app and everyone is super friendly an seems like there are no strangers.

I think this app is an amazing idea. It's not perfect but the Tonit team is always improving the app and they will even contact you directly if your active on the app and ask your thoughts on things. it allows you to find new riding buddies learn about events and gear and my experience with the other people on the page is 99% positive. also has a way to view all the tonit members near you. I LOVE THIS APP.

I've used the app since the beginning and seen it grow and continually get better. In season, I use it to coordinate group rides, check out events, and track routes. Off season I use it frequently to check out what's going on in other regions and clubs. There's a lot going on in this great m/c community. I've met so many awesome fellow riders through the app which turned into great friendships. When I've needed support or found a bug they are quick to respond and resolve.

Been using the app for almost six months. They've updated it with direct messaging awesome feature to connect with others. The app is awesome. I've met a lot of good people to ride with in Atlanta. Just by using the app alone. Everyone helps and looks out for each other. A must have app for motorcyclists.

So far it doesn't provide full functionality. I can like and comment on others photos and other media but the app will not allow me to post. It gets to a point to provide content and then goes blank. I initially thought it was thinking but then never comes back. If an update is available i will modify my review. So far, no dice.
